We booked this unit because it was less expensive than most others at turtle bay. The manager was quick to respond when we needed anything. There were a few minor things such as the temperature dial on the oven is worn off which made it hard to bake and only one tv remote worked, but a major negative was the futon bed is extremely heavy and a pain to put up and down, and kept falling off the tracks. I’m surprised it didn’t throw our backs out. The manager sent someone to help and said they are going to replace it so that will be great. Other than that, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials and the location at turtle bay made it all well worth it!

All was as expected. The Hideaway bed was comfortable. However very difficult to close it up and the cushion was extremely heavy.

We had a wonderful time at North Shore. Turtle Bay has a beautiful property with plenty of beaches and trails to explore, 10 minute walk to the beach. The condo was great, we had a few minor issues (little things to reclean, towels) but Bitsy was great at communicating. Check in and check out was easy, the parking is right out front and the heated pools are fantastic, air conditioning worked well. Wi-fi a little slow if you have multiple family members but usable. We didn't know how to unfold the futon at first but once we figured it out the kids loved it, very comfortable. If you plan to grill know that they are charcoal, we didn't use but heard some other guests griping about it while we were at the pool. Delicious food trucks are a 5 minute drive away. Truly enjoyed our time and can't wait to go back for our next trip to Hawaii!

Turtle bay walking distance, great snorkeling, incredible hike to Northern most point of the island, ate at beach front restaurant and was amazing food, service and views. Only glitch was getting key out of lock box upon our arrival and property manager helped us though that process. Highly recommend!

We came out to our daughter's college graduation and stayed here! It was so lovely and a great location to stay near Laie. The Condo had everything we needed including A/C and the kitchen was well stocked.
It even had a portacrib and blow up mattress if we would have needed it We loved being able to hike all the trails nearby and snorkeled in the bay. We saw tons of birds, Albatross nesting, a few turtles, monk seals and surprisingly a whale. This area is pristine, quiet and wonderful. The host was easy to communicate with and everything worked great! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The pictures do not do this place justice! Nice, quiet and cool, the unit is spacious enough to spend a few weeks comfortably as a couple or with a friend. The kitchen is fully equipped, there are fans on the ceiling in addition to the AC, and the Lanai is perfect for sipping coffee in the morning and watching the first light of the day colour the golf greens. Appreciated the ease of the check in, and the reserved parking spot right in front of the unit. Also enjoyed the small touches - plenty of beach towels, basic staples in the kitchen, and even some tennis racquets and balls in case one wants to use the courts. Also loved being within walking distance of the resort and its bars, stores, and restaurants without being caught up in the frenzy of staying there. We hope to be back soon!

This condo was the perfect respite for us while visiting the O’ahu North Shore. It was clean and comfortable. The owners were very responsive when we had a couple issues (one with a slow drain and the other with the dryer setting off the smoke alarm…make sure to open the front door to allow air flow.) We enjoyed our stay very much and will check this for availability if we return.

The booking was very easy. Communication with the property manager regarding instructions and check in was great. The area is beautiful and the Turtle Bay Resort is breathtaking. I lived there 27 years ago and it was like returning home again.

The unit was disappointing. I don't think it has been updated since the 1980s. The sofa bed wouldn't fold correctly. The AC unit was inadequate. There was construction going on in the adjoining unit. We booked 8 nights and only stayed two.

Overall it was a cute 1 bedroom condo on da north shore. Easy to get in and out and the property manager was easy to reach out to with questions. Great location on the golf course with amazing chickens to let you know it was time to wake up. We would stay here again.

spacious for two parents and a nine-year-old. Well thought out extras, such as a boogie board, sand toys, kitchen appliances. The public beach at turtle Bay is a total winner. Our condo is150 feet from the small pool…extremely convenient. Pastoral view out onto the golf course with Birdsong backdrop at all times… Particularly wonderful in that semi sleep state early in the morning. screened in lanai beautifully done and great for breakfast. The main North Shore Road 200 yards across the golf hole…a distraction at times, but not in a major way. I didn’t really understand how this place was organized until we got here. For those who know, I would compare it to Sunriver in Oregon. There is a major hotel/lodge with its own accommodations. Surrounding the main entity are individually owned condos and housing, much of which is available to rent. Our unit is one of four, two-story, and we had one of the two downstairs units. Great place to stay.
We had everything we needed here. The condo was very clean and roomy. The bed was comfortable, there were 2 bathrooms, a nice kitchen and comfy furniture in the living room area. Plus we had a washer and dryer to do laundry.

If you want to stay near the North shore, this is the place. Close to all the famous beaches. Ted's baker is 10 minutes away. Quite, safe area. Gated and security on the grounds. Both AC work great and ceiling fans move the air around. If you wish to do a trip in to Honolulu you are located equidistant to it by two completely different routes. So if there is a lot of traffic in one direction then you can go the other. Just check Waze or google maps for traffic and routing advice. Free designated parking spot that is lighted and safe right in front of condo. Also located exactly between two Foodland grocery stores. Condo condition is a little dated but otherwise clean and safe. And two full bathrooms. Washer & dryer work great for me.

The condo was exactly what we hoped for from the advertisement. Bed was comfortable, as was the futon in the living room as a second bed. Kitchen was well equipped, though we missed having complimentary coffee available the first morning. The location was perfect for the North Shore portion of our visit to Oahu.

This place is phenomenal and the owner is great! Right on one of the closed Turtle Bay golf courses -perfect for a long walk. Located right in the Turtle Bay “driveway “ so you can walk over there to get breakfast dinner or get a drink.

Our family stayed at this property during Thanksgiving Week and we really liked it. As frequent visitors to Oahu, we love staying around the North Shore area because Waikiki feels like Los Angeles on an Island and that wouldn't feel like a vacation at all. Like any property, there are pros and cons, but we felt the pros definitely outweighed the cons for this visit.
PROS:
1) As they say in real estate, the three biggest factors are location, location, and location. Well, you can't get a better location than right next to Turtle Bay and for us, we loved being minutes away from Kahuku Farms, Fumi's Shrimp Truck, and other local eateries.
2) We liked that the property had 2 bathrooms, it comes in handy when you have two teenagers that "need their space."
3) The Aerobed and Futon Couch were quite helpful as our son and daughter had their own private beds.
4) The backyard view was amazing with all greenery and beautiful trees and birds flying by. It was nice to have that privacy.
5) We also loved having a reserved parking spot and private gate access, it gave added peace of mind in terms of not having randomn people coming onto the property for no reason.
CONS:
1) The property could benefit from several upgrades (but the rental price is commensurate with the age of the property). Examples include:
a) Appliances - Washer/Dryer extremely loud and noisy;
Dishwasher door does not close fully so you're not sure if it
is fully closed.
b) The Wifi was not working properly because the router from
Spectrum is quite outdated, but that was going to be handled
later. The manager offered to have Spectrum come and
update it during our stay, but we passed on that.
c) Some of the kitchen supplies (tea kettle, cofee mugs/glasses,
and dishes) are due for replacement as they are well used.
Overall, we had a wonderful time in North Shore and this property made our visit quite enjoyable by being in such a prime location. Again, when in paradise, the point is to be outside and enjoy all of the natural beauty that exists. But have a nice place like this also helps to recharge and be ready for the next day of activities. Thank you Bitsy for all your assistance. Mahalo!

No surprises - previous reviews and description were accurate. Plenty of linens, well-stocked kitchen equipment, and some beach gear. Only "minor' squawks would be that the dryer was full of sand and its filter looked like it had not been cleaned in a while, and there is no lighting in the Living Room other than a bright ceiling fan light (would recommend a table lamp or two), and the ice maker looks to be out of operation (there are trays though). Property Manager was excellent - great instructions/directions and the property security was super friendly and helpful. Location cannot be beat - on a closed golf course that was great to walk on and the beach & resort are within close walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

This was an easy rental to get too with excellent directions. We got in very late and Bitsy had alerted the Security before we got there. They were very helpful in getting us in the gate and showing us to our rental.
The condo was perfect size for the 2 of us. We liked being able to walk to the beach for our snorkeling. Also walking to Lei Lei’s for dinner on the putting green was fun.
The condo was stocked with appropriate dishes and cooking items. The bed was very comfortable.
We would definitely recommend this rental. Thank you again, Bitsy for letting us stay in your condo.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The place was average.
Positives: Boogy boards, beach chairs and mats are available to use. Basic condiments also convenient if you’re going to be having meals which we didn’t besides breakfast. Dishwasher and clothing detergent is provided. Location on the golf course was beautiful.
Negatives: the bedding did not feel fresh or clean. The pillows smelled sweaty and sheets were very worn. The comforter/bedspread looked used and since it was warm enough we didn’t use it. I also felt very itchy sleeping on the bed.
The bathtub had dead roaches and towels also looked worn out and smelled musty. I washed these before using. Considering that we only used the condo to sleep and have breakfast it was disappointing that I didn’t get a good night sleep.

Staying here was perfect for us! We came to spend time at BYUH and to see our Samoan friends perform at the PCC. The value for the price was great. The king bed and two bathrooms were just what we wanted. We will stay there again!

The condo is in such a great location! The condo itself is very nice and spacious with a full kitchen. We also enjoyed many mornings sitting out on the lanai enjoying the day and a good cup of Kona coffee. It was also nice being next to the pool and being able to walk to the hotel to watch the fire dancing, get a drink or watch the sunset. Looking forward to coming back to this North shore retreat next year!
