This bright, spacious Studio was ideal for my solo 10 day getaway in Waikiki. The on line photos are very accurate & the space suited my short term needs.
The disappointment was arriving at midnight & having a key code entry lock that did not work. After several phone calls & about 1 hour later I was let in. Unfortunately the code lock system was an on going problem for 2 days & then I had to be given a key.
The Midway management team were very courteous & followed up as needed, but the the 2 day problem & stress with the lock is why I only give this accommodation a 4 rating.

It was a fun place and a pretty good location at a good price. There were a few areas that I think could be improved.
The garbage can lid wouldn't open properly.
The bathroom door doesn't quite slide properly, so if you close it too much it gets stuck and you can't reopen it. This was a big pain.
The outside sliding glass door doesn't lock.
The shower got clogged while we were there, and we had to manually unclog it. It seems like that's happened to several other guests.
The soap/shampoo seems to all be in bottles that say they're expired. When we asked for more soap when we ran out, it's required to pay which is kind of annoying. We ended up just buying our own soap and shampoo since the provided ones weren't very good anyways.
The windows don't really close all the way, so you can hear everything outside all night, and there are constantly sirens going. The window type seems to be common in Hawaii, so not sure if there's anything to be done.
The clock ticking is pretty loud in the middle of the night if there are no other sounds.
The TV didn't really have any input cables, it would have been nice to have an HDMI cable or something to plug devices into.
We arrived a couple hours early to see if we could check in. The previous tenants were somehow still there. We went to eat and when we came back, it seemed like they had done a rush job on the cleaning. The shower in particular was kind of gross. This was probably the least appealing part of the stay.
On the plus side, if anyone wants to go snorkeling, we left snorkel gear in the beach chair :)

This property is in the perfect location- next to a ton of shops, and just a couple blocks off of Waikiki beach, which we LOVED! Check in process was probably easier than getting into my own house back home (lol) and management was in constant communication to make sure I didn’t need anything else. The place was clean and very up to date. It didn’t matter to us, but parking is a first-come, first-serve basis on this property. You have to keep checking in with the front desk to see if there are parking spaces available. If so, it’s $40/night. Like I said before, this property is right where everything else is that you would even need, so skip the car if you can. To be completely transparent, we had a rental car with us and got lucky with parking spaces for the few days we were there, but our car didn’t move once because everything was within walking distance.

If we ever go to Oahu again, we would want to stay in this exact property! We loved the 15th floor balcony. It was clean and as advertised. The only thing we would like more of would be more than one packet of coffee. Thank you for making our trip so outstanding!

My boyfriend and I stayed a week at this unit. Location is convenient and walkable to everything in Waikiki. Check-in was easy, the photos of the rental are accurate. No more than two people max should consider booking as it is quite "cozy." The only challenging things were finding parking at night and the 10a check out time. We didn't think paying the daily parking rate was worth it. If you plan on staying primarily in Waikiki, this is a good place to rent.

The Studio was clean and in a safe area. Five minutes walking to Waikiki Beach. TheBus #20 to Airport and Arizona Memorial stops on the corner.

Stayed here for 3 glorious weeks while my daughter was in a program at the University. I loved the lanai and views. The neighborhood was great and within easy walking distance of all the great restaurants, coffee shops and beaches. The pool was small which was perfect for someone preferring a quiet place to relax. It was hard to leave!

We had an amazing time at this property! I slept on the futon, and the futon was quite comfortable. I like hard beds though. A simple mattress topper would fix that though. It was very clean and had most everything we needed. The full fridge was awesome! AC worked wonderfully and the lanai was nice to dry out swimsuits. Parking was not great but it isn’t great in Waikiki. We ended up parking at the sunset (behind banyon) because they only let non hotel guests buy a spot after 4pm which means there aren’t any available most days.
All in all I would def recommend this property! Location was fantastic! Thanks for a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay! It was in a good neighborhood and close to the main strip and beach. Parking was difficult. We were often forced to walk several blocks at the end of the day back to our condo. Overall, we had a great time.

The stay was great, location was great, and the listing matched the room. The only problem was the shower clogged on Wednesday night. I texted the property manager about it. They texted back asking if it was OK for someone to come by the room when we were out. I replied saying that was fine. A few minutes later I texted with another question that was resolved quickly. When we returned back to the apartment the shower was still clogged. At this point I called the property manager. They said that they didn't notice the replying text stating a handyman could be in the residence, and said someone would be put the next day because it was nearly 5pm. I had to argue to get the matter resolved that night so my wife and I could shower that night. They did send out a handy man shortly after I complained, but if I had not complained, they were fine with leaving us over 24 hours without the ability to shower.

This was my first time using a VRBO as I wanted the best deal possible and the local hotels just weren't cutting it. The pictures are highly accurate and the whole studio was cozy, adorable, and very comfortable.
The only complaint I have is that the parking situation was not fully described. I do not know if this has changed since the listing was made or is a new thing due to Covid, but here is the reality: At the time of my trip (4/2/22-4/8/22) the parking was indeed $35 per day, but there is a catch. Since this studio is a privately owned property, parking is only available if the hotel's customers have not taken them all. In addition to that, guests in private suites must vacate their parking spot at 12PM and cannot inquire about a new spot until 4PM.
We never had a problem with finding a spot, and we used this location as a jumping off point to see the rest of the island, so we never bumped up against the 12PM parking spot "checkout" time so to speak. I could see this becoming an issue for those who rent a car but plan to stick to Waikiki.
Overall I would stay here again in the future or with other properties under the Midway brand.

We had a wonderful week staying here, the suite provided us with everything we needed. Close to downtown, restaurants, the beach and much more. We rented a car at the hotel across the street stress free. We recommend this rental suite and would stay here again. Thank you

Description and reviews are accurate. Good value given close proximity to the beach. We loved the bath towels shaped as swans when we arrived. Comfy. Not a lot of space but great use of sq. footage. Thank you!

The property was what I needed for myself and the kids- a place to sleep and shower, and it was close to the beach. The realty company was also good at communicating about the check-in and check-out process. The downside was the building under construction next door, which made it a bit noisy.
