This condo specifically is special to me. It hold memories of the last Father's Day that I got to spend with my dad. I'm so glad it was available again for me to stay in and enjoy. You will not be disappointed. I love the upgrades that the homeowner has done to improve their home.

We had a lot of space to spread out in this place. Tons of amenities including all of the beach equipment, which was a huge plus. It did not come with a beach umbrella, unfortunately, but I was able to rent one from the onsite renal company. It had a nice shared pool and hot tub, and there was a sauna which seem rare nowadays. We didn't spend any time at the beach and water in front of the resort but there were some people laying out and walking about. Thanks again.

We have stayed at unit 513 several times over the years. We discovered it in 1997 and loved it . Our last stay for 28 days was disappointing. The unit was not cleaned well upon our arrival and the carpets were filthy, it has has deteriorated over the years and is need of some serious updating. Floors are damaged and the finish is worn away in several places, bathroom grout is dirty and discoloured, coffee maker is several years old and is stained. The kitchen cabinets don’t look like the pictures anymore and are in need of repair. The bedroom linens are old and worn out . They were the same navy blue sheets we had several years ago and not cotton. The owner definitely has NOT put any money into keeping up the standards that most people expect considering the price asked. We love the Sugar Beach but will look for a better keep unit next time we visit in 2023.

Unit does have beach chairs, but only 3 so someone has to sit in the sand. One of the boogie boards is broken as well. Other than that, I would definitely stay again!

What we loved: The views. The fully stocked kitchen with cooking supplies. Provided towels and linens. Wi-Fi. The lovely lanai. The layout of the two bed 2 bath was nice. And they were relatively the same so neither of us felt shorted. Also appreciated the washer and dryer right in the condo. And .. right on the beach!

This location is awesome, it’s beautiful beach and not many people. You can snorkeling, swimming and strolling along the beach. The condo is roomy, cozy, clean and well equipped. The view is exceptional and it is a reason we rented this place. The only negative is the wind, it picked up in the afternoon and it can be strong at time. Overall, we will be back, soon I hope. Thank you.

Overall great location and room. Only issue was that the patio floor was not clean. However, we called the property management and it was cleaned within one day. Would stay at this location and property again.

This was our first trip to Hawaii. We loved Kihei and it’s proximity to the airport and lots of places to go and eat as well as the beaches.
The condo was very clean and had fantastic views.
Two things for future guests...
There are two buildings, the odd numbers are in one and the even are in the other. We arrived very late after traveling for nearly 24 hours and were exhausted and couldn’t find our unit. This is something that I may have missed in the check-in info, but if it’s not there it definitely should be.
Another thing is the beds are super firm, and don’t have box springs. This lead to mostly sleepless nights with back pain for my husband and I. And we are just in our 40’s and don’t have back problems.
Something to consider. This alone would make me not come back to this unit.
But I would be willing to go to other condos with different owners, since we loved the location.

Beautiful condo, beautiful and perfect location! The view is amazing, we sat on the balcony every morning with our coffee, and every evening with our cocktail. Well taken care of and the grounds are beautifully manicured 🌸 This place will be marked for future visits.

It was our second staying in this unit and the experience was as great as the first time. Hearing the sound of the waves all day long with a fantastic view is so relaxing. Everything is there :beach, pool, bbq, rental equipment from beach chairs to paddle boards. Very quiet resort close to good restaurants in Kihei.
We will come back for sure

We spent a week at this wonderful & expansive 5th floor 2 bd/2 ba corner unit in Kihei. The condo is well equipped, larger than expected, and more beautiful than photos. We spent a lot of time on the patio/lanai which had plenty of room with lounge chairs, a full sized table and extra chairs. The location on the island was ideal with easy accessibility to Waimea, Lahaina, and the Kaanapali Coast. Would highly recommend!!! Only recommendation would be to consider upgrading the mattresses & pillows.

Pictures don't do this location justice. I was thrilled to bring my family here in June. Perfect for a family of 4 or 5. Tons of room. Fully equipped kitchen. The icemaker is a little slow, so if you go through a lot of ice you may want to pick up a bag up the street. The couch in the living room has a hideabed, but the sign said it was only for owner use. No problem, my daughter slept on the top and it was more comfortable than the other two beds. If you are used to sleeping on a medium or soft bed, and if you are staying here a while, you may want to bring a mattress topper. The beds don't have box springs and sit on a large wood storage box. I couldn't sleep in because I woke up with my body hurting each morning due to the hard surface. But the good thing is that the view outside on the porch with the comfy chairs is a wonderful reason to get up. Coffee and breakfast on the Lani is paradise itself. Tons of chairs and an outdoor table as well. The Sugar Beach Resort it beautiful with large pool and hot tub. Tons of lawn chairs to relax on. Our condo had 3 boogie boards which our family used every day. Loved having a washer and drier as well. I'm soo thankful we found this place. Don't miss Sugar Beach Cafe and the fruit stand next door to it. Only 2 minutes away. Get their early like before 7:30am or they sell out of the yummy quiches. We will be back!
