Idyllic Waikoloa Retreat with Ocean View and Easy Golf Course Access

You will fall in love with this end unit condo because of the comfortable living space, panoramic view and MANY UPDATES! The kitchen and baths have been renovated, with new appliances in the kitchen to channel your inner cook and new cabinets and granite countertops in the bathrooms and kitchen for you to enjoy!

The unit has been freshly painted and has new lanai furniture so everyone can share a meal with spectacular ocean and golf course views. The views will leave you with memories of a true Hawaii experience! The lanai has an enticing view of the 9th hole of the Waikoloa Village Golf Club with the Pacific Ocean in the background. You can see the outline of Maui on a clear day from the lanai. In this private and serene setting, one can enjoy the sunset with a cocktail made at the wet bar on the lanai. On the entertainment front, we have upgraded to a 50” LED Smart TV where you can stream Netflix or Hulu for those times when there is nothing on TV. There are games as well so make one night game night with Monopoly or perhaps Scrabble. The unit can easily accommodate up to 6 people; with 2 sizeable bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a kitchen with room for more than one cook!

You are away from tourist traffic yet so close to some of the finer points of the Big Island. The condo is located approximately 10 miles from Hapuna Beach, notably one of the finest on the island with white smooth sand and gentle waves. This is Hawaii, so ENJOY and do pack the sunscreen! The Waikoloa resorts offer fine dining and shopping and are easily accessible via car; approximately a 10 minute drive. You can swim with the dolphins at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, take a helicopter ride with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters or test your golf game at the Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed Waikoloa Village Golf Club located within walking distance of this condo. If you need more of a challenge, fine resort golf courses such as Mauna Kea, Mauna Lani and the Waikoloa Beach Resort Courses are a short drive away.

If you would rather just relax, you can do so on the lanai or at one of the two pools at Waikoloa Villas both of which have a spa hot tub. Bring your favorite book and enjoy! If none of this gets you excited, how about a game of tennis, did we mention there are tennis courts located at the complex?!! The immediate neighborhood also offers wonderful views of the great Pacific Ocean so we encourage you to take a morning walk and enjoy the beauty of this tranquil area. The complex is not equipped for charging electric vehicles.

Now that you have made it to the Big Island, you have to check out Kilauea, perhaps the world's most active volcano. You can explore the Green Sand Beach (Papakolea), Volcanoes National Park and the lava tubes. Make sure you stop at the Punalu'u Bake Shop, the southernmost bakery in the United States, for Hawaiian sweet bread and malasadas. If you find there is too much sun on the Kohala coast, how about a day trip to Hilo where you can check out the cooler and greener side of the island? The Kohala Coast is sunny and dry while the Hilo side of the island offers a stark contrast with rain forests and cooler temperatures.

With all this activity, I know you have worked up an appetite. Perhaps you want to barbeque for dinner? Feel free to utilize one of the grills located on the pool deck which is a short walk from the condo. This condo also has a well-stocked kitchen so you can make your group very comfortable at meal times. There is a grocery mart within a half mile of the condo where you can stock up on all the essentials for your time on the Big Island. You will also find a few restaurants and a hair salon in this shopping area. We are very proud of our island home and invite you to please come join our ohana, Aloha!

This is a great location, close to the golf course, shopping centre, etc. and only 10-15 min drive from the beaches (A-Bay, Puako). It was well stocked with kitchen utensils; the only thing missing was a salad spinner. Although we had a few minor maintenance issues, these were handled promptly (thanks Alex). there was a good selection of beach items. The property was just as described and presented in the photos - beautiful view of the golf course and the ocean beyond. Parking spaces were very limited -- we had to park on the street 2 nights.

Our family of five stayed at the condo, which was very nice and clean. Not having an AC was an initial concern of ours, but the condo gets plenty of air circulation and all the ceiling fans helped cool us down. The complex is quiet and has two pools, which we enjoyed. Having boogie boards, foldable lawn chairs, and other items for beach outings was a plus. The only item missing were ice packs but we improvised by refilling water bottles with tap to get around that. Kona is about a 45 min drive but we only drove into town twice. Costco and the Airport are a shorter drive away. Waikoloa Village does get windy in the late afternoons, but our allergies didn’t act up!

This 2 br 2 ba condo with spacious lanai is well located just minutes from large grocery store. It is situated on well maintained grounds just a short walk from the pool/hot tub and gas grill area. We would recommend it for 3-4 adults.

The community the condo is in is beautiful. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Little hard to find at night but directions given are accurate. Had friends with us for a few days and each couple had their own private area. I would stay here again.

Initially, I was disappointed since the unit did not have a A/C unit. But with an elevation of 400' it was cool at night for comfortable sleeping. Everyone enjoyed the amenities and we are looking forward to a return trip.

Our stay was affected by the lack of cleanliness in the Unit. In our unanimous estimate we believe the unit needed to be cleaned more thoroughly, seemingly the bedding and couches were well worn. There was a gritty feeling on the surfaces and bedding perhaps dust and grit got in through the windows. The fan in the main seating area exemplified the dirt since the blades were covered in dirt. Disappointedly a trip to the pool one afternoon found it full of leaves and debris, being unsuited for a swim. Overall, with some updating a regular cleaning the unit may be more suitable for occupancy. Finally, Multiple agencies represented the property, Expedia, VRBO, Love Rentals and the Host requiring vacationer to clean the unit top to bottom before departure. The Host reimbursed the cleaning fee after we complained.

Better than photos. Very comfortable and clean condo that overlooks the golf course and ocean. We really enjoyed our stay and the nigh time breezes and lanai.

This was a great spot for our month stay. It was a bit far from the beach but the neighborhood was quiet and the pools were nice.
