this condo is in line with most of the nicer condos in Maui Kamaole. Clean, great location.
my only complaint: we called Vacasa's Maui office to state that we needed a can-opener and would like a light bulb for the lanai so we can sit our there when it's a little dark out. they were friendly and said they were on the case but we never saw a can-opener or light bulb and had to buy both at the store. Same thing happened last Vacasa trip to Maui Kamaole - never resolved the problem

We would have been perfectly happy with this stay except for the cockroaches and the local management's handling of the situation. We loved the quiet location, the beach equipment, and quality of the furnishings of this rental. The property description did say cockroaches were possible, so we expected to see 1 or 2 over the course of our 5-night stay (It's a ground floor unit in a tropical climate). Instead, we saw 5 alive (including one on our towels towards the end), and 2 dead after local management put out poison traps. By the end of the week, we had seen them in every room of the unit despite never eating there.
The $300 compensation we received did not make up for daily roach killing, daily phones calls to management, and the risk of contaminating our home upon our return, but it was the best they would offer. We cannot recommend this unit or any others managed by Vacasa.

This unit was clean and well stocked with kitchen/cooking gear. The manager was readily available and responsive - the beach chairs were in bad shape and they were replaced with new chairs within a day.
We have stayed in the Maui Kamaole complex a few times and it is an excellent property with well maintained grounds, bbq area and pools.

Had a great stay here with my wife and father in law. Simple cozy stay with basic amenities. The only things were the pull out couch being a very uncomfortable mattress for my father in law and the listed wifi password and name were different from the info on the modem but that wasnt a problem after figuring it out. Would definitely stay again for a week in Kihei.

A bug issue in the condo we stayed in. Lots of little ants, centipedes, and some larger bugs. Especially around kitchen and bathrooms

Better than what Im expected, the place is huge and clean, has a lot of supply such as utensils to cook, beach gear, pillows, blanket etc. I will recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay. Easter brunch celebration for nearby family was successful due to all the extra serving bowls, platters, casserole dishes, glasses etc.. Although there are 2 blenders, I couldn't seem to find all the corresponding parts for either. A Smart TV would be nice for rainy days. Beach toys and towels were plentiful. BBQ's and 2 pools were conveniently located. We will stay again!

This unit may not have the ocean views but when you are a 1 minute walk to the ocean, this unit hit all the high marks! Large, comfortable, clean and all the amenities that you need for a stay in wonderful Maui!

The condo have many amenities and was so close to a lot of beaches, shaved iced spots, and stores. It really was perfect! The pool and hot tub were so nice to be able to use. We even used the bbq grill one night next to the pool and it really felt like home. The condo was spacious and had two bathrooms which were great since it was four of us. Will definitely be staying here again!
