Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

My wife, 13yr old daughter and myself were only on Maui for 6 days, sadly, but the condo had everything you needed including great beach chairs we used on several outings. We would stay here again!

The condo was clean and had easy access to everything within the resort. It was close to the main roads to reach all destinations within the Island. Love the location and well worth what you pay.

Lovely condo right on the beach! The condo has all the essentials to eat and prepare meals and you can walk to Ululani’s for the best shave ice. The bed is comfortable and there are beach supplies available for your use. North side of Kihei means you are closer to other island sites to visit, you don’t have to drive all the way through Kihei which can sometimes have traffic. Would love to come back to this condo!

We loved everything about our stay at Sugar Beach Resort. The pool and jacuzzi area, meeting people. Just wished pool stayed open till 10:00 pm. It was wonderful being so close to beach hearing the waves break through the night. The people working there were so very courteous & helpful.

We think the property was great and the unit was fine. Our gripe was Vacasa. We scheduled a two week vacation. The amenities in the unit were for a few days at most. Every time we had a problem we were directed to call Vacasa. And, the only response was a voice message system. For the first night, we didn't even have sheets and pillow covers for the rollaway bed. We ended up having to purchase: toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, soap for the washing machine, etc. Our gripes fell into two categories: No on-site management (call Vacasa's answering machine) and no supplies/services for longer than one week.
In the future, we'll try to avoid Vacasa.

Second time staying here. The cost of the room was affordable, which allowed us to visit Hawaii again. We would stay here again. The ground crew is amazing and keep everything looking beautiful. The gals working the little store/booking/ rental and question where awesome!
