My husband and I spent 5 nights in this beautiful condo. The owner has thought of everything for your stay, from beach towels and umbrella, a cooler for the beach to lots of extra linens in the closet.
We would definitely stay again!

This property is lovely, well appointed and well equipped. You could not ask for a more lovely view of the Pacific. You can walk to a few beaches while drives to some spectacular beaches west of Hanalei are relatively short. Proximity to wonderful restaurants and food stands. And the complex pool and spa were also very nice to enjoy at the end of the day. We left relaxed and refreshed!

I couldn't say more great things about our particular unit and the location of Pali Ke Kua. It is the best view out of all of Princeville. We enjoyed taking walks on the path and it was walking distance to Queen's Bath. Condo was clean. They even had tupperware, which I find a lot of properties are missing. It was helpful when we had leftovers. Electric grill was easy to use. Bed was comfortable. Enough fans were available for when there wasn't a nice breeze coming through. The only thing I felt could have been cleaner were the floors upon arrival. I luckily had house slippers but my husbands feet were dirty just walking around after a day (and we weren't tracking in any sand or shoe debris). Will recommend to friends/family or come back ourselves in the future!

The unit is as described in the pictures and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The best part of the Condo is the view from #109, however; since #109 is a ground unit you hear every conversation, hear every footstep/dishwasher/laundry at 4:00 AM. We had issues with the first and third renters. First renters decided to blare the movie upstairs which probably could have been heard in Lihue. The last renters decided to smoke pot on the upstairs balcony and since the trade winds blow, you can guess what we got to smell the last 2 nights. I would not stay on another ground unit at Pali Ke Kua.

From the moment we walked in the door, till the moment we had to leave, we loved every minute of our stay here! We spent every day just soaking up the beautiful views. This is one of the first places we've stayed where we were reluctant to go anywhere because it was so enjoyable right where we were. Everything in the condo was top notch and we lacked nothing! This is simply an outstanding property and an excellent value. Unit was clean, updated, well-appointed with all the necessities, and true in appearance per the photos on VRBO. My wife and I loved it. The views are spectacular! It's also situated in one of the most upscale areas of Kauai - Princeville, with a wonderful fitness path, golf course, and manicured grounds. Plenty of conveniences, and dining and beach options close by in Hanalei (10 minute drive west), and Kilauea (15 minute drive east). Could not be happier with our selection. Lori at Princeville Vacations (property management company) is very helpful and communicates promptly. You'll see that this property books early, so don't hesitate to book your reservation!

Great place, location and views but definitely not the quality that is pictured. The complex is pretty old, outdated furniture and decor in the room, the walls are super thin so you can hear your neighbors, no ac, and minimally stocked kitchen.

This is a wonderful place with a perfect view. We loved it. Literally the only problem is the way soind travels from neighbors. The people above us were not noisy at all but when they said ANYTHING it was loud downstairs. And if they took a shower at 5am it sounded like we were being floddes

Nice condo with all the amenities. No air conditioning but the afternoon & evening breeze and fans help. The neighbors upstairs, their air conditioning unit and the outside lights that we couldn't turn off made it challenging to sleep. Many beautiful beaches but one small rocky one are a short car drive away. The beach gear was worn, the umbrella broken. We didn't go to the pool. Not safe for small children without supervision because it's very close to a cliff.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! This condo is beautiful with everything you need for your stay - including beach chairs and boogie boards and Island made shampoo/Conditioner/Soap in the shower for your stay. Plenty of kitchen utensils, perfectly furnished. The view is just perfection and this unit is literally steps from the STEEP path to the beach (but it’s paved most of the way!). This is my third trip to Kauai and I would never stay anywhere but Princeville - quiet and so much calmer. The Nene and birds peek in your back screen door to welcome the day and we just could not have been more pleased. Only thing that could use a little improvement is the mattress which is beginning to show its age with two “valleys” but we still slept great! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! Wish I were still there!

This property is great. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The view is beautiful! The private beach is beautiful. The walk down the hill is paved until you get to the last little bit. It is a bit hard to get up the hill on the way back, but worth it. The property grounds and surrounding areas are very well taken care of. We cook most of our meals so the kitchen was great! Plenty of room and it had all utensils, pans etc…we needed to cook with. The only downside was the neighbors upstairs (also guests) woke us up almost every morning about 6am. Since there is no AC there are small windows everywhere allowing more noise to travel. I would most likely stay again. I was worried about no AC but we didn’t need it, in fact the temperature at night was perfect. It was hot from about 3-7. We were there mid June. Not sure how much warmer the other summer months are. I would definitely check the weather for the summer months. Communications with the property management group was great as well. Easy access to the property for sure. All in all I still give it 5 stars. It’s worth it!

Tucked near the end of Princeville, this property is quiet and relaxing. The unit's on the first floor and very close proximity to the walking path of Hideaway beach. And close to the pool and Hideaways Pizza. The concrete path was steep, but worth every view morning and night. It's also a short walk to the larger Hideaway Beach (with more sand), but its the dirt path with the rope to use as leverage. Noise traveled from the upstairs unit, but didn't bother us too much. Having the electric grill outside was wonderful-we cooked 3 nights out of the 5. There was mostly good kitchen supplies. Having the Tommy Bahama chairs were great, would have liked an umbrella (I don't think there was one). They provided us with a soft shell cooler. The bed was very comfortable, and having the washer/dryer was great too. I highly recommend this unit and would stay here again.

Two small concerns you should address. Mold on ceiling in shower forming. Hard to avoid with humidity but needs addressing between guests.Second, I had to literally scrub the pots & pans before I could use them. Frying pans had burned on food inside and out. Other dish ware, glasses and cups were spotless. More than adequate supply of towels too.

Location was great, beautiful area with sunset every night. Condo had everything we needed. The only bad thing was hearing upstairs alot, using washer dryer late at night and one night my husband was awakened by pounding on metal as they were repairing washer/dryer. He was awake for several hours listening to the noise.
When toilet flushed it sounded like a waterfall.

The unit is well equipped, clean, and in the best location.
Waking up to the sound of waves and going to sleep to the sound of waves, watching whales, taking the trail to the beach, enjoying the swimming pool, visiting nearby beaches, power walking along the golf course, what more can you ask?

This was the perfect spot for us to celebrate our anniversary. The unit was in great condition, property manager was super easy to work with, and the pictures do not do justice to the views! The local area is great, and good hiking within walking distance (Queens Bath). We would absolutely stay here again...wouldn't change a thing.

This beautiful property is just as listed. Clean. Excellent sunset views from the lanai every evening. We could hear everything the neighbors upstairs were doing/saying. I don’t know if maybe they were extra loud people? They were only there for 2 of our days. It didn’t ruin our stay, because it’s Hawaii. The rest was splendid. Very quiet and private. Beautiful neighborhood/area. Would stay here again.

Oh my goodness… what to even say about this place! Everything was absolute perfection. The condo is beautiful inside and exactly as pictured,
But what you can’t beat are the absolute amazing views! We loved every second of staying here and are so sad to be leaving. It’s very conveniently located in the North Shore and was very easy to get around from here. This was probably our favorite VRBo we’ve every stayed in. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Lori was terrific to work with - specifically around the whole travel.hawaii.gov thing. And the location is perfect for exploring the north shore (except for the one way travel restrictions as they continue to work on the road washed away by the 2018 landslide). The grounds are lovely and well manicured.
The unit is fine but kind of impersonal. And stingy with supplies - could not find extra paper towels, no spices other than salt & pepper, no extra trash bags.

My husband and I took a trip to Kauai to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We found this space exactly as described, and it fit our needs perfectly during our stay. The space was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Views were stunning from the lanai (and even from the couch!), and we enjoyed waking up, and winding down each evening to the ocean just outside our door. The bed was very comfortable, and in October, we found that the condo stayed cool and comfortable both at night and any time we were around during the day. Definitely no need for A/C. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, but only had salt and pepper in the way of seasonings (just in case you're planning to do any cooking, you'll have to stock up at the grocery store in Princeville). Don't worry, there's plenty of good food around the island! The restaurant on the property made a great pizza -- I recommend the Garden Island. Since some other reviews mentioned noise from neighbors, I'll just say that we weren't bothered at all by the sounds of those around us. We would absolutely stay here again!

We've been in Princeville many times but this is our first stay at Pali Ke Kua and we loved it. The view from this unit is stunning and the location is great. The condo is very nicely decorated and well equipped and was very clean. We would definitely stay here again!
