Great Location and Stay but for the price, the Cooling system was old and rusty, same as the doors.
When we love the place and will be keen to rent again. One of the point where we will skip is not seeing any change of quality on that aspect for the price.
Other than that, if place was more re-furnished, i'm sure we will be keen to make it a yearly trip to Kona!

The view of the ocean and the sunset was incredible. Comfortable bed, all the necessary amenities, pleasant and relaxing unit. Could always find a parking spot. Within walking distance to dining and shopping. Great !

The view is tremendous, you can sit on the port and catch the sunset every night. Easy parking, short walk, less than a mile from town. All the appliances work, the A/C doesn't really cool the bedroom but there's a pull out couch in the area that's cooled and we just used that and figured out how to use the fans to get the whole place cooled down in the evening. Pool was clean and not too busy, the property was quiet in the evenings and we felt completely safe.

We had a great time in this unit. Location was excellent. It was clean and well-supplied. We appreciated the extra beach supplies, like the chairs, water shoes, noodles, etc. The Casago rep on-site was excellent to work with. We wouldnât hesitate to return to this unit.

The condo was exactly as advertised. Checkin was easy the owner was available, there were written instructions inside. This is a great central location within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The pool and jacuzzi are perfect and the view is stunning! We will be back.

The views from the lanai are fabulous! You can watch the sunset every night from your third floor balcony. Location is great with easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The pool area and gardens are immaculate and lovely for relaxing. It was so nice to have the BBQ area as well. Thereâs a small beach beside the complex, but snorkelling and ocean swimming are best done at other beaches that you drive to. The condo itself is dated and worn, yet comfortable. The cleaning was a little below our standards, but that may have been due to things being worn out, such as the bathroom and AC unit. Great having a washer and dryer and dishwasher in the unit. Those appliances were newer and worked really well. There are two parking garages and we were able to find a spot easily each evening. Over-all, this property is really good and would be great with a few upgrades. We had a nice vacation here and would recommend this property based on the positive features mentioned.

weâve been in this unit/Kona reef multiple times. We love the location and the pool and the bbq area and the unit itself. Our only issue is that the shower is just not really clean. It needs major cleaning. we had the same issue back in April when we stayed in the same unit

The unit was perfect, management extremely responsive re: a few minor issues(we had problems with the fold-out bed getting âstuckâ. Loved the setting, location, pool and patio area, and use of the barbecues.

The Kona Reef complex is in a great location. It is on the water and walking close to downtown Kona with many bars and restaurants. Every night there are unbelievable sunsets. The condo manager, KonaNow, is fantastic. BUT, the condo itself needs lots of upgrades, and it is uncomfortable. Our best short review is, Would we come to this complex again â a hearty yes! Would we rent this condo again? Without upgrades, a definite NO. With upgrades, likey yes. The owner needs to know that you have to spend the money to make your place nice, or guests will not give you a good review.

This is our second stay here and love the property and location being close to restaurants and stores, just a walk away. Dishwasher in the unit this time really needs replacing because it doesnât clean dishes very well at all. We just hand washed the dishes every day. The bedroom did not stay cool so we had to run an extra floor model fan besides ceiling fan which helped a little. Fold out couch for an extra bed was difficult to master. You had to get it just right before it would go back from bed to couch. We loved sitting on the lanai and the beautiful view from it. We definitely enjoyed our stay here despite the few things mentioned above. Thank you!

We had a great trip 2 weeks went fast. We stayed at Kona Reef before in a different unit that had air in the bedroom but this one doesnât so we ended up sleeping in the living room by the A/C. Over all it was very enjoyable

Great view, good location, was able to walk most places for food and drink. Sunsets were great from the balcony every night. Nice and quiet too. Only complaint i would say is bedroom can be pretty hot with the a/c unit out in the living room, although fans were provided. All said I'm happy i picked this location, 5 stars.

We love this property. Views are fabulous and pool has plenty of seating and lounges.
We had an issue with the dishwasher and the repair person arrived within 15 minutes. That was amazing. We definitely are going to return.

We had a fabulous stay at Kona Reef C33 over Christmas break. This complex is perfectly located near downtown Kona. Everything is clean and well taken care of, although the unit itself is a little tired and could use updating. This unit gave us perfect sunsets every night! Working with Adeline was great. We were even able to extend our stay by one night with great ease. I highly recommend Kona Reef C33, and definitely would stay here again.

Loved the location,great views, complex was great, verything you needed for the beach was there. Had issues with fridge leaking lots of water on the floor, stove Knobs were broke, Internet stopped working, Dishwasher would not clean the dishes. Called maintenance on all the issues they looked at the issues never fixed anything. Vent in the bathroom needs some help. Bed was Very Comfortable. Pool and grills where beautiful and clean. If and when we ever go back I would try to see if this condo was available again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kona Reef C-33. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage in the bedroom. The view from the lanai was amazing!!!

The condo had nice beach chairs, a cooler and a beach umbrella which came on very handy
At first the condo only had 2 beach towels. A quick phone call to Adalene and problem fixed very quickly
We loved sitting on the balcony and watched the waves and surfers
