WELCOME TO 'MOKU HALE' (Our Hawaiian Island Home) on Kauai’s SUNNY south shore. This luxurious 2 bedroom, 2 bath, oceanview condominium is #211 at the Kahala Resort, which is one of Poipu's most beautifully landscaped and well maintained condominium complexes. Kahala borders two of Kauai’s best beaches, 'Shipwreck Beach' and the World famous 'Poipu Beach'.

Poipu Beach has been voted 'Best Beach' in America by the Travel Channel and for good reason with so much to offer. Your children will love the calm waters, where they can explore the underwater world with a mask and snorkel. The small waves are good for beginning boogie borders but there’s a surfing area for those experienced surfers as well. Other frequent visitors to this beach are the beloved Hawaiian Monk Seals who come here to rest in the sun just like we do!

The beach park has restrooms, showers, picnic tables and pavilions as well as a large lawn area with shade trees. It is also one of the very few beaches on the island with lifeguards.

Back at the condo, enjoy all the conveniences of being at home. The master suite features a Cal King bed, walk in closet and a beautiful stone walk-in shower for two. The kitchen has everything you would ever need to create an island feast, just in case feel like dining at home and watching the sun set from your lanai.

To satisfy your entertainment needs, you will find this condo well stocked with electronic 'goodies'. We have Free High Speed, Wireless Internet, Stereo CD player, TV and DVD player.

An additional bonus is this is a ground floor, end unit with direct access to the pool and tennis courts. Only seconds from your Oceanside lanai, this beautiful pool is complete with a whirlpool spa and is just one of the TWO available pools for your use at the resort!

Sidewalks take you on an easy walk to the Hyatt Regency with five restaurants, a coffee shop and lounge high above the ocean. On the way to the Hyatt, remember to stop at the rocky area to watch the turtles that swim and feed there most of the year.

Come discover the 'Aloha Spirit' that abounds in this Garden Island Paradise!

This condo is perfectly situated! A short walk to Poipu beach and you'll have snorkeling, swimming, and at sunset you can watch the turtles come to spend the night on the sandy beach. You might even see a monk seal sunning himself. Kalapaki Joe's is super close and a great place for a meal. The condo is nicely appointed but could use some more silverware or you'll be running the dishwasher every day. There is AC in the master bedroom only but the open windows and ceiling fans help. There is a closet full of anything you might need for a day at the beach, chairs, snorkel equipment, coolers, umbrella, etc. The pool is just steps from your front door. And it's a wonderful pool. Not huge but so welcoming after a long hot day exploring the island. Chad is great. He will answer any of your questions. Just don't check in early as it upsets the housekeeping staff. You will enjoy your stay in this condo.

We spent a great week in this beautyful condo and saw a lot of this wonderful isle. Everything was OK. Now we have to go back to Switzerland.

This is a lovely place, and I would rent it again. The management was attentive. There was a small problem with the A/C and it was fixed with a new unit in one day.

We've been leaving our husbands at home and taking a "girls' trip" to Kauai for past 11 years. In the past, we've stayed in Kapaa and in Lihue, but this was our first time staying in Poipu. We loved it! The condo had everything we needed. It was clean, steps away from the pool & a very short walk to Poipu Beach. We'd recommend it to anyone.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures, this unit is a dream. We scoured the Internet, trying to find the perfect location for a family of 5( 2 adults and three teenagers). We wanted something close to the beach but also access to the pool and then of course, walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. This unit exceeded all expectations. We’ve stayed at multiple rental units in the past and I have never been in one as well equipped as this one. Whether it’s kitchen supplies, beach supplies, cooking supplies… you name it it’s all there for you. At this price point, you won’t find a better value given its location. Just a note the third kid will end up on a pull out in the living room, but it was actually quite comfortable!!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the entire island, easy trips to both sides. Poipu Beach is a 5 minute walk. Fun to watch the sea turtles, swim, and snorkle. This unit has everything needed (chairs, beach umbrella, body boards, etc.) for a day at the beach, couldn't ask for more!

Great place, great location! Poipu and Koloa are great towns with lots of restaurants and markets. The place itself is laid out great and has plenty of room!

Everything was great except the unsuspecting construction noise and disturbing which was just the next door.

We loved the condos proximity to Poipu Beach…walked there every evening. The entire south side of the island was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again.

The condo is very nice - has all of the amenities you would want for a longer stay (kitchen, laundry, etc) The location is a very short walk to beaches and especially close to the beach where sea turtles rest at night. Just a 5-10 minute walk to see sea turtles in the morning. There's not a ton of local food nearby, so if you want a non-hotel restaurant culinary experience expect to drive.

Great location, plenty to do and beautiful beaches to walk to. Property a little dated and could have been a little cleaner

Lovely older condo with good layout and location. The kitchen is well appointed, and appliances are all very functional, including the washer/dryer. Beds, bedding, and linens need updating (lumpy and threadbare), and upon arrival the unit was not as clean as our first visit. But it is close to the pool and a short walk to the beach. The grounds are beautiful !

The condo provided good space for our family of five, with older kids. The condo looked even better in person than the photos. From the lanai, you can enjoy the view of the ocean and the gardens surrounding the tennis courts. Noice from the pool and courts was never an issue. We were there in January, so we slept comfortably with the fans and breezes. The AC in the master was helpful. The kitchen was well stocked as well as a closet with beach chairs and other beach items. The 5 minute walk to Poipu Beach is an easy stroll. The sunsets, sleeping turtles, lounging seal and the snorkeling were great. The location is great for getting to boat excursions and waterfalls and Waimea Canyon. We made a trip to the north shore one day. We picked up groceries in Lihu before heading to the area. We purchased fish from a local fish market. Good communication for planning and arrival with Chad.

This place is tastefully decorated but old and worn. Not well cleaned before we arrived (sand on floors and drawers in bathrooms not cleaned out). Unit was advertised as having AC and it did have a solitary, under performing unit in the master bedroom. When we reached out, we were told that people didn't need AC in Kauai because of the trade winds and actually that AC was not allowed by the condo homeowner's association (so why was it there at all if it violated rules?). So basically, we were told that what we wanted was not really necessary and so we wondered why it was listed as having AC. It was hot and we were never comfortable there so we made it a point not to be there. We are very unhappy because we bought and paid for a unit that we believed had effective AC, whether or not the listing agent or the owner believed that to be a reasonable expectation. TV in the main room did not work for live TV which was ok, we weren't there for TV (there was a disorganized rat's nest of wires behind it that we dared not touch). One morning, with no prior warning, maintenance showed up on the back porch to fix railings on the above unit. We lost one entire day where we could have used the porch. On other days, it had been nice to wake up in the morning and have a cup of coffee on the porch. The entire community had construction of one type or another being done which was a constant nuisance. I guess the improvement was great for the community but not for the visitors. There was a threshold piece on the flooring connecting the main hallway and the main living space that was unsecured and quite frankly dangerous for a slip and fall injury. The agent basically told us that wasn't possible since the floor was brand new (though it had duct tape on the failing strip so it must have been an issue for a bit). The washing machine was awash in sand and dryer filled with lint. In sum, this is a tired old unit that needs a major refresh. If the "trade winds" aren't blowing you'll be sleeping in pools of your own sweat if you can sleep at all. We feel completely ripped off and we had to clean the place better than we found it just to keep from walking around on sandy floors and using hair filled drawers. We won't ever consider staying here again nor booking anything from this listing agent in the future. If you saved up for great trip, it might be wise to invest elsewhere.

We loved our stay at this condo. It's conveniently located for an easy walk to Poipu beach. We had 3 kids (8months, 2years, 5years) and we loved walking to see sea turtles in the early morning and back later to the baby beach area for swimming. The condo is right next to the pool which was convenient for a swim. We loved all the fun beach items like digging toys, chairs, boogie boards (one note was that the beach umbrella was broken and that would have been helpful for shade). The only negative was the main living area got pretty hot in the afternoon, we definitely appreciated having the ac in the master. There was construction during our stay which Chad had informed us of, but it did not bother us. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay for our family, thank you!

We loved our stay at this property! It was very well supplied, quiet & close to our favorite sites. The short garden-walk to the beach was lined with beauty. Although we were very close to the pool, it was never loud and the pool is outlined with lush greenery so not visible from our place. We also had access to a nice barbecue which helped with quick meals that didn't heat up the place! The only improvements I'd suggest that would add to a comfy stay would be to improve the A/C set up & let your guests know the water should be filtered from the tap (as it did not taste good & had visible sediments etc). Loved our stay though & would return! Thank you!!!
