The beauty of being in this spot on Kauai's eastern shore is the convenience - you'll be only three miles north of Lihue Airport, five miles northeast of Costco and Safeway for all of your grocery needs, and perfectly positioned for day trips both north and south. Tee off at the Wailua Golf Course only one mile south, or hop in the car for a day in sun-splashed Poipu (16 miles southwest) or beautiful Kilauea (21 miles northwest).
