We arrived to a very clean, well supplied and homey condo! It has an AC that works well. On the dining table, the host left a fresh flower, a package of local coffee and locally made cookies! We have stayed in many VRBO's, but never any gifts left for us. The quality of bath and kitchen towels great. We even noticed the quality of paper towels and t paper was better quality. We appreciated all the extra special touches and decor. We stayed in 4 VRBO 's between Kauai and Big Island over 2.5 weeks, this one was by far the best!

I have stayed here before. I love the view from the lanai. It's clean and safe. I slept with the air on because people were on their balconies a 8 am and you can hear everything. I found the noise of the air conditioner better than being woken up. There ate lots of soft towels, a couple beach chairs. Snorkeling is a block away with a boss frogs right next to the lawai snorkel spot. I would stay here again!

Great for a couple that just needs a shelter and place to sleep. If you want to relax at the room, not recommended. We hike, swim, explore, and are only at the room to sleep. There was no wifi, windows do not fully shut, paper towels stuffed around AC unit, etc. however, safe, laid back, and easy. For the price, this place was great!

We'll look for this property when we return. The ocean view from the balcony is terrific, AC works well, beach chairs/cooler were realy great to have, and it was perfect for 2 people. This is a great location with easy access to restaurants, a CVS, a shopping center, beaches, and highways

Studio, not a 1 bedroom. Mold in bathroom, cracked sink, trim, etc. Needs paint, cheap bedding, see-through linen, no comfortable chairs, you get the picture. Pros- location, beach chair, umbrella. Bottom line- other units in the building to rent until this one is updated.

The location of the property is fantastic, it really is in a prime spot. The unit itself does need some work. Comparing it to other units we've stayed in at Prince Kuhio, it is in desperate need of a facelift. I will say that for the most part, the unit had everything you need for a comfortable stay. However, we did have to buy a few things for our 3 weeks stay, nothing major but things I would assume would be there. For example, the beach chairs provided need replacing, we chose to rent chairs instead. We were short on hangers in the closet, and we didn't have a whole lot to hang. It comes down to a whole lot of small details that really and truly make a huge impression. I am not fussy, nor do I have high expectations, but someone else might and that's why I am choosing to share my experience, good and bad. With that being said, we are forever grateful for people who open up their homes to us tourists and give us a place to call home while on island. Mahalo nui loa for sharing your home with us.

Very nice 2 weeks. Would have liked a month or 2. Went to farmers markets, Waimea canyon, ishihara market in Waimea for Poke, porkys for bbq, bookstore in Hanapepe, spouting horn, Allerton gardens, wailua falls, the beach at end of road for sunset, takes 40 minutes to go 3 miles, need a Jeep,

The location is great and the communication with the owners is good. We loved the condo! Only downside is that there are multiple roosters in the park next to the balcony. They woke us up every single morning around 6 or 6am. Not something the owners can change. But good to know.

Great stay in a great property! Everything was exactly as described. When we had one small issue after checking in, the owner was immediately onsite to trouble shoot. We enjoyed our time in the property, and would definitely look to book again when we come back to Kauai!

Can not complain about the location or the grounds! Both lovely. The unit is just ok. It is moderately run down and could definitely use some updating. There is NOT A FULL SIZED REFRIGERATOR in this unit. I had illusions of cooking during our 10 days here and if you wanted something cold to drink vs shopping to cook you had a tough choice...I personally was not looking to shop every day after being out all day. The bed was fine, shower fine, and the size of the bathroom was fine. The outside lanai furniture was plastic chairs and a wicker type table.. The view made them tolerable. There were 2 camping folding chairs and one broken beach chair. I contacted the person and she said she would have the owners drop something off. We opted to rent chairs and an umbrella across the street that were suitable for our needs. We had the opportunity to see a couple other units during our stay from people we met on vacation and this unit is definitely on the very low end of the spectrum...a deep cleaning would help but in comparison with the other ones I saw updating would go a long way.... It has pretty much everything you need except a regular refrigerator. I would stay on this property again for sure but choose a different unit. Our vacation to Kauai was wonderful and will surely come again!

Unit 235 met our needs during our 5 day stay. It contains a king bed, a small table and two chairs. There is a well stocked full kitchen with a 4-burner stove containing a full oven. There is a small refrigerator. We ate breakfast, packed lunch and cooked dinner every day during our stay. The unit is on the second floor. There is a large sliding glass door that overlooks a park-like field. We felt safe and private while leaving the drape and door open all night to let in cool fresh air. There is a small window unit air conditioner which we did not use. There were written instructions providing helpful information about the unit including a phone number to call for help. One day a light bulb burned out leaving the bathroom in total darkness. We called for help and about 45 minutes later a caretaker arrived to install a new lightbulb. The unit is located near the back of the complex so we did not hear noise from traffic on the road. A 4-digit lockbox is on the hallway wall just outside the entry door. It contains a key to the door which we replaced immediately. Inside the unit are two keys which we used throughout our stay. Upon arrival we parked in a small tight paved lot just off the road. After unloading, we learned there is a much larger covered parking garage behind an adjacent building which we used thereafter. We would be happy to stay in unit 235 again.

The balcony had a very nice view of the ocean. The beach chairs were great to have. The condo was very functional, but could use some updates. The pool area and parking were great.

We loved that it was close to everything! Didn’t care for having the pay for the laundry! The few staff we did see were very nice and the other guests were very friendly!
