Owners Terry & Penny are easy to work with from booking to check in process.
Central location to downtown and the main tourist area. Walkable to a lot of spots.
Underground parking keeps the car cool.
Unit is stocked with everything needed to start your stay - just add groceries.
In unit washer/dryer is a great plus.
Work area with printer and solid WiFi.
Lanai is outfitted for comfort and dining with a cute fountain.
View out the lanai is of Pancho & Lefty’s, which is worth a visit.
No pesky coqui or chicken noise, but garbage day is 7 am Friday below the unit - fyi.
Definitely recommend and would stay again.

My wife and I came to Kona for some much needed R & R after a long trying year. This condo is PERFECT !! Location, amenities, great hosts (Terry and Penny), my wife and I had such a good time! Close to restaurants (Try Poncho & Lefty's!) Friday prime rib is wonderful, Close to shopping, stores, vacation excursions (don't need a car), this place is amazing! We hated to leave, but we will be back !!

Perfect location! I stayed at this condo for Ironman. It was less than 10min walk to the pier. Lots of restaurants nearby. The condo was very clean. The condo has central A/C, fast wifi, & comfortable beds. Property manager was great. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The check in and property information process was difficult at first but the owner resolved it very quickly and was available by phone. We would highly recommend staying at this place.

We were very satisfied with the Condo amenities - completely set up for self contained stay. Main amenities included - comfortable bed, laundry, cooking needs, sofa area, etc. We were pleased to experience the many other details such as decoration, kitchen details (blender, spices, paper towels and more) and condo size. The Lanai was enjoyable for early morning coffee - something we can't do back home!
The location was ideal to experience Kona and the ocean with it's many changes from high to low tide - a short 3 minute walk. A swimming beach is nearby. The many restaurants, coffee shops, food stores and tourism shops a short walk away were a joy. We rented a car for part of our stay to experience the island, walked and used the local trolley to experience Ali'i Drive.
All in all - the condo very much satisfied our needs during our stay

Nice accommodations, centrally located..but construction within the complex and traffic on side road are noisy! Patio was nice but too much traffic to enjoy sitting outside. Construction should be noted in the online reservation, jack hammering was unbearable!

I'm torn to leave a less than stellar review of this location. The location is within a short-ish walk to anything a person would want to do while staying in Kona. The condo is beautiful and includes most anything a person would need to make a meal if needed. The morning noise from the alley is kinda startling at times due to trash pick up by the restaurant and due to being near several bars, there can be the typical noise from arguing patrons late at night, to occasional loud music. There was some ongoing construction / maintenance when we arrived and jack hammering sounds could be heard all during the day during the week. This all culminated with it taking place right above our condo on Friday. VERY loud jackhammering started at 7AM???? and did not stop until about 1030 or 11AM. It vibrated the entire condo. I realize this is part of owing/renting a place like this however, I do wish we would've been notified this work was going take place during our stay and we could've considered an alternate location or a reduced rate. All that said, it is very beautiful and easy access for anyone to get anywhere on Alii

My girlfriend and I loved this place. A lot of attention to detail. It includes many things that you will need in Hawaii: beach towels, beach chair and umbrella, etc. The living room plus kitchen are spacious and comfortable. The balcony is lovely. Overall pretty good. The only thing is to be careful with food leftovers because roaches can appear. Make sure you plug the kitchen sinks overnight.

I recently spent 55 nights at this property. I don't drive and appreciated being within an easy walk to the beach and grocery stores. There are many restaurants just a stroll away. Underground parking is included if you have a car. (The local bus stops right outside the building)
The unit has air conditioning, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and reliable WiFi. The owner is on-island and is very gracious and responsive. Just about everything I look for in a home away from home is here.

My wife and I have a great stay at this unit in Kona Plaza for month. Terry and Penny we wonderful hosts and were very quick to respond to any questions we had. The unit was the perfect spot for exploring the Kailua Kona area and is within a short walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in the Kona area. If you like Mexican food, make sure you visit Poncho and Lefty’s right next door to Kona Plaza. The unit was very clean, and the large lanai filled with tropical plants was a great spot to enjoy your morning Kona coffee, evening meals and drinks. The kitchen has everything you need during your stay. The heated pool area was great to cool off on the days we didn’t want to go to one of the many beaches in the area. I would definitely stay in this unit again the next time we return to the Big Island.
