This condo was amazing, and just the right size for my friend and I. The view is amazing, we watched whales breech each morning from the balcony. The amenities in the condo made it feel like home, and the location was quiet, but still close to shops and dining. The pool is lovely, and the property is very clean and well maintained. The beach was not crowded and it was nice to be able to relax, while being steps from the condo. I would stay at this condo again and hope to return soon! Thank you!

The view of palm trees, beach, ocean, and migrating whales never got old. Very few people on beach, as well as a few turtles. Condo had room enough for four adults and in a prime location to walk to a grocery store, shops, and restaurants. Convenient parking and short drive to beautiful beaches, food truck courts, restaurants, shops(in Kihei and Wailea), fruit stands, and scenic trails. Have already recommended to friends!

Ok honest review here. Upon arrival I was a little disappointed with the overall upkeep on the bathrooms. HOWEVER, I got over this pretty quick. This location is excellent, the view is absolutely unbeatable and the best part is the beach is so private you have hardly anyone there unlike further down towards Wailea. I would suggest water shoes for the beach as there are some rocky areas but not bad at all. Saw 3 turtles in the water that swam up close to shore. A real gem of a property and has everything you could ask for including beach chairs, snorkel gear, fully stocked kitchen and great lanai with dining area to have your meals with a view. Glass doors slide out all the way to have a full open living room facing the ocean. Grounds and property are well managed. Grocery store one block away and restaurants very close. Pool is just below the lanai which I was a bit concerned about but it’s hardly used and didn’t have screaming kids. Would recommend absolutely.

We had an amazing time! The location was perfection. Watching the sunsets from the balcony, the location to the beach and pool - all wonderful. Would definitely book again. We stayed for 9 days and wished it was longer. My only two suggestions for the unit would be to add a mat at the entrance and a clothes rack. Otherwise it was magnificent.

The apartment is in the second floor of a three story vacationn rental complex. The balcony has a fabulous view over thermal pool and a small lawn right onto some sand dunes and the sea. Walking down to the beach we saw a large green turtle maybe 100 yards from the property relaxing on the beach.
The apartment is equipped with many useful accessories for the beach (chairs, cooler, boggie board, snorkling equipment).

We loved our stay. The apartment is really good. The view is amazing.
The location is close to everything you need. By the corner of the street there is a supermarket.
My only recommendation would be to add real doors instead of curtains to the bedrooms so people can have more privacy.
Other than that, I definitely recommend this place and I would stay again.

The unit was very accommodating and had everything we needed for the stay. The rooms were spacious and the living area had a beautiful view of the beach and pool frontage.
The AC was bad and did not cool
Down all that well. Wish there were a few more towels and toilet paper. Overall this is a very nice place.

Loved being right on the ocean with a beautiful view. You can get up and walk out of your condo to go for a relaxing walk on a beach or swim in the pool on the premises. The condominiums are not on a main road yet within walking distance to dining and grocery store. Very quiet, relaxing and family friendly place. Made many great memories here!

Location & setting very good. Quiet area. Facility barely adequate right down to 1-ply toilet paper, soap but no soap dish, warped fry pans that cook eggs at their edges, no tissues, etc. This unit is dated but would be very good if owners invested 5-10K$ to paint, update furnishings, etc..

This was a great waterfont location with beautiful sunsets if you wanted to be in the middle of everything. Good restaurants and beaches nearby. The property was older with rock hard master bedroom mattress. Asked for a mattress topper and other maintenance issues like air conditioner not operational, but no one showed up. For the price, we should have the most basic comfort. Hopefully they will buy a new mattress as I just read other reviews with same problem (wish we read before)

We have stayed at Hale Kai O’Kihei twice now. This unit had everything we needed, although a little dated. It was perfectly functional and well kept. Beautiful views of the sunsets and walking the beach to see the turtles was our favorite part. We were able to spot whales from our lanai with the binoculars left in the room. Thank you for a wonderful place to be. We will be back again!

The location and ease of finding things in this unit to cook with, play in the water with, and sightsee with is very impressive. There are binoculars in a basket under a end table and a cooler in one of the closets along with ice packs to take to the beach with you. It is awesome to have everything you need for a fantastic beach vacation at hand.
There are a few repairs that need to be done, such as a cabinet in the kitchen has a hinge that is broken and a ceiling fan in the first bedroom wabbles some when on high. But this unit was recently updated and it is very comfortable and extremely convenient to an enjoyable vacation.
The three of us decided we would stay here again the next time we were in Kihei.

I LOVE LOVE this Home Away from HOME! My Heart is still there. I don't want to leave ;) The place is clean and spacious. Lots of kitchen tools and orange juicer, and Smoothie blender are there to enjoy like your home. There is swimming pool and Ocean right there 1 minute walk. Time Supermarket is my favorite place within 5 minute walk for healthy foods, fruits, veggies as Vegetarian lover. I love my balcony to enjoy Sunset and Full Moon. Daniel, management office was very attentive and supportive. Maui Pie and Outdoor Shopping Markets for crafts and clothes is within 15 minute walk. I definitely come back. My family and I loved it. The condo was the perfect size for our family. We loved the view it was spectacular. However, the manager on site wasn’t as friendly. Other than that no complaints.
