Our Waikiki experience could have been better. The location was OK but not great....we thought we'd be closer to the beach. Our arrival and retrieval of the keys was OK but it took us a little while to figure out which post and how exactly to get the keys out of the lock box and the box closed again etc. The suite was not very clean at all....cramped, moldy and old. Maybe our expectations were too high but since this was the most expensive of our stays we found it to be the worst while we were expecting it to be the best.

I am sorely disappointed that HomeAway does not honor its fiduciary responsibility. When the condo was booked, HomeAway sent a bill which included a refundable deposit doe security. No where was there any information that you the security deposit to the owner. You refunded the damage deposit and then pursuant to my inquiry, informed me the security deposit must be refunded by the owner. HomeAway handled the transaction and failed to execute your fiduciary responsibility by forwarding the security deposit to the owner. Your action required me to contact the owner and request the refund. He refunded the deposit through PayPal. I am unfamiliar with PayPal and inadvertently sent the refund back to the owner. I contacted the owner and explained what happened. The owner has failed to make the refund and keeps pitting me off with one excuse after another. Being thousands of miles away leaves me no alternative but to request assisstance from the news media regarding this issue. I find it difficult to use your your service in the future.

That location and view was great. Close to stores. Walking distance to ocean/beach. Very good breakfast/brunch restaurant on main floor. There is no living/sitting/lounging area in rooms. Nice pool area with bbq. There were some things that could be improved on: more chairs for around table, kitchen and cleaning supplies, some things could have been cleaned better, some fixing/repairs needs to be done. When people arrive, little things like explaining the elevators would help. There is a cash only fee for car parking per night.

This condo is situated in a great location - easy access to Ala Moana Mall on one direction and Waikiki Beach on the other. The views from the condo was spectacular. You can see the sunrise behind the mountains every morning and hear the ocean waves on Waikiki Beach. Condo was clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend for those who are looking for something affordable, clean, and walking distance to Waikiki Beach. Very pleased that the condo is secure 24 hours/7 days.

The condo building is run down and dingy. The condo itself is not any better-the bath tub was rusted, the front door's lock was broken, the shower curtain rail ,that must have come loose at some point, was fixed to the wall by some kind of tape, and so I can go on.The one east facing bedroom had inexpensive blinds that only partially covered the windows. The one toilet had overflow we were told on the Saturday of our arrival-was not fixed until our departure 2 days later-we actually checked out 3 days early because we could just not stay there any longer!

It had everything you wanted, walking distance to everything. Doesn't have a lounge area or lani but each room is big enough to have breakfast and lunch if need be. Rooms has own bathroom, TV, fridge table and chairs for 2. Good space to hang cloths in. Quite views are great I slept with blinds open so I can see the lights at night and sun in the morning.
