The spacious one (1) bedroom floor plan provides ample space for the family to spread out. There is one (1) king size bed and one (1) sleeper sofa that turns into a second sleeping option to accommodate four (4) guests. The unit also comes with a full kitchen for travelers on a budget looking to save money and cook their own meals. Other unit amenities include free secure parking, WIFI, and coin operated laundry is available on the 34th floor (same as the unit) for your convenience.

Guests have access to a variety of building amenities such as a shared heated pool, two (2) hot tubs, tennis court, basketball court, BBQ area, children’s playground and twenty-four (24) hour security. The building also has the Banyan Breeze Coffee Shop and a Mini Mart

We love the location, close to the beach at Waikiki. The free parking made it reasonable for us to rent a car to access the rest of Oahu. The condo was fully furnished and stocked with basic amenities. Management was responsive. We look forward to future stays in this unit.

We always stay at Banyon when we visit Hawaii. However, this unit did leave us a little disappointed. 1. it was not anything like the unit pictured. 2. The AC unit leaked about an inch of water every day on the lanai making it had to sit outside and enjoy the view. I did call the number provided but got no call back. Upon check in we found a mans beard trimmer under the pillows on the bed. Of course I then had to wash the bedding. dishes were all dirty, so anything you used had to be washed first. Overall we still enjoyed our stay and didn't let these issues affect our vacation at all. However, next year I will be clear about not wanting this particular unit. It defiantly needs a remodel.

This property is perfectly located for walks to all the fun of Waikiki. It was clean and generally as advertised. There aren’t many options for pans/utensils for cooking but we made do. Small things could make the property more functional. For example, curtains that reach the floor and completely cover windows would make it easier to keep cool. Also a dustpan and brush and a broom would be helpful to clean the inevitable sand on the floors. Overall, the property was nice.

The management staff were available and responsive. Things they don’t tell you: this is a noisy area(sirens, cars, people etc). Air conditioning can’t be on cooler than 74 degrees or it leaks all over the deck. The unit is all windows on one side but the window coverings aren’t adequate so it gets hot during the day and bright lights shine in all night. The patio chairs were in very bad shape so very difficult to sit with comfort. The instructions to enter the parking garage were not adequate-GPS uses the address but parking is off another street entirely.

The location of this property is ideal, one block from Waikiki beach and views of ocean and Diamond Head. We rented a car for the entire stay so the free parking was a great bonus. Apparently this unit has recently been revamped as the pictures on line look nothing like the unit now. The major detraction is the curtains do not fully cover the windows and there is no dresser or chest of drawers to put clothes in. If you are making an extended stay this is an inconvenience. We fixed breakfast several times and used the property grills to cook out. There is a supermarket within a couple of miles. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

A very nice unit with a beautiful view towards Diamond Head. Good size, nice to have the kitchenette. Half the furniture is new but the other half is quite dated (my only complaint). Good value overall for expensive Waikiki.

View and location of property, outstanding. However, everything else about this property is poor at best. Carpet - trashed both stained and frayed throughout. Furniture inside and patio - trashed also. Old and faded to the extent I had to use the extra bedspread to sit on the sofa. Patio furniture broken and faded. Bedroom furniture really bad. Got a large splinter in my hand from the heavily cracked surface of the nightstand. I had to replace bulbs as existing were either out or all mismatched wattages. Only1small drinking glass and 1large glass so it was difficult to have a guest for drinks. There is also nowhere to leave luggage at this property if you arrive on an early flight or need to fly late in the day. This needs to be called out in the description. I had to find an offsite location to store my luggage when I arrived for over 4 hrs. The unfortunate thing is that many of the issues I saw had been called out in other reviews and so it’s clear the owner isn't interested in improving the visitor experience here. This is unfortunate, as it wouldn't take much to make this place a truly great experience. While the online pics look great, I would not recommend this property in its current state. Sorry.

I stayed 6nights in wakiki for summer vacation. It was really good time in waikiki banyan. Good location, convenient parking lot, amazing beach close to waikiki banyan. The most impressive thing was beach chair (property owner provided). I fell in love with beach chair and umbrella . Thank you!

We have stayed in Waikiki Banyan before and were excited to stay here. This unit is in tower 1 (which I presume is older than tower 2?). It had a gorgeous view of Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean! Great proximity to Waikiki Beach (walking distance). Up on the 34th floor. It was clean, we had plenty of towels, etc. My complaints: we did not receive check-in instructions (they said they sent them 2 days before our trip, but I had NOTHING in my inbox, junk folder, or through messaging on VRBO.) Luckily, someone was quick to respond to my urgent messages that we were checking in and didn't have any info! All was smooth after that. After checking out, we placed the garage key and parking pass back on the kitchen island, where we found it at check-in, and I received a call from someone saying it hadn't been turned back in and they asked if we mistakenly took it. I told him no, I am 100% positive we put it back. I wrote them through messaging on here asking if they found it and the reply said they hadn't heard from the cleaning crew that it was missing, so they assumed it was found. Also, not this specific unit, but the hallways stunk!! They smelled like ethnic food every day. And the unit itself could use a little updating. The curtains didn't completely cover the windows. The carpet was just kind of stained & dirty in high traffic areas. And the fouton was also a little dirty & worn, but we just put a fitted sheet over it to where we felt comfortable sitting on it. We do have very high standards with having a new custom built home, so take my honesty & nit-picking with a grain of salt! The parking was easy & convenient. All the resorts in Waikiki charge a daily parking fee of around $45, so it was nice to not have to pay extra for that. It was nice having a cute coffee shop in the building. I believe the rental companies are actually on-site, so that's super convenient. The AC worked great & kept our room comfortable. The unit had beach chairs, beach umbrellas, & boogie boards to use (although one of the chairs was broken & one of the boogie boards was broken in 2). We could tell the unit had been cleaned well by the cleaning crew.... it could just use a facelift.

This was our first time using VRBO so we weren't sure what to expect. The bed was incredibly comfortable and all the appliances worked great! We loved all the utensils that were available to use and the dishes. We also really loved the beach gear that was left for us to use! The parking pass and door key for the garage was awesome. It was also very quiet in the unit and we were never bothered by any noise. If we had to pick anything we didn't like, in a constructive criticism kind of way it'd be the low water pressure in the shower, lack of drinking glasses, and that the curtains were not big enough to block the heat in the mornings (on the few times we stayed in in the morning). The outlets seemed like they were an odd shape and didn't fit the standard plugs but the power strip was very helpful. These are very minor things though and the stay was excellent and we would definitely book this unit again!!

We ended up driving to the north shore quite a bit to find beaches we liked more so the location soon became a little urban for us. But it is close to the beach and great food.
