This condo is located on one of Maui's best beaches for swimming. The unit was well apponted, nicely furnished, spacious and even came with a view of the ocean. The condo was clean and well-mainted. We couldnt have hoped for a better vacation rental.

Hale hui Kai is my favorite place on Maui! Condo 307 was excellent with only one small exception. My family loves to spend evenings playing games and hanging out but the couch is very uncomfortable.

Family of 4, stayed for a week in #307. Our place was clean, well appointed. Such easy access to a very lovely bit of the beach. We’re already daydreaming about coming back and would 100% stay here again.

This was the first time staying in this unit. The partial ocean view from the balcony was perfect for whale watching in the morning and afternoon. Updated unit was nice. Not all units have been updated. AC was a plus. Only "complaints" were that the hot water ran out quickly but not a huge deal and it would have been nice to have boogie boards/noodles/sand toys available. Some units have them, others don't. There was one mishap during our stay. The ceiling in the common area of the property fell about 1 min after walking through. The overall property could use some upkeep.

We had a great vacation at HHK...everything went well and when something didn't...there was quick follow-up. The room (307) was perfect; almost everything you would need for a beach vacation...but could do with some beach accessories (ie beach cooler or maybe a boogie board)...really insignificant...can hardly wait for next year.

Kitchen needs more cutlery (bowls, plates, silverware)lights in master bath need replacing with brighter ones, the same as small bath. Bryce dropped off new bulbs.controller for fan in living room needs fixing. Couldn't turn-off or adjust fanJalasy glass panels in front door need replacing.AC in small bedroom makes loud noise at end of the cycle-sounds like ice dropping in a ice maker. AC guy looked at it but did not resolve.Sliding glass door does fit to frame and creates a gap.

We liked the condo a lot! Plenty of room for couple with 2 grown sons. King bed was very comfortable but the twins were a bit hard. Access to the pool and beach were fantastic! Very convenient to have the condo close by to run back and get whatever we forgot. Highly recommend.

Perfect location for beach, swim, snorkle, sunsets, shopping in a low key atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and parking is easy, trash and laundry are accessible. The condo was equipped with necessary items to keep clean but no staples with food- likely because of the small ant problem. Hard to have a humid climate without bugs, otherwise the unit was beautiful and immaculate. You never know with Vrbo what you are getting/ but this unit is accurate in description . We will be staying here again!

We're been coming back to the spot for many years and had another great trip with the family this year. Our unit was recently updated and very comfortable. The beach chairs were missing when we checked in but i mentioned it to Bryce with the management company and he took care of it right away. We'll be back next year - doesn't get any better than this beach!

This was a great property to stay on the beach. OK place to snorkel right at the beach. Based on the time of year, we wound up driving to the West Coast for an even better snorkeling spot. Close to Molokini Crater if you plan on doing that. Unit not over the top but very nice. Family friendly. Restaurants/shops nearby. Good location.

FairVery nice condo was clean for the most part. Killed 2 cockroaches and master bedroom AC was broken and fixed later that day. Livingroom AC was not working very good. I have tried to call office regarding I left my FIRESTICK REMOTE FOR TV ON THE TABLE. NO ANSWER FROM OFFICE.

This is right on the beach and has a pool. Love the Wailua area, We had a great experience here. Close to the airport, restaurants and shopping. The surroundings are beautiful and safe for early morning walks/runs on paths behind condo or beach front. The condo was clean, bed was comfortable and had a view we did not expect. Parking was easy. If your looking for peaceful quiet and pure relaxation, this is it.

Property was clean and in good condition. I would say that sleeping 6 would be a stretch. What would have been nice would information on local restaurants and activities. I would definitely recommend this property for future visits.

You’ve been coming for 25 years to this property and we stayed in #307 for the last 15 years. We last stayed in this unit in 2019. Since then the unit has been remodeled. The kitchen is beautiful. Unfortunately the living room has traded incredibly comfortable furniture for sleek looking and uncomfortable chairs and couch. The couch can be turned into a futon where two additional people couldn’t comfortably sleep. I wouldn’t put 6 people in this unit unless they change the furniture and provide more than plates and cutlery for 4. The management used to be friendly and and welcoming. It now seems Less so. The move-in time has changed from 3 to 4 PM with no exceptions. Our friends were told they couldn’t even leave their luggage while they went shopping even though the unit was clean and ready. Another resident told us they asked for more toilet paper and were refused. The management lost a bit of their aloha in the pandemic. It’s still a great property on a great beach and a good unit for 4 and we will return.

We hadn't been to Maui to stay at Hale Hui Kai in over 10 years. It was just as magical as we remembered. The grounds are well groomed and condo unit has been updated, clean pool. Definitely a trip to remember.
