Halii Kai is the premier complex in Waikoloa and 14c is the premiere condo in Halii Kai! Activity closet is fully stocked, umbrellas, chairs and everything needed for a good time. All you need to do is go to the store for food and drink and you are set!

Beautiful views from this amazing condo that offered everything we could possibly need. Our family stayed here for 2 weeks and loved every minute of it. The entire property is perfect - quiet pool area, great restaurant on site, close to shopping and dining, and plenty of room for our family of 5. We also loved being able to use the Hilton pool next door. When we went to the beach we had everything we needed at the condo including the boogie boards. Can’t wait to come back.

The property was fully stocked with everything we needed. We have visited the Big Island for the past three summers and this was one of the best properties we have seen. The location was close to our favorite beach, Hapuna Beach, and the view was great for sitting on the patio. The added bonus of the Hilton access was a great surprise. Our kids loved the pools and water slides. It was big enough for our family of four and the pool and bar area was a very close walk. We would definitely come back!

Two couples stayed in this lovely condo with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped and we used it often. So nice having the BBQ right on the lanai! We had a few broken things, but the manager attended to them promptly and although not all could be fixed while we were there, they were not such a big deal that we didn't already book for next year. We can't wait to come back!

Our family loved our stay at Peggy’s property. The location was perfect with ocean view and steps away from the pool and restaurant. The unit was spotless and appliances up to date. The unit is well stocked with beach toys, chairs, etc. Hilton pool passes were a nice bonus and only a 10 minute ocean front walk. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay! It was perfect for our family of 4. The condo is in an amazing location, right on the ocean and steps from the Ocean Club pool and on-site restaurant. It was also close to many incredible beaches, as well as restaurants and shopping. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the sunset. The condo was beautifully furnished, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. And the activity closet was great. There are chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, snorkel gear and more - so much fun! The pool is beautiful, and the Ocean Club restaurant was great. We also made use of the included passes for the Hilton pools nearby. We would love to stay here again!

Overall the stay was good. The patio pictures online showed a sink and counter but actually there is a new very large Weber grill. The unit is very nice, well decorated and comfortable. We were never able to get the bedroom TVs working, they have lots of equipment hooked up and supposedly there were instructions in the drawer but we couldn't find any. The password provided for the computer didn't work either. Overall though, beautiful location and property.

My husband and I (along with our two children--ages 12 and 14) have stayed at various VRBO properties over the years and this property by far was the absolute best! It was just perfect from the location and breathtaking views right outside your door to the immaculately clean interior with perfectly appointed dish/glass ware, household basics and snorkel/free-time play items. Peggy was super easy to work with, too. Do not hesitate to book this property. You'll love it! We miss it already!

The owner provided everything to make our stay enjoyable. There was a closet full of beach furniture and "toys". The towels and linens were of high quality as were the appliances. There were fans in the bedrooms and an excellent air conditioning system. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

My husband and I spent the last 3 nights of our big island adventure at this very nice condo. What we loved about it was the location proximity to great beaches (15 minute drive to to two of our favorites). And the little ocean club on this property was just a treat. Great bar and restaurant and pool. Sunset at the club was fun with torch lighting and call with the conch shell.
Condo itself was really comfortable and the bed was awesome. Has absolutely everything you could need for your stay. The only surprise we had was the $20 a day resort fee that I did not see
Mentioned anywhere before.
All in all a great stay would stay there again.

Great experience from the very thorough communications from Peggy before the trip to the actual unit itself during the trip. It is very updated and kitchen and recreation closet have everything you’d ever need. We loved sitting on the lanai and playing cards as a family while looking at the ocean.

This condo was absolutely beautiful in every way. The decor, the appliances, the VIEW, everything. Every morning we has coffee on the patio looking at the beautiful ocean. And every evening had wine on that same patio gazing at the sunset. Peggy has gone above and beyond when it comes to vacation get a ways. The property is stunning. The pool is fantastic. The restaurant adjacent to the pool is superb. We will definitely be staying in this condo again. But that's only after we try out some of Peggy's other properties ! My family gives this vaca spot a 5 star rating for sure! Thank you to Peggy for giving us a much needed rest in the most beautiful place!

This property had great views! The development is very nice. Otherwise, everything else about this unit is just okay. The beach equipment was well stocked and the kitchen had a decent amount of condiments stocked.
We had to deal with a washer repairman and a recently repaired shower ceiling. The owner also reneged on an agreement to a late checkout (for an initial fee)

The Hali’i Kai at Waikōloa community is so nice. Gated entry, great pool & clubhouse with bar and restaurant for lunch & dinner. Enjoy amazing sunsets with a cocktail or dinner. Also a nice workout room near the pool.
The condo was spotless, well furnished and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Peggy was a great and responsive host. Highly recommend!

The Hali’i Kai location is such a gem on the Kigali coast. Sunsets at the club are quite something. As for the unit itself, I have never stayed in such a clean, modern, well-appointed, and overall exceptional unit. The owner was beyond kind with unexpected perks. I would rate this a 6 out of 5. Apt 14c at Hali'i Kai was just splendid, made all the better by our warm, accessible, gracious hostess Peggy. We chose this condo based on a sense of hospitality from Peggy, and that hospitality continued through our stay.
First: this is without compare the best equipped vacation property we have ever stayed in. Ever. The Fun Closet included everything you could need or want, from chairs to snorkels to boogie boards and a cooler. The kitchen had high end appliances and little touches like ziploc bags. Just completely equipped.
The condo itself is beautiful and magnificently maintained. Dinners at sunset with the lava field and wide ocean. Perfect. Comfy furniture, a brilliant new TV, new high end grill, healthy mattresses, just great.
And of course the location is perfect -- this is your front-row lounge chair on paradise.
Hali'i Kai is also great - beautiful pool with a friendly staff, and well-located to reach beautiful beaches, interesting cultural attractions (eg petroglyphs), a well-stocked market, etc.
We had night after night of excellent family and friend time, in exquisite luxury with a spectacular view. We will be back!

Had an excellent time at 14C. Hanging in the patio/lawn directly in front of ocean was the best - spent way more time at the unit then I thought we would. More cooking supplies than anyone would know what to do with. Huge closet stuffed with games, beach supplies, etc. very communicative host. Thanks Peggy!

This condo is by far the best equipped condominium rental we have ever experienced. Peggy’s place has everything you will need to enjoy your stay and more. The whole development is lovely and Peggy’s place I s one of the few with ocean directly outside the rear veranda.
We ended up eating many meals at the Beach Club because a. It is a 1 minute walk and b. Because the food and service are excellent!
This condo is worth every penny. Plenty of room for 4 BTW although my wife and I stayed here alone.

Wow, what an experience. First of all, I would like to start saying that this was our first trip to Hawai'i Big island. We are a family of 4 and this condo was PERFECT for our needs. The place is very well maintained and we liked the gated community access. The unit 14C is one of the best in the entire complex, due to it's location (ocean front view from the lanai) and proximity to the pool/restaurant/workout room.
The condo is simply a home away from home and we immediately felt comfortable. Our teenage children loved the lanai and the salt water pool with the restaurant and my husband could not get enough of the Jacuzzi with the therapeutic crushed rocks. There were a fair amount of people at the pool in the evening, but after 7 pm most of the people would be gone. The bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable matrices!!! I really liked the idea of a squeegee to remove the hard water from the shower door, and guess what...I bought 2 squeegee for my own shower door since it is way faster to remove the water and leave the door clean after each shower...so THANK YOU for this suggestion, it really helped us as well.
Now, we ended up eating at the pool restaurant almost every evening. Let me tell you that the food was EXCELLENT!!! Nowhere on the big Island the food is better. I was obsessed with Ahi Poke, but my children and husband tried mostly all the food, which was great as well. The drinks were fabulous as well, and the happy hour from 2-5 pm was a plus ;).
I have to say, that we might consider returning back to this place if we'll ever visit Hawai'i again! We usually don't go to the same country/island twice for vacation, but this really impressed us.
So thank you for the opportunity, we really enjoyed our stay!!!

My husband and I booked Peggy's unit 14c for our 20th wedding anniversary and I can honestly say that her unit was amazing. We both felt like it was a home away from home. She had everything and more that we could have asked for including the view. The condo was everything we expected and more. Highly recommend it to anyone. The Halii Kai resort itself was beautiful, we spent a lot of time at the pool which was spectacular and the resort by the pool was great. We also dinned at Lava Lava Beach club a few times the food was really good, We also went to Ulu restaurant at the four seasons hotel for our anniversary dinner and it was amazing, the food, drinks and services was 5 star made our anniversary really special. All in all Peggy's condo was by far excellent 5 stars Peggy, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.

this property was in an excellent location and was very well stocked with everything from coffee to snorkel gear- there wasn't anything we needed that we couldn't find inside the condo. great proximity to the pool and gym- which my husband and I utilized daily. there were quite a few families with kids when we went to the pool, but you couldn't hear any noise while sitting out on our lanai. we were also able to see some whales spashing in the ocean as we had our morning coffee. also, great shopping, beach access, and restaurants within the Waikoloa village.

This condo was an idyllic vacation home in a beautiful private community. Sunsets on the ocean right off our Lenai were breathtaking. We even saw a number whales right from our breakfast table. The condo itself was stocked with everything a family could need...large fluffy beach towels, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, coolers, sunscreen bug spray--everything! We loved the multi head shower in the master bath, and as a avid cook, I loved the wolf appliances and sub-zero fridge. A+ al the way. We will be back!!

Peggy's Hali'i Kai 14c condo allows one to experience what an island escape is! This condo is in one of only three buildings that are oceanfront properties. We enjoyed breakfast, sunsets, and whale sightings daily from our lanai. This was our fifth visit to this condo and each year we have found it clean and inviting. The immense number of amenities is phenomenal! Everything a visitor could want, Peggy has provided from four sets of snorkel gear, beach chairs and towels to toys, batteries, books and videos to an espresso machine, and a full supplied kitchen down to the spices. The condo is well taken care of and offers everything for each guest. The condo is close to several tremendous beaches and island attractions. What keeps us coming back is Peggy's helpfulness ans caring and the spectacular view from the unit. Mahalo, Peggy!

All the great things previous reviewers have stated are absolutely true. We had zero issues during our stay. The condo is in immaculate shape and stocked beyond what I expected. As jet lagged honeymooners, it was nice to arrive to a Keurig machine (stocked with Starbucks pods), drip coffee maker (with some Kona coffee provided!), espresso machine, a laptop for guest use, and a few cold beers in the fridge.
Peggy was easy to get in touch with and provided detailed instructions for everything. Everything we needed for our stay was emailed to us days ahead of time making our check-in at the Halii Kai front office a literal 3 minute process.
The first thing we noticed on arrival was how peaceful and serene the Halii Kai property is. It is absolutely beautiful at this location. This particular condo is on the ground floor with units on either side as well as above us, so I was worried about potential thin walls and loud neighbors. I am crazy sensitive to noise from neighbors in hotels to the extent that my wife thinks I am nuts and/or hearing things, but we never heard a peep! The pool, bar/grill, and exercise area are basically next door which was really convenient. Noise was also not a factor even with those common areas being so close. Yay!
The only thing I will state for anyone considering renting this unit (and you should definitely consider this unit!) is that if I had a few kids along for the trip I may consider another resort. This is not a knock on Halii Kai, but the general vibe seems to be grown-ups relaxing in a quiet atmosphere. The property rules for the pool area go as far to explicitly state there is no playing in the pool, pool toys, splasing, jumping/diving, yelling, etc. While this may sound sort of extreme, I must say it was actually really nice!!! The pool was never crowded and its not like the staff treat the place like a library or monastery, but it was nice to relax pool side and not have an army of kids doing cannonballs or running around. If your kids are well-behaved and don't care about the Typhoon Lagoon type waterpark feel of the bigger resorts, you will be absolutely fine.
I look forward to returning to the Big Island and Halii Kai in the near future!

The Hali'I Kai area was very impressive. This is a very clean, we'll landscaped, top notch condo resort. The unit itself was just as impressive. It came equipped with everything a family needs to enjoy a day at the beach from ice chests to boogie boards, chairs, beach towels, umbrellas etc. The unit also has various coffee machines, a laptop which I used to print boarding passes, and even comes with enough shampoo and soap to get you through the first couple nights. It has an awesome location with ocean right out the back door and paths leading along the coast to the Hilton. It is very close to the pool as well. We have rented many condos/homes and this one ranks at the top. Peggy is very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. She has thought of everything to make your stay a pleasant one. We will be back.

My wife, two daughter, and I just returned from this outstanding condo. Peggy was wonderful to work with from start to finish. We have rented other condos both at Hali Kai and Kolea and by far this was the best experience all the way around. The location of the condo is amazing with million dollar views. It is walking distance to the ocean club, where you can grab a bite to eat, swim, watch the sun set, or just relax. The Condo is extremely clean and is equipped with everything you could possible need. The activity closet was perfect and had everything we needed for trips to Hapuna Beach, which included boogie boards, four beach chairs, two umbrellas, snorkels, and other games and equipment. The Mauna Kea Beach is also very nice, but you must get there by 8:30 AM because the parking fills up fast. I can not say enough good things about this condo and Peggy. We hated leaving, and will be returning next year for another great vacation. There is no need to look at other condos, this is the one to book!!

This condo is outstanding! Peggy has thought of everything! The condo is immaculately clean. Not sure what you could possibly need that is not provided. We took advantage of the "closet full of toys"....snorkels for all four of us (2 adults/2 kids), boogie boards, coolers (even ice packs), binoculars! We have saved tons of money just on that stuff alone. We've spoken with people staying in nearby hotels who spent a fortune just to get the basic stuff for beach days. Not us! Beach chairs (top quality), beach umbrellas....we are so grateful for all of it! The pool is beautiful...we especially enjoy the spa (with a layer of warm sand on the bottom!) every evening under the stars. Hali'Kai is very peaceful. We can't get over how quiet it is. I could go on and on and on about how fabulous this place is. Peggy adds all the extra touches that make a huge difference in your stay! If I could give SIX stars, I would! Thanks Peggy!!!!
