Condo is very nice, plenty of towels and very clean. Check in was a bit rough as the keys and parking pass were not in the lock box. Security at the condo was able to let us in after making several calls. Lei Hawaii Realty did deliver the keys and parking pass that evening and reimbursed parking and gave a credit for the inconvenience. Rest of the week was great but still waiting for the security deposit to be returned as they said it will take 2 weeks for the cleaning people to check the condo.

I would stay in this building again. The location is perfect. Great for walking anywhere you need to go for shopping or food. The food place on the first floor is so good. The view is wonderful. The parking lot is convenient. I would suggest they put in a full size mirror by the front entry door and add more towel hooks. There’s nowhere to dry towels. One of the two towel hooks was missing. There’s also nowhere to put your clothes. You have to live out of your suitcase. All the other pluses of location and convenience made it worth it.

We loved it. Anytime you can find a reasonable condo on the beach is worth it and this place is worth it. The building is undergoing some renovations and you are limited to one elevayor but you make it work. Parking is across the street and it comes with all the amenitoes even a washer and dryer which I didnt know. The bed was king sized so my daughter and I could share, it was great.

The apartment was in a good location and was clean. Having the parking pass for the public parking lot was such a blessing! The artment itself was nice. However, working with the property management company regarding the check-in process was insanely confusing due to unclear communication (pick keys up here, swipe card here, etc) It took us over an hour of driving all over, making phone calls, speaking with multiple people to try and find the reality/property management office, instead of checking in at the actual apartment. The format/font used in confirmation and check-in emails were impossibly small to read and were as long as a novel. Also, the building is under renovation. It was super congested with construction worker, traffic and noise.

If you read the instructions they send you well there will not be a problem checking in to the unit. Their office is located on the 7th floor in downtown Honolulu, park in the structure of the same building as their office go to the 7th floor and enter the code given to you in their instructions on the lock box to get your key fob for parking and getting into the building. The building where you will be staying offers a ten minute parking spot so you can drop off your luggage in your room and then you can park your car in the lot. Use the white card on the Monthly parking spot reader to park and exit and your are all set. The unit is located walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. The beach is very close by, just exit the back of the building and the beach is right there. Recommend you bring water shoes or swim with your sandals as the water is rocky. The Lanai is nice, spent many mornings there looking at the beach. Kitchen is well stocked with most supplies you would need to cook a meal. Bring or buy your own seasoning though. Overall a good experience there. Wish the bedroom window would be upgraded to a dual pane version as outside noise can be distracting at times. The unit could use some touch up paint in certain spots but for the price point it was acceptable. Does have a washer and drier which came in handy inside the unit. Buy your own soap. If going Oahu again, would definitely stay there again.

The good: View of the beach on the patio, walking distance to the beach and the shops. Internet is fast, laundry in the room, parking is close by and we always found a spot. The quality of life is very nice as we didn't have to worry about parking and if we need to use the laundry there's one available in the room instead of the common laundry area. We'll highly consider staying here again.
The bad: We arrived on a Saturday and we went to the designated office to get the key as per the directions but nobody was there. I guess the office is closed on the weekend. They did leave the keys in the lock box at the office, BUT we only found out after a lot of knocking at the door and calling, and then at last we got a hold of Lei Realty.
So if you're arriving on a weekend or holiday I suggest contacting them directly if someone will be in the office or you need to access the lockbox to get the keys. Other than this snafu, our stay was fun and relaxing and the place is great.

CONS: Must go to rental office off Kalakaua to get access for entry. Dropped daughter off (since no parking available) and no one present but lockbox. After call to VRBO, we were advised AFTER of code to unlock lockbox. 2 hour wait to have access keys brought to Waikiki Surf. Minor inconvenience that elevator was out of order. Would stay there again because of wonderful accommodations if access to room was thru lobby and not at rental agency. If you were alone, trying to find a parking place to get to rental agency would be very annoying and frustrating!

I left Voicemails and emails that our parking pass didn’t work! So I ended up paying $75-$100 a day for parking….find out it’s because you guys owed them money and the card was voided!!
I’m out at least $525 just for parking!!! Because of that my family and I had to cancel whale watching to pay for parking!!!!!
I’m livid!!! Never will I use your company again

We loved the location of this condo! Close to the beach, and walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the trolley. The 2nd floor location was a plus -- when the elevator was busy, it was easy enough to take the stairs up/down one floor. The unit is bright and comfortable, and we had everything we needed for our week stay there. There are some things that could be cleaner (like the bedroom window screens), but overall was pretty clean. The only problem we had was getting into the unit. We were advised the day before that we had to pick up the keys at the office, which is only about a 10 minute walk. But with all of our luggage, it was not easy at all! Also, we paid extra to check in before 3pm, but we didn't get the keys and door code until after 1:30, so that was pretty much a waste!Sans the access issues, we would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to friends!

The location is obviously the best feature of this condo along with the parking across the street. Renter beware though. There location is clean however zero hot water and it's bare essentials only. No beach towels which every other condo I have ever rented at Waikiki Shore has provided in the past along with boogie boards. I paid extra for early check in but the management at Lei Realty had me trek over to their office to get the key fobs and parking card. It's not far but not easy to find. Overall it was disappointing but served its purpose. Not what I've come to expect when visiting Oahu.

The photos of the condo were very nice but obviously staged. Couch was soiled very bad and had an oder. No rug, no pillows in living room. No dressers for our clothes. Had to live out of suitcases for the entire stay. But the worst Was the cockroaches we saw and all the pigeon poop on the dirty Lani. This owner needs to invest some money into this property on Waikiki Beach.

Couldn’t get a better location. Step from the condo building onto the sand. Just what we wanted. Three things in particular were lacking in the condo. No luggage racks, no drawers to put your clothes in and no place to hang wet bathing suits and towels.

We enjoyed our stay at Endless Summer. It was very clean, bed was comfortable and location was great! We enjoyed being able to walk to shopping and restaurants. Parking space was a great perk! There is a closet to hang clothes but a simple chest of drawers would be helpful especially for long stays - we will be back!

The one trade-off of being in a popular spot is that it can get rather noisy at night outside, but we were going to bed rather early because we were on East Coast time.

This condo is in a great location. You are close to the beach (just steps out the back gate). You can walk to shops and restaurants on Kalakalua Ave but far enough away to escape the crowds. The decor is really cute and it was well stocked. Management was quick to address the small issues we had and extended out check out time a couple of hours to accommodate our late afternoon flight.

Overall not a bad experience-great view and location at this stay! They provided plenty of items to help keep the place clean for our 8 day stay. (Could use a few more trash bags supplied for longer stays!) The bed was not the best, rock like if you will, but what hotel ranks high here? Haha….Could never get the tv to work for cable or changing input for our switch we brought…they were responsive to my email inquiries, but their troubleshooting was not effective, but it didn’t matter too much. Check in code was initially incorrect and we couldn’t gain access to our room right away after a full day of travel…so that was also a slight inconvenience. Parking is paid for and was nearby, there are lots of shops and eateries nearby too. Other than that- we enjoyed the stay :) Thank you!

Heavy pigeon poop on the lanai. A peek over at the neighbors on each side showed cleaner floors. Inside tile floor was very dirty. My wife likes bare feet inside. They were immediately black. Burnt out light bulbs need replacing. One of two fire alarms were destroyed probably by a past irate tenant. The other one woke us in early morning hours and I climbed up on a chair and disconnected it. Could not get TV to work. Called Lei Realty about that and they offered their sympathies, but no offer to send someone to look at it. We are readers and did not push the issue. It did show how these problems might continue under that management though. The landlord’s feedback service asked for our opinion. They may have made an effort to make changes by now. This was our worst VRBO experience. Neil and Dolores.

Everything was exactly as described and the property managers were very good at communicating ahead of time. One thing I will say is when you arrive you can park right in front of the wakiki shores building to get in the room and get your parking fob and then park across the street in the large lot. We didn’t quite understand where to park initially to get inside the building so I was a little stressed, but everyone was great and it worked out. The beach and park that is right next to the building is very clean and nice. We felt very safe. The ABC store is a block away and had great coffee, drinks, and food. The steak shack in the building-also very good. This place is a very close walk to several restaurants and shops. The parking lot was super handy also. Overall great stay!

Love this place! Good size, nice layout, they have all the basics covered. And the included parking pass was a huge plus. Only downside was the bird activity and droppings on the lanai. It required daily cleaning to keep it usable.

I don't think you can get better value for a unit this close to the beach, with parking included as well. Unit is clean and has everything you need, but is a little dated (as is the whole building). One day it had a problem with hot water, but that was not specific to our unit. Rental agent let us know proactively. Check-in process is simplified vs. some earlier reviews, there is now a number pad lock and they'll email you the code. Getting in and out of the building first and last time is a bit of a performance, without the key fobs needed for the elevator, which are in the unit.
Bring your own beach towels and chairs. AC unit doesn't seem to do much. Earplugs are a good idea if you're a light sleeper, there is some noise generated in the gap to the neighboring building.

Our priority on this vacation was to minimize the time from the room to the center of the beach. This place is ground zero - 30 seconds from room to ankle deep in the Pacific ocean, at the center of Waikiki.
Renting turned out to be a breeze. Lei Realty is easy to work with and they respond to emails promptly and cheerfully.
In and out of the parking lot was very easy and very convenient for our trips to the north and east sides of the island.
Starbucks, ABC market, gelato, misubi all right down the street. Custom acai bowls, smoothies sold inside the building. Steak shack is awesome for a quick dinner for two on the awesome lanai. Watching sunsets with live music frome the lanai and on the beach in front of the condo every night was amazing.
King size bed was perfect for the two of us.
There is a vacuum and a broom in the condo. Comes in handy if you track sand into the condo. Did I mention this condo is ground zero to the beach? There is a handy shower right and surfboard storage area inside the beachfront gated entrance. Sweet.
This place was an amazing value for us. The location was perfect, the weather was awesome. Yes you can hear a lot of chatter through the stuck vented window, but that is easily overlooked considering the tremendous value this place brought us. It was like a dream!

There is not one bad thing to say about our stay. Except the rooster that woke you at he crack of dawn from the Army Museum Property next door. Location Location sure it is not a big name property but it is a hidden GEM. This room you could watch sunsets with the best pictures available. PARKING was less then two minutes away. The staff was very friendly especially my new friend we named Chicago where he was from he left over 40 years ago. Do not make the mistake and not use this location you will regret it when walking a distance to the beach. Next year we will be there again that is a promise.

This property is right on the beach with amazing sunsets from the balcony that overlooks the park and beach. Great breezes all night! Spacious one bedroom! Very comfortable! The property managers did respond to a low battery on the fire alarm, but it took 24 hours. I’m glad it didn’t go off while I was sleeping!! A few broken mechanicals - window shutter and pocket door which I overlooked. I had a great stay at a reasonable price and convenient location!! Mahalo!!

Legit ocean views and steps from the beach at Fort DeRussy park and a 5 minute walk to Waikiki. The building is in the heart of Honolulu, so there's some city noise to contend with in the early mornings. It's a great launching point to explore Waikiki and Honolulu though.

We had a wonderful stay at this very reasonably priced condo! We would stay here again as it was a minute walk to the beach (beach chair at location) and the parking included was a huge plus. The check-in process wasn't super clear, but when calling the manager, he was so friendly and helpful.

The building is situated on Waikiki beach and the apartment overlooks Fort DeRussy park through to the ocean. Located on the second floor, some noise does filter up to the unit, but we didn't find it too disturbing. There were a few minor maintenance items that needed attention (light bulbs, surf rack, etc.), and there was mildew around the bathtub. Otherwise the apartment was spotless. Although directions said there were two apartment and parking fobs, there was just one of each, but that was not a problem for us. We had a problem checking in -- which we attribute to too many email instructions, not all of which contained the full instructions. All-in-all this was a good find.

The property was in an excellent location. one problem--- it was not clean. brown dust and lint on bedroom wall, sand in bathtub, lint in dryer, the stove and microwave also needed cleaning, only two wash clothes for three of us, and no dishclothes. we bought what we needed and cleaned then it was good. My husband and I visited last weekend for our belated honeymoon and this location was amazing! Literally steps from the beach! The steak shack behind the hotel had amazing food for lunch and there was even a little ice cream and shaved ice place too. Having to get into the room to get the parking fob before being able to park was a little frustrating (wish there was a key pad or way to be let in at the parking lot itself) but overall this place was great! And we were just glad it had designated parking because parking in Waikiki can be nuts!

The condo is conveniently located if you're looking to hang out in the general Waikiki area and is a good home base for day trips out to the leeward or windward sides. Included parking across the street is also a big plus. I'd say the condo was clean-ish. Everything was tidy, but the couch and rocking chair has visible wear/stains. The shower also had visible mold in the corners and shower door rail, and the shower head was also stained. The A/C unit did its job for the most part, but we did have to keep the curtains closed most of the day because it would quickly warm up with the afternoon sun. The biggest knock I had was how noisy it was. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the windows in the bedroom and bathroom are glass shutters that lets every sound in. Not so much an issue during the day but quite disturbing at night; earplugs worked like a charm, though. Overall, it was a decent place to stay and the property managers were detailed with their instructions & prompt with their replies.

Check in process was a breeze, parking was so convenient, and everything was close by. The room was as pictured, and we were comfortable in the room. The downside is the building is older, and the windows in the bedroom and bath are glass shutters that let the noises in from the outside. If you are a light sleeper this would be an issue. Also, a piece of the shutter was missing in the bathroom, so it also let the warm humid air inside (we kept the door closed so it was contained). Some switches were broken, so we couldn’t leave the living room fan on if we wanted to shut the light. Overall it was decent place to stay

I'm still amazed we were able to reserve this spot. Bright, cheerful, super-clean and well-stocked 1 bedroom literally feet away from the beach. Perfect for active couple looking for base camp. Very short walk to everything - Ft DeRussy park, Kalakaua for shops and restaurants, TheBus stops at Ft DeRussy next door. Surprisingly quiet at night, so easy to sleep (and sleep in). We're seasoned Hawaii travellers - highly recommend.

We enjoyed that we were so close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
Wish we had a second tv in bedroom- but enjoyed the multiple channels and netflix in living room.
