Excellent location! Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the beach! Perfect little coffee shop downstairs called the “The Coffee Window” for morning gazing on your lanai! Would definitely come back!

Check in was a super smooth process, room was clean and functioned perfectly for our needs. It was great to have access to a refrigerator and stovetop. Only negative was that the pool was out of commission. We were told we could use the pool at the next door hotel but felt awkward. The hot tub and sauna were open and were nice.

My wife and I reserved this rental based on the previous reviews and pictures of the interior. Immediately upon entering, it was clear that the pictures were incredibly misleading, as well as half of the furniture was not even in the room. There was sand (it's Hawaii, I know) on the floor in the entrance as well as a collection of coffee creamers/napkins/sugars behind the entertainment stand. There were two surge protectors, one in the living room and one ON the bedside table. There was zero art, no clock of any kind, and zero soap dispensers or soap trays for the bathroom. The circular plastic table in the unit creaks like it was full of cricket knees and the loveseat did not turn into a hide-a-bed as the photos showed a totally different loveseat altogether. Similarly, the bed was different and was simply a box surrounding the bedspring and the mattress was the least comfortable thing I have slept on in a few years (and I do a TON of camping).The location is very near the beach and main drag, allowing easy access by foot; but two blocks east of the nice poshness of Waikiki and more of a "rough" block by comparison. The unit is on the 31st floor, so elevator time is something obvious. Literally the only redeeming quality of the rental is the height of the room above the rest of the city, which provides a nice sliver view of the ocean. The rooftop pool was a super nice thing to have, and the hotel keeps the common areas very tidy. Which to add the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accomidating.I can best compare this unit to the Norweigian jail units I have seen in documentaries. It is clear that the owner of this place does not care for a better renter experience. Units on the same floor had nice backsplashes and hand soap containers and simply looked lived in and nice and comfortable. Overall, I would not hope to stay in a place like this for a vacation for the price without some simple additions that would make it feel a bit m

Clean and conveniently located. Would suggest that whoever manages provides better info/communication. The property was sprayed for pests during our visit and we only found out through a posting on the elevator. No info provided regarding pool,etc.

Incredible sunrise, Diamond Head and ocean views. Suite had everything we needed. Ate all meals in and picked up groceries from Waikiki Market. Unit is on 31st floor, 2 floors from roof top pool and BBQs so very convenient amenities access. 2 min walk to the Duke statue on Waikiki Beach, shopping and restaurants. Would rent this unit again.

This unit is close to the beach, amazing views, friendly building, kitchen had everything I needed, and management was super responsive. I cannot wait to stay there again. And hopefully open up the whole wall of glass doors. Very lovely place. Thank you.

This was a great location for us and we had a good stay .Friendly reception and easy check in.Room was well equipped and plenty of towels. Very close to Waikiki beach. Only let downs were one of the ranch sliders doors was broken so we couldn't open it right up and shower control not attached securely and came off a few times.Also the table in the room was terribly creaky,and noisy and madeit difficult to use.

Really great apartment! Location is excellent, being on the 31st floor makes this apartment quieter than others, even with the balcony doors open. Apartment is very clean, can't find any fault with it. We stay in Waikiki twice a year and this apartment compared to others in the same price range is more spacious and comfortable.Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Room was exactly what my son and I needed for our vacation to Oahu. Conveniently located about two blocks off the main beach front in Waikiki, close to many stores, restaurants, food carts. Great view of the ocean, as well as Honolulu. At night we kept the patio doors open and just locked the screen door shut to have fresh air all night, closed the patio doors in the early morning when people started driving around and getting noisy. It had dishes and cookware, small appliances, mini fridge and freezer combo. Couch was firm and a little uncomfortable, but my teenager did not seem to mind. Bed was comfy. Pool was shut down for our visit as was the hot tub. Our key card never seem to work for a late night hotel entrance, we always had to ask staff to open the door with their card. Parking garage is $30 a night, well worth it for convenience, but the gate does not open unless a hotel staff member opens it for you.

My husband and I had a great stay here. The view is even better than I thought it would be from the listing! Everything was very clean, and we had plenty of clean towels and bedding. The bed was a bit soft for us (just a warning for others who prefer firm mattresses) and being up so high, in February, the wind was pretty loud. You could hear the traffic below but it wasn't terrible. There were a lot of great places to eat and shop within a short walking distance. We did wind up renting a car and paying $30/day to park in the garage, which was convenient. The rooftop pool was nice, but the hot tub was more like a warm bath. The only real thing that we were bummed about was there was no coffee for that first morning - after that we wound up buying some to make there, but it would have been great to at least have a little bit there to wake up to.

Pro: good location, 2 blocks from the beach, living room is open and bright Con: noise from the AC, street and traffic noise 24/7, No dishwasher, washer/ dryers are old and are shared with the entire building. Kitchen cutlery and utensils and pillows are in bad condition. Stains on the shower wall n bath; dirty floor when we checked in. Stayed for 2 weeks and got provided 3 rolls of one ply toilet paper ( worse quality than the that of a public bathroom) , coffee machine without coffee. Be prepared to bring or buy your own shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, tissues, garbage bags and kitchen towels if you stay more than 3 days. Overall, if you pay less than $200 per night n you are not noise sensitive n don’t care too much of other finer details, then it is acceptable. If you pay double the rate than we did compared to other hotels and buildings, then you should have better choices. We found out that the rate, offered by the hotel directly for a similar unit around the same time with daily housekeeping and supplies, was cheaper than this private unit. So please check with Pacific Monarch to compare before making any booking with this private unit.

The hotel itself/location overall was great. My only complaint was not being able to check in the first night and having to get a different hotel (as they said, no fault of mine). The front staff did nothing to help me figure it out and basically sent me on my own way. It was my first time in Hawaii and that interaction alone will defer me from going with this hotel again.

Overall we were very happy with the place. The basic kitchen met our needs, and the space was enough for a couple to relax and get ready for a day exploring Oahu. The rooftop pool looked inviting, but we just didn't have time to make use of it on our 8 night stay. The check-in process was seamless and front desk staff very polite. While the hallway to the elevators on our floor were in need of a facelift, the process to do that was started during our stay with crews working while we were out during the day. Would be interested to see the final results! Overall the apartment was in good shape, although the furniture is starting to show some wear. The view southeast, from mountains to the water was fantastic. We enjoyed some beautiful sunrises!

Only one keycard for 4 people, aircon is so loud you can barely sleep, when you turn it off it leaks more water than you’ll find in any of the chicken dishes at The Cheesecake Factory, the “sofa” was broken, the mechanicals were broken and would not open so we had to sleep on the floor, when I told Alii beach customer service about this they sent maintenance that couldn’t fix it and then left, no help in regards to sleeping on the floor and then ignored my messages after that. The bathroom mixer handle for the shower is falling off and broken. The fridge is probably warmer than the microwave when set to high. Location was great for the price, plenty of bird poo on the seats on the balcony for those that enjoy that sort of stuff as a welcome gift. Apart from that place was average at best.

The condo was clean and it had spectacular views! The kitchen was small but it felt large. There was all sizes of pots and pans, if you need an appliance it was there, along with every utensil you can think of. They even have beach chairs to use at the beach which is only 2 blocks away! Lemon lime cucumber water in the lobby that is very refreshing after a long day in the ocean. The self serve laundry area was very clean. The pool area on the roof made a relaxing way to end the night. We will definitely stay here again!!

The room was very clean, neat and tidy! While you can hear all the street noise as it is very urban, you cannot hear your neighbours so very quiet that way. Very close to absolutely everything. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The view from the unit is great. But in the 1st photo shown of the unit, it shows both sliding doors opened up to expose the view. The left side of the sliding glass doors does not open. Also, the lock for the sliding glass door does not function. So, they installed a latch on the doors which is very difficult to secure. We entered the unit and found it pretty dusty and the sofa had some stains on it. We placed a blanket on the sofa to feel comfortable sitting on it. We reached out to the property managers and they promptly replied asking if we wanted the cleaning crew to return but, by then we had already wiped down the surfaces and vacuumed the floor. Besides those issues, the unit is very close to the beach, shopping, and dining. Parking is $30 a night at the Pacific Monarch. Overall we enjoyed the stay here. I rated it lower because I felt misled by the featured photo of the unit and the title "professionally sanitized".

Loved the view from up high. Place was clean and surprisingly quiet. Location was good too - short walk to the beach and lots of good restaurants nearby.
