We had a Great Stay at this location and it was the perfect home base for our trip to Kauai. Everything is as advertised and the balcony view and sound of the surf was amazing. The accommodations and rooms were updated and kitchen was very convenient for bringing in your own groceries. A/C was Great and kept it cool. Highly recommend.

The only thing I would say to be careful about was the homeless population around the area (but probably the same no matter where you are on the island) although no problems on the actual condo property. We have stayed at 5 other apartments in this building over the years and they were all nice , but this one is exceptional. The owners maintain everything to a high standard and it is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean . The bed is very comfortable, it is very well equipped and has everything you could possibly need . Communication with the owners was extremely quick and easy . The location is perfect for visiting all areas of the island , and walking distance to lots of restaurants and amenities . I hope to visit and stay here again in the future . I would 100% highly recommended this lovely apartment .

The unit we stayed in was very clean with everything we needed from cook wear, to paper towels, linens and toilet paper. It was wonderful sitting with the deck doors open to hear the water or sitting on the deck and just being. It is a good location in proximity to shop walking and alternate restaurants, I felt safe and there are cameras everywhere. Checking in be out was a breeze, the complex manager was very kind and we had a wonderful vacation and stay. We would definitely stay at this unit and on the property again for sure! I also used the pool which was very clean with plenty off lounge chairs and bathrooms right there too. Thank you to our hosts, we will be back!

This condo has a fresh clean appearance and feel. We followed the host’s recommendations regarding trash removal and avoiding storing paper bag & we didn’t have any problems with pests.
The condo is comfortably furnished. There are two small a/c units to help keep you cool. We did briefly lose power for about an hour, not sure how often this happens on the island but I do recommend locating the flashlight ahead of time in case you need it.
In regards to amenities, we felt the local guide book, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler & snorkeling gear were a thoughtful & much appreciated touch. The condo has the basic kitchen items as one would expect as well as coffee, filters, salt, pepper, olive oil & a few spices.
The condo is nicely situated between the North & South shores making both of them an easy drive. Be aware, the North shore is very expensive. Speaking of expenses, I recommend you sign up for the Safeway card if you’re buying groceries to save a few bucks.
We spent much of our time on the South & West side of the Island. Poipu beach has great snorkeling & wild life. We found Kauai Brewing had a great selection of good beer, Napoli brewing which is right across the street from the condo, wasn’t quite the same.
All & all this was a great clean conveniently located condo. Hosts were attentive. Would highly recommend!!

You cannot stay in a home any closer to the ocean than this condo. Watching surfers and boogie boarders play in the waves from a very private lanai is just one of the reasons we enjoyed our stay.
It was very warm and humid during our time in Kauai. That came as no surprise. But, given the proximity to the ocean we were surprised by the lack of a breeze in the condo. We appreciated the fans provided by the owners. Just be aware that this condo is very stuffy. Other reviewers have mentioned the heat, but we were unconcerned until we experienced it. I’m sure that visitors during the winter will not have this problem. The owner also mentioned that they would fix or replace the bedroom air conditioner that was not consistently working.
We liked the nice clean and updated kitchen. The owners provided nice olive oil and several spices. I liked the brand new towels provided for us. We used the beach umbrella and chairs and were grateful.

Pefect location for all the things we wanted to do around the island. Love hearing the crashing waves with the slinding doors open. The condo had everything we needed. Egidio and Cheryl's property was exceptional. Having never visited Kauai before, I did a substantial amount of research before booking a stay. I couldn't have made a better decision. The property was beautiful inside and out, featuring a stunning view and a spacious lanai. The property was fully stocked and remodeled, which made staying here incredibly comfortable and easy. The location was perfect, as we were in between everything, and within walking distance to Coconut Marketplace (which features a farmers market on certain days) and several other attractions. Most importantly, as someone who has had negative experiences with vacation rentals, Egidio and Cheryl were very communicative and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for better hosts and a better place to stay, and I look forward to staying here again in the future!

Beautiful view on a nice uncrowned beach. You can hear the waves steadily crashing in since it’s so close. The place is nicely updated and clean. AC in the bedroom but the rest of it doesn’t have it, so be prepared to use the fans since it’s fairly warm and humid. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The hosts were responsive to inquiries and quick to share excursion suggestions. The unit was clean and the lanai had a great oceanfront view; really relaxing to hear the waves crashing on shore. It was also private from other units. The only negative was a biggie - no central A/C, so it got unbearably hot and humid in the living space and the bathroom, even with a few fans going on high (my wife got heat rash). We did stay in July during a hot stretch. The bedroom was cooler because of the individual A/C unit, but it was very noisy. The pool was a great reprieve from the heat and usually not too packed (no hot tub). Also, snorkeling gear was provided but only one of the three sets didn't allow water to seep in. Hiking sticks were provided that were very helpful. In-unit washer/dryer was nice, and detergent was provided. Coffee too, in a nicely renovated kitchen. Only downside of the stay was the heat; we would avoid during the summer but consider again the rest of the year.

We love coming to Wailua Bay View. We have stayed here on numerous other occasions. The condo was neat and tidy. Appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear, hiking poles, pool noodles. Also, there were some spices and cooking necessities provided. I am a “sticky rice” eater, so would’ve loved to have had a rice cooker available but not a big deal. Edigio was very responsive to any questions I had before the stay. Will definitely be back! The condo was clean and had all of the supplies/ amenities that we needed for our stay. The photos truly represent the accommodations. The renovation is something out of an HGTV home show. It is clean, modern, cohesive in design and furnishings, and amply stocked with kitchen wares and beach gear. Nothing has the look or feel of the normal wear and tear one usually sees in a rental. There were even walking sticks and boogie boards available to use. The view was gorgeous and beaches were in walking distance. The king sized bed was comfortable and firm while the AC made the temperature easy to fall asleep. To be honest, just sitting in the living room listening to the ocean is peaceful. Passion Bakery which is the most excellent local bakery was just across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

This was an amazing property. The location was beautiful with a balcony right on the water. What made this condo so special was the thoughtfulness of the owner. We would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect to go north or south. Good access to beaches, coffee shop and Coconut Marketplace. We had coffee on the linai each morning as the sun came up. Beach towels, chairs, cooler and snorkeling gear all available to use. It was clean, comfortable and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay here. Condo is located on the corner of Wailua Bay with great access to the highway and walking to shops and eateries nearby. The location was ideal for exploring the south and north ends of the island. The condo has a great view of the ocean. We saw a monk seal eating fish our first moment on the lanai! Condo is very well stocked with beach gear, spices, soaps, etc. The firm bed was very comfortable and there is an air conditioner in the bedroom if needed. We found that the breezes at night kept for a comfortable sleeping temp. If you do sleep with the windows open a tip would be to bring ear plugs as the night sounds do carry. Our favorite places to eat nearby were Passion Bakery, Lava Lava, Hukilau, and Sam's Ocean View. Owners had great communication, they were quick to respond to inquiries. Thanks again Egidio and Cheryl for the great hospitality you offered. We hope to be back again someday.

This condo is an absolute gem . It was so clean and beautifully decorated and very well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our 3 weeks stay . The lanai has a stunning view and is so spacious and private . We ate all of our meals out there while we watched the whales , sea turtles , dolphins and we even seen a monk seal once . The sun rises are definitely worth getting up early for .
We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Egidio , he and his wife Cheryl are wonderful and very quick to respond . Don’t wait too long to book this place if you are looking at it, you will not be disappointed. We would definitely book it again when we go back to Kauai . We loved our stay at Egidio's rental unit. The unit was clean and right at a beach. We watched many amazing sunrises over the ocean from the balcony during our stay. We skipped some of our dinner plans to stay in the unit and watch the waves crashing from our balcony. There were many thoughtful amenities like beach chairs, binoculars, snorkeling equipments, and many more.

Very nice renovated condo on the coast in a central Kauai location. If you want to cook, the kitchen has every needed gadget plus spices, oils, flour, sugar etc. The condo has direct access to Wailua beach. Easy walk to restaurants, Lydgate Park and Lae Nani beach. Very nice Japanese restaurant one block away. Nice pool at the property with beautiful blue tile and tropical plants. Breeze keeps the unit cool. We spent the days exploring the island. The only caveat is If it is hot out in the afternoon you might not be comfortable in the living room. If it is hot, best to pack the provided cooler and head out for a picnic and walk in the higher elevations, or go for a swim. We saw whales from the balcony. Overall had a great vacation staying at this place.

The condo itself was very nice: clean, updated, amazing ocean views. I appreciated the AC unit in the bedroom. It worked very well and cooled down the room quickly at night for very comfortable sleeping. The property manager, Mark, was so friendly. The location was nice and central to be able to check out both the north and south/west sides of the island with our rental car and a short drive to/from the airport.
Edigo and Cheryl provided good communication in advance of our stay as well!

The highlight of this property is patio overlooking the ocean. It is even more stunning than the photos. We loved listening to the waves crashing at all hours of the day. The adjacent beach lovely, and almost entirely empty. We had the whole thing to ourselves! The property manager was helpful and easy to reach. As you walk into the unit, the first thing that hits you is the breathtaking view - definitely as advertised! The unit was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed - including some great beach items like chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, coolers, etc. We used the pool several times - very clean and refreshing; just the right temperature. Also appreciated the outdoor shower and bathrooms - also very clean. My husband used the poolside grills a couple of times to cook fish and steak - that was a nice treat and enabled us to save money on dining out every night. Location was excellent; just a short drive to everything we wanted to see and do.

The condo is beautiful with an amazing view of the ocean, and a very private feel. Air conditioning in the bedroom was appreciated at night, and during the day there was a great breeze keeping things comfortable in the main room. Kitchen was a good size and well stocked. We loved having the use of the beach chairs and umbrella, and had a blast on the boogie boards one day at Kalapaki beach. There are several good places to eat within walking distance, and the overall location was convenient for day trips up to the north shore or down to Poipu. Would stay here again! Hosts were super pleasant to work with online and provided lots of useful information.

The condo is roomy and nice. If you enjoy the sounds of ocean waves then this condo is for you. The owner also provided beach chairs and towels. It is on the 3rd floor BUT very far from the elevator. After reaching the 3rd floor, you will have to carry your bags on 3 more staircases (5-6 steps each) in various hallways of the building! Finding the condo is difficult if you arrive during the night time! I recommend that the Owners provide a map or instructions. Even a hand-drawn map would help.
Minor complaint: the door-handle in the kitchen oven is loose, so it separates readily. It needs fixing.

Absolutely loved our stay here during our week long trip to Kauai! The condo is clean, nicely updated, well furnished with everything you could need and has the most gorgeous ocean view. The condo is located in a quiet, nice community with a lovely pool and BBQs that we used quite often. There is a lovely bakery across the street and tons of restaurants/shopping just a short walk down the road. We could not have enjoyed this location more as it is centrally located and am easy drive to all the sights on Kauai! Highly highly recommend this stay! We would return in a heartbeat! The best feature of this condo is by far the covered deck. From the third floor we had a gorgeous view of the ocean and we were able to spot surfers, a sea turtle and a pod of dolphins! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with anything we might need. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend the Heavenly Scents Passion Bakery across the street. The malasadas were excellent. This is a great getaway spot for a couple. Book it!

Updated, great views, many amenities provided such as beach chairs, snorkeling gear, etc, very comfortable. I may have missed in the description that there was no air conditioning in the living areas, but the bedroom had an air conditioning unit and it was very comfortable. The living room had a ceiling fan and you can open the sliding doors to the Seabreeze. very quiet area. would definitely stay here again. Great to have a washer dryer. Town of Kaaba just north of the unit has really good restaurants and the snorkeling at Lydgate Beach Park just south was excellent

If we could do it over we would have stayed for one more day just so we could enjoy the condo! Our days were spent running around the island so being centrally located between the north and south shores was perfect. Lava Lava Beach Club was a short walk north for dinner/drinks/entertainment on the beach and the Paradise Bakery was right across the street in Kinipopo Village -- amazing Loco Moco and other authentic Hawaiian food. Egidio and Cheryl's place had almost everything we needed to enjoy our stay on Kauai. We utilized the kitchen and ate breakfast and dinner on the lanai every day, watching the birds and sea turtles and listening to the waves all day long. We enjoyed our time and would absolutely love to stay here again. Just a tip-- bring a small first aid kit with you, as the condo doesn't have one and the office isn't occupied. This is a hidden gem and great value. The top floor unit . unsurpassed view with the sound of the surf, clean, well lite airy and a great location with many nearby restaurants and walking paths. Condo unit has many extras for use , beach chairs umbrellas coolers boogey boards ect. Hosts are local owners and go the extra mile to make sure everything goes smoothly. We have rented this condo for our last three stays in Kauai and have always found it to be perfect for our needs.

I searched out several properties before finding this one. The moment I saw it, I knew it was what we were looking for and it was very reasonably priced. The views from the lanai are absolutely stunning. Although we primarily ate out, the condo was clean and well furnished with everything you could need. It was especially convenient to have a cooler and ice packs available so we could pack some drinks and snacks and spend the day adventuring. It is easily accessible and centrally located, making it ideal for exploring both sides of the island. There are several things within walking distance for those that may not have a car available. I would definitely stay here again if I am able to return to the island.

My husband and I stayed here during our first trip to Kauai. This rental was perfect for us. It is centrally located, allowing us to easily explore all of the island. The unit is furnished well and has a stocked kitchen. It was very clean (and I am picky about cleanliness)! You open the balcony doors and have a close view of the ocean. I sat on the balcony each morning with my coffee, listening to the ocean and it was amazing. I highly recommend this property. We would definitely stay here again if we can afford it. The owner recently acquired this unit and plans to make updates.

We absolutely loved our vacation at this sweet little condo! It was very clean, well equipped with ac and smart tvs but the best part was the lanai overlooking the ocean from which we were able to whale watch. My husband even saw one breach! This was truly a magical trip and we can’t wait to return.

The ocean views from the balcony were amazing and the condo offered all that we needed. Hosts were very accommodating after a VRBO booking snafu (they went above and beyond). Super convenient from the airport, with good food options close by. Would recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was in the perfect location to get easily to the North and South side of the island. Walking distance to beautiful, calm beaches, which included one of our favorite beaches, Lydgate Park. Also, walking distance to the Coconut Marketplace. The place was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed to cook our daily breakfasts and enjoy the Sunrise and ocean view from the lanai. Egidio was easy to communicate with and very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

From start to finish this place was a dream. Great communication from the owner with extra details about the area. Check in was super easy. We got engaged nearby and could not have had a better place to celebrate! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The hosts of this property were AWESOME! Very responsive and provided great information about the area. The condo was very clean and has everything you need for a great vacation including a well stocked kitchen and beach gear. The location was absolutely perfect for us. All the necessities are within walking distance, including the beaches. It’s also a great starting point for day adventures. The view from this place is SPECTACULAR!! We were up every morning to watch the sunrise from the lanai. We will be back for sure!!

The owners were informative, but not invasive. Check in couldn’t have been simpler. I’d never been to Kauai, and everyone recommended staying in Princeville, but this location is ideal if you want to explore the island. And the condo? Wow.. pictures do not do justice. 3rd floor, very private, the sound of crashing waves, no road noise, and the bedroom is on the opposite side from the water, so close the door, and silence. Well -provisioned, beach and snorkel gear, complete kitchen with all the utensils you have at home, full size shower and tub, 10 minute walk to the Wailua River and it’s amenities, also two well-known hotel bars and restaurants also just a short walk. I got lucky picking this one, I feel like I got a fantastic deal.

We stayed at this condo for about a week and had a great vacation. Communication with the owners was excellent with a quick response. They were very accommodating after the airline cancelled our initial flight to Kauai. This unit was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The A/C in the bedroom cooled things down quickly. It was quiet and very peaceful. I would highly recommend this unit!

The condo was very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, perfectly located and walking distance to Coconut Marketplace and restaurants. Edigio and Cheryl were terrific, they were very responsive, pays attention to all of the little details and the place had everything that we needed. We would definitely come back!

We loved our stay here! The view from the lanai, where we enjoyed most of our meals, is incredible! The place had everything we needed. It was nice having a full kitchen, and the location is convenient to beach access and Kapa’a/other parts of the island. As the listing acknowledged, the kitchen and bathroom are a bit dated (really not an issue though, as everything was functional and clean). Once it’s updated it’ll unfortunately probably be out of our budget, since we’d stay here again in a heartbeat! :)

We had a great time at WBV 310. The location was perfect as we were able to get to both ends of the island fairly easily. The views from the lanai were awesome. The condo itself is comfortable and served our purposes well. Could use some updates but everything we needed was perfectly functional and left no reason to complain. Would truly recommend if someone is looking for a nice, well-located, beautiful place to stay. The hosts were awesome and responsive to all inquiries.
