The resort is amazing! The unit was clean and Bree was great at responding! The kitchen did not have a ton of supplies, so don’t plan to cook big meals there! The room is right next to the elevator so it’s easy getting in and out quick!

We had a really relaxing and pleasant day at this resort, we stayed here many times, but this was our first time staying in a privately owned unit. The unit was very clean had everything we needed. We love the kitchen and all of the new appliances, including water directly from the fridge. The only downside is that it’s directly next-door to an elevator so it is a little loud at certain times I highly recommend bringing a sound machine so it can help drowned out the noise. The only other downside was that they had construction going on, so we were not able to use our balcony at all Aside from that we would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time! There are a couple minor things people should be aware of before booking- the shower head is low I am 5’7 and had to duck a little and the bedroom is close to the elevator. I had read a previous review and brought a sound machine which blocked out any noise. The updated kitchen and carpet are fabulous. The grounds for the property were beautiful with easy access to anything you’d need. We would absolutely come again.

We should have been told of the construction on the property. We had to listen to construction all week right next to our unit. If we had known this we would not have stayed at this resort. This should have been disclosed on the VERBO add.

Hubby & I rented this unit 09/14-09/24 for 28th wedding anniversary/first Hawaii trip.
The bad: pool construction. Expected balcony work, didn't know about the pool construction until 4 days prior to leaving when I read a review on hotel website. When I asked VRBO mgmt & saw it had been added to VRBO recently since our booking, I was told they didn't know about it. This should have been disclosed, I would have booked elsewhere since this was our first trip to Hawaii & our anniversary. They should have notified us & offered a discounted stay or option to cancel IMO.
The good: location, nice/clean room, comfy bed, plenty of cookware, dishes, great blender, balcony with lovely view, lush foliage, currently one nice pool & hot tub where they play Hawaiian music adds to the vibe, restaurant is good, nice small beach, snorkeling if water/sand isn't churned up. Food trucks in front of resort, several inexpensive options for dinner & grocery store across the street (better than Safeway). Friendly staff, ample parking. A few small boutique shops on premises. We really enjoyed the resort overall. Didn't have any noise problems in our room (it doesn't face the pool or front of resort so maybe this helps), darkening drapes to aid with sleeping (hard to sleep when you want to rise early to enjoy the view).
Overall, if staying at this location I would stay here again if no major construction projects. Would recommend changing lock-box on door, hard to open/close, it seems old. Add cocktail glasses (Champaign/martini). We enjoy a mimosa in the morning while looking out at that beautiful view! We rented the room for our last day since departure was at 10:40 pm, glad we did. It was great to enjoy the beach, dinner & luxury to shower/pack later. Recommend this as you get another full day of vaca & not have to live out of your car.

The property was clean and provided all that was promised. Bree our contact was easy to reach (we misplaced key code upon arrival) and proactive checking in once or twice during our stay via email. Check out was easy.
Across the street is a local supermarket as well as a Safeway 5 miles down the road. The Safeway shopping center has a Starbucks and Longs Pharmacy. Nakalele Blowhole is 13 miles to the north. On your way to the Nakalele you'll pass both Fleming and Slaughterhouse beaches. Just beyond the beaches is Honolua Bay with great snorkeling. Surf lessons and parasailing are within 10 minutes to the south. We would use this property again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. We liked the location, the lanai, pool, and resort. There were plenty of utensils, towels, and other things we needed. One negative was hearing the elevator door close from the bedroom, but it wasn’t a huge issue. We walked to the nearby ABC store and the food trucks a few times. The beach was small but still nice. We also liked that this was a short drive from Black Rock Beach. Good communication too. Can’t wait to come back!

It's an older building and this shows a little bit in the unit. The furniture was fairly comfortable. Ice maker did not work. Televisions were not smart tvs and in this day and age...feel this was ridiculous. Snorkel gear (fins) were broken. Some electrical outlets didn't work. Pool area was very nice and building had some nice events. Noisy unit (especially in the morning) as unit is next to the elevator. Nice ocean view from the balcony.

We enjoyed this condo and loved our time in Maui! The resort was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai watching and listening to the ocean waves. We loved the pools, hot tubs, staff and this beautiful island. Can’t wait to return.

Everything about Hawaii is fantastic. We ate in often so having a kitchen that had all necessary items was good but the place was not very clean. It is evident that the place is run by a management company and not the owner directly. Minimum level of maintenance and painting evident throughout the condo.

The condo had everything we needed and we loved the area. Although the beach in front of resort was small, a short walk through a couple of parking lots lead to a boardwalk and beach that was great for long walks. At night, the boardwalk has restaurants, music and tiki torches.

This property was all that we needed and close to all our activities. The kids loved the pool with all the colored lights. The view from the condo was a partial ocean view which was ok too. The only issue we had is the kids and I were stuck in the elevator closest to the parking structure and it took over an hour to get us out. As you can imagine the kids were pretty freaked out. The condo manager was going to make it right with us until he found out we rented from a private owner and then said sorry, nothing we can do for you. This was and hour plus of our vacation that we won't get back.

One thing that was a surprise to us is that the property would not hold our luggage for a few hours on our check out day. They were adamant about this and this was not made clear in any of the information provided to us ahead of time. If we had known ahead of time we would have been able to make alternate plans. We have never encountered this in any of our travels throughout the world or through vrbo before so it was very disappointing.

Bree provided great communication throughout the rental process. Great pools and beach access. Unit is as described in previous reviews. I was slightly concerned about the elevator noise but we found it to be minimal and my husband is a very light sleeper. Bed was super comfortable. We'd stay here again. Thank you Bree!

Perfect 7 day getaway. The condo had everything we needed. Just an FYI, it is right next to the elevator. You can hear a lot of foot traffic. We used the Fan App to mask the noise.

This vacation unit was as expected based on pictures and descriptions in the listing. The bed was very comfortable and the teens said the sofa bed was ok too. Being able to wake up without a stiff back (except the morning after surfing lessons🙂) was wonderful and not always the case with vacation rentals.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was the perfect little place for us. The pictures of the view don’t do it any justice. We enjoyed our stay here in Maui and Bree was amazing! She was easy to get in contact with and very accommodating. You do hear a little bit of elevator noise but it’s very faint and quiet. I am a light sleeper and it didn’t wake me up. There are two pools and a tiny beach area. I highly recommend staying here!

Location was close to lots of things. We spent our time mostly beach hopping so it worked well for us. The unit itself could use a refresh but it was functional and had everything we needed. We emptied trash at least 1-2 times per day and never left food out but bugs came to visit. (This was really my only complaint because I hate bugs) I understand this is hard to control in a condo with units all around. Our teens enjoyed the pool and taking sunset pics at the beach. The staff was friendly. Overall we had a nice relaxing vacation in Maui. Mahalo :)

We really liked this property! The condo itself had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable even down to the after sun lotion! The location is great-close to everything (Lahaina, Whaler's Village, Safeway, Snorkel Bob's, restaurants, etc). The resort grounds are very nice and there are two pools and two hot tubs! I would say the only cons are that the beach is eroded (however, you can walk next-door to the beach) and you can hear the elevator from the bedroom (luckily I am a pretty sound sleeper). I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed in this one bedroom, full size kitchen, living, bathroom with lanai 11/24-12/1/2018. Kitchen has everything a kitchen needs: fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, micro, disposal. Nice countertops, and flooring. Stacked washer/dryer, small but worked well. Bed was comfortable. View overlooks parking ocean view is as pictured. The resort does not recognize this unit, and not very cordial to renters. Parking is 2 floors below unit, and elevator is parallel to the unit bedroom. It doesn't bother too much; sounds like strong wind blowing. I would recommend for families. Easy access to the pool areas also

Our stay was awesome. It was our honeymoon. We happened to be there while A LOT of tree maintenance was being done on the property. The "up" side is the ocean view became even that much better, the "down" side, is it was very very noisy with chainsaws and the wood chipper. It was impossible to have any downtime at the condo during the day with the noise so that was disappointing. My guess is that project won't be done again for several years however. The condo itself was clean and for the most part well stocked. My husband thought the bed was too firm. I didn't mind it.. We both felt the bed linens weren't great. There is some noise from the elevator, but I thought it sounded like the wind blowing/white noise and was not distracting or disturbing. It did not affect our sleep at all. Over all a great experience.

The condo was fairly clean and comfortable, and the location very convenient to everything. The view is also very nice. This was our first time in a larger resort and we expected elevator noise from reading other reviews, but we weren't expecting to hear all the delivery vehicles below us in the parking lot and they were quite loud at times. The walkway is also right outside the bedroom and people come and go at all hours. The bedroom mattress was not very comfortable either. We are used to staying in a much smaller complex, so that could be part of the problem. I would still recommend staying here, just be sure to bring ear plugs for sleeping!
