We were a party of five from Ontario, Saskatchewan and British Columbia in Canada. We especially enjoyed breakfasts and dinners on the spacious lanai and with binoculars, we sometimes spotted humpback whales and spinner dolphins in the ocean. We used this central location at Kona-Kailua for a week in which the highlights were a drive to the summit of Mauna Kea for a hike and then sunset, a round of golf at the Kona Country Club, a dive in the pristine waters, a helicopter circumnavigation of the Big Island, a tour of the North Shore and Mo’okini Heiau, a visit to Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park – Hawaiian Place of Refuge, snorkelling at Halapu’una Beach Park, observing Monk Seals at A-Bay and an excellent tour of Greenwell Kona Coffee Farm. Our only criticism was the plethora of more than 12 administrative emails regarding the electronic rental agreement, reminders, payments, etc. plus another 5 emails from the concierge services. This was overkill.

This property was exactly as it appeared in the listing. It was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, clean, view whales from the deck, go to the beach (if we could find one). It was located in a nice area. The only drawback was the room on the front of the property is not far from the main road and it was very noisy at night, even with earplugs and only one window open. It may be different for people who are used to street noise but it was rough for us.

just want to let you know the BBQ start is dangerous, blows up in your face when starting. The light at the pool was broken and was blinking all night long. did not get a call back when trying to figure tv out. Spiders were everywhere outside of building. My husband had to clean them from our outside walkway daily. i’m not a fan of poison but someone should be knocking them down occasionally . There are holes in the screens where geckos get in. the kitchen was well stocked and the unit had lots of great beach stuff. Very quiet and comfortable. Overall, we had a great experience there.

Comfortable stay with the exception of no a/c. In October, high humidity and 90+ weather. Great view and sounds of ocean, rain at night, and birds. The Coqui frogs were fun, but I can see how some would find them annoying. Nice location, able to escape craziness of town, and close to Captain Cook with good restaurants and places to explore. Ice maker was unusable, tub was plugged (but fixed quickly), and lanai shade was dirty from birds staying in it.

This was the perfect location for our stay! Short drive to beaches, snorkeling, and shopping. We travelled all around the island and this location was a good central location to make the drives not too terribly long when going south to Volcanoes or east to Hilo. * Take note that this unit has no A/C. We had to keep the fans running all day and night with windows open (drawing the shades in the afternoon sun) to keep the environment comfortable.

Well maintained, beautiful when walking in, great view from deck, we had trouble with ants and with a quick call they immediately responded with traps, kids loved the pools.

This is a great 2 bedroom plus loft property, perfect for family with 2 teenagers. The lanai is a good size and the views of the ocean and sunset are unobstructed. Supplied with boogie boards, beach chairs, noodles and beach towels. Walking distance to a shopping centre with groceries and a Long's and a short 5 mile drive into town. Highly recommend and would most definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying at this property! We had three kids 6 and under with us and loved the pools and all the beach equipment (beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, etc.). The property is very updated and the lanai and views are amazing! We loved that the kids could watch TV in the loft while the adults watched TV downstairs. Parking is also very convenient. The only downside is that there is no AC, which Is not uncommon for properties in Hawaii, so during the day the unit can get hot. There are lots of fans provided though and it cools off nicely at night. We would definitely stay again.

Nice property. Everything we wanted was there. Most places in area are like this but just to warn you there is no A/C but the property has plenty of fans and you can sleep with all with windows open. Very comfortable in morning or on cloudy days. Nice to have washer and dryer. All appliances work great. Nice view from balcony. KTA supermarket is a 5 minute drive if that. Would stay again.

This unit is so beautiful. The sun sets right outside, from the Lanai you have the perfect view. My favorite part was not having to chase the sunset and enjoying it from the unit. The place was stocked with anything we may have needed. The only problem we had and this is not at all related to the owner or unit we stayed in was the neighbor lady on the right side of us came banging on our door threatening to call the police because my infant was crying in the middle of the day. She had came down with chicken pox in Hawaii so it was a bit miserable for her. The lady said my baby cried all day and night the day before. Well, we were not even there that previous day, we left for Hilo at 7am and returned at 8 pm. I'd like to know how my baby screamed all day and she could hear her when we were not even there. The neighbors had a screaming kid, we heard her for an entire week but apparently the old white tenants here would rather blame the brown people. I definitely felt dismlcriminated against from the community. We are a Native American family, we are all very brown skin and look as if we actually are from the island. The rich white people here are too old and not okay with families or noises. Our last day Barbra by the pool came to complain that the kids were loud at the pool. It's 12 in the afternoon and it's a freaking pool. That was disappointing for sure. She complained about them having fun because she could hear them. Well Barbra, it's noon and we paid a lot of money to be here and use this pool. I apologized to her and made the kids come back to the unit. We didn't return to the pool after that. Long story short. If your white you won't have any issues. Your kids can scream and be ass hats and hey the tenants will just find a brown family to blame it on! Definitely disappointed with the people. The manager said they all know 67 percent of the units are rentals, so really this shouldn't have been an issue.

Great views of the ocean and wonderful sounds of the waves crashing on the shoreline. The deck was a wonderful place to spend the mornings and late afternoons.

We loved the condo. We love to cook and it was well stocked with pots and pans and spices. Everything we needed. A quiet and beautiful location. We enjoyed the patio and watching the golfers. We golfed every day we were there. We would love to return for another visit here!

We had the pleasure of staying here for 8 nights and would absolutely look to stay here again. Comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, lovely pools and grounds, and an amazing view made this a great choice for our family. The property was close in to several great beaches, grocery, and drug stores. We traveled with 4 kids (2 teens and 2 pre-teens) and we had plenty of space to spread out. The washer and dryer were a nice amenity and the condo had plenty of towels (bath and beach) for our stay. Overall, 10/10 would recommend!

The view was impeccable! The location was great! Pretty central for an easy drive north to some great beaches and a longer drive south to the black sand beach. The only thing was there wasn’t any air conditioning, so it was pretty warm at night. But otherwise, it was fabulous!!! Beautiful kitchen (well stocked with dishes and pans, etc). Would definitely rent again!

Our family of 6 adults/older teens had plenty of space in this beautifully updated home. There is a narrow spiral staircase to the loft that was a bit awkward for our tall teens, but once up there was plenty of room and a beautiful view. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the lanai, and the many provided fans kept us comfortable inside without a need for a/c. The condo was well stocked with essentials, and the provided gear (towels, chairs & umbrellas, snorkels & boogie board) made our beach days comfortable and easy! We used the concierge to help us book a dolphin & snorkel excursion, which was the highlight of our visit. There is a grocery store nearby, which made cooking meals in the beautiful kitchen easy and convenient. This home is immaculate and exactly as pictured. We would return tomorrow if we could. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay - the property was exactly as pictured, plenty of room for our family of four, well stocked, beautiful view, and management was quick to respond when we had an issue. We spent time at one of the pools and hot tub on the property which was also very clean.

The property had everything we needed for our party of 6 (4 adults, 2 children). The kids loved having a loft area to themselves. The location was perfect, everything you needed was close by. We had a wonderful view of the golf course and the ocean which made for beautiful sunsets. The barbecue and lanai was great for our evening meals. The pools were clean and refreshing. Everything was absolutely perfect! Could not of asked for anything more! Mahalo!
