Things were clean and smoothe. Walls were thin, I could hear outside people walking and talking, it may not work for someone who sleeps light.

comfortable studio, good size kitchen, bathroom a bit disjointed and the tub needs repair. Complex staff are helpful and friendly, the gardeners keep the green spaces immaculate.' Across the road at the main complex is a great waterfront and a pool. Each evening the day ended with spectacular sun sets.

Very comfortable studio that is clean and well thought out. The kitchen had all of the dishes and essentials to enjoy meals at "home". Close to town but far enough away to get away from the crowds. Very comfortable bed and covers!! Very enjoyable stay.

The plumeria trees. Studio apartment was neat and tidy, but far from clean.... Desperately needs a deep cleaning. Inappropriate cookware and eating utensils for a room that holds a maximum of 2 people . Air conditioner leaks/sprays water across sliding door. Vertical blinds are not all the same size, often fall off and are difficult to open/ close. Stove burners are not level. Bathtub needs to either be re-enameled or replaced. Appears white plastic based paint has been sprayed on. In addition there is no screen for the drain. The louvered Windows are dirty and except for the top portion are hard to open. Partial roll of toilet paper, and one extra roll provided and then must purchase your own. ( Unable to purchase a single roll, so plan on spending $8-10 and either donating it to the room or transferring home) The towel rack in the bathroom fell off, sharp edges cut my husband's foot in 3 places. Toilet handle needs to be jiggled or chain gets caught under flap and toilet runs. Careful with kitchen faucet must be turned off in a particular position not to leak water. All in all needs a serious cleaning and updating of kitchen accoutrements. Mahalo, Lynn Marie Lowe Would appreciate partial reimbursement for substandard arrangements.

I have so much to say about this place. I will try to keep this brief. I booked this place on August 9, 2022 to stay from August 13-14 (so one night). For some reason I didn't see all the additional fees when booking, and there was a $192 cleaning fee in addition to all the other fees, so I ended up paying $328 for a room that was advertised to me for $130. I live in a large house in a metropolitan area and professional cleaners do not cost that much for my house, so please explain to me how it was almost $200 to clean a studio apartment for one night. Apparently, I'm in the wrong line of work. No big deal, I'll just cancel right? Wrong. The cancellation policy said I could cancel by July 13 (a full month before I even booked it) and I would only be charged $92. So this place is a giant SCAM. Ok, fine. I made the mistake of booking this overpriced room, so I will live with that mistake. After I booked, the hotel emailed me for an identity verification. This process was so intrusive, I checked my credit score afterwards to see if they did a credit check on me because I have not been asked these questions since I took out a loan. Questions included the street address of a place I lived 7 years ago that I had to guess at. Just absolutely bizarre for just trying to rent a room. In between when I booked this place on August 9 and when I got to the hotel on August 13, I received over 10 emails, texts, messages, notifications etc. from this place. It was borderline harassment. I was desperately trying to enjoy my vacation while getting bombarded by messages. It got to the point where I thought about eating the money I spent and staying somewhere else before I ever even arrived. I get to the hotel, and the room is fine. There are tons of informational papers, but no wifi information. I arrived at 10 pm at night and I just wanted to browse the internet before bed. I call the 24/7 line that is listed, and I am on hold for 30 minutes before I fall asleep waiting for them to answer. The next morning, I had to text a different number to find out the wifi password. When I'm about to leave, I get a text stating click this link for check out procedures. I tried, the link was broken. I get more texts with a laundry list of check out procedures. The balcony and outside areas reeked of mold and mildew. The balcony and common areas are carpeted, and the balcony had a steady stream of water dripping onto it from the air conditioner, hence the smell. Also, the pillows were very thick and hard and hurt my neck, but that's a minor inconvenience compared to everything else I went through.

This place definitely nothing like the pictures. Smells bad. Rooms are dated, appliances and lamps, etc. may or may not work. Bathroom tub rusty, needing new caulking. Toilet ran constantly, had to fix myself. Worse than 1 ply toilet paper. Had to wash dishes before use. A/C unit didn't work properly, turning on and off constantly no matter what it was set at. Bad lighting. The windows dont close properly, and considering property is on the main road the noise is constant. The walls and ceiling are paper thin, so the neighbors walking sounds like stomping ALL DAY, started at 6am until 10pm. Birds outside the window SO LOUD ALL THE TIME, 24/7. Smoke alarm started beeping first night, every 30 seconds. Didn't hear back from maintenance until late next morning. Front desk isn't particularly nice, more like you're wasting their time with your questions. Laundry facilities cost you, yet there is no change machine, so come with lots of quarters. They were also doing construction in the parking lot, so parking very limited. If none of these things bother you, go on ahead and stay here. Maybe other rooms are better? I don't know how they could be worse...

The room wasn't as pictured but everything worked well enough and the stay was still enjoyable. Trolly stop is very close and can take you into town or down to the beach in just a few minutes.

My sweetheart and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this quaint B and B in the fern forest of Volcano. Shared breakfast was yummy, conversation with other guests and ambiance warm and cozy. Clean, well appointed.
