Enjoy all Kauai has to offer in this well-located condo at the entrance of the Princeville area. This is a welcoming condo with a lawn and trees just off the lanai and is located directly across from the pool and hot tub. This recently remodeled condo has free WiFi, flatscreen TV, a great lanai, and is suited to the trade winds that are nature's air conditioning.


A great day trip is to drive four miles down the hill to Hanalei. Be sure to stop at the lookout on the way down to take in the views! Hanalei has ample shopping, local dining, and incredible beaches which makes it a great way to spend a day (or two). If the kids are with you, take a family day a few miles down Kuhio Highway to Princeville Ranch where you can go ziplining, off-roading, horseback riding, or go on a guided hike. If it's a romantic getaway, consider a day at the St. Regis, which has a lovely beach, fine dining, and a full-service spa.

We had a nice stay here, everything was adequate, but outdated. The appliances in the posted photos do not match the stove and fridge in the suite. The fridge exterior is covered in rust spots, but worked properly. It met our needs and had everything available to cook in the suite, which was nice. The pool, hot tub and bbq facilities were great and very appreciated. The biggest disappointment we had was paying extra for the late check out (2pm) and finding out we were locked out of our suite at 1pm. Luckily the door from the patio into the bedroom was open (and and been the entire time we stayed, since we had assumed it would have been locked when we arrived for security), otherwise we would have been locked out without our phones to contact customer support.

Friendly emails/easy check-in. And we had a gift waiting for us on arrival. We liked the serene setting, the laundry and items to use that came with the condo, like the ice chest and boogie boards. We liked the convenience of having close parking (to ourselves until the last day when Unit B moved in), a gorgeous spa and pool, and the kitchen items that made us feel at home. Plus we had fast wifi. The neighbors were all very friendly. We didn’t like that the windows don’t close all the way, so there’s noise (roosters crowing) that is easily heard, and that we could hear the upstairs neighbors moving around. But that’s “apartment life”, and standard wake up call in Kauai. Also there’s limited privacy due to the shutter style windows. The good thing is I was aware of this from other reviews and pictures. And since those reviews it looks like they planted some plants to help with the privacy, so it wasn’t bad. Also, I didn’t know the bathroom is in the bedroom. So if you’re expecting privacy/to shut your door, it would leave the 3rd person without a bathroom. It worked just fine for our family.

Also there’s limited privacy due to the shutter style windows and the bathroom is in the bedroom. There were a few cosmetic flaws but the worst of them were that the blinds in the kitchen fell when pulled on to close them, and the pantry door falls off the rail every time you open it. They’re easy fixes, but annoying. The worst part was the cockroaches but I imagine they’re all over the island so we just kept our food in the fridge or sealed. Even with these things we still liked our stay here. The only recommendations we would’ve liked to have would be a stool for our daughter to reach the sink and maybe a beach umbrella. Otherwise it was excellent.

Very clean, had all the things you would need, great location, we were there for one short night, just wished there was AC. But there were lots of windows and 2 sliders to keep open, so not bad. And there were a lot of fans in the unit.

The property is clean and located 2 minutes away from Hanalei Bay where it’s the best to spend your day. Slightly dated, but overall well maintained. Kitchen is well equipped so it’s perfect if you plan to cook. The only minus to this property is the beach/pool equipment. The beach chairs are broken and umbrella was missing a pole piece so we couldn’t use them. Could use new ones.

It is perfect for a single person or a couple. Being close to several prime beaches. And I did not hear a rooster crow while at the complex’s. There were chickens and they had nothing to crow about.

Really would recommend finding another place. The unit has virtually no privacy. You can hear the silverware of the unit next door while they're eating--the curtains in the living room are see through--and the bedroom had broken blinds, allowing everyone who passed to see into the bedroom. The bedroom was facing a walkway and the pool area, so there were a lot of people looking into the unit. It was crazy. We contacted Vacasa to help with this and they were really aggressive about it not being an issue. Working with them was extremely stressful. It took them until the second night to call someone to come fix the blinds and they wouldn't be there until the third day. Not sure if the blinds ever got fixed, we checked into a hotel so we could sleep in peace.

We had a nice stay here. Everything seemed adequate, but that’s it…nothing really exceeded our expectations. It worked for our needs, and we were happy. There were some quarks that could be improved, like the dryer not taking 3 hours to dry a load of laundry, and more places for drying towels to hang. The small hooks in the shower were good for hanging wet bathing suits. The pool and hot tub were great and the neighbors (both locals and visitors) were all really nice people. Thank you

We only stayed here one night due to flight complications. But in comparison to the other place we stayed in, it was great. The kitchen was stocked a lot better than the other place, everything seemed to work. We were only there for about 12 hours, and spent most of the time asleep, the bed was comfortable. I just wish it wasnt 400 plus a night.

Sleeping accommodations we pretty bad. The master bed was fine but the hide a bed was an absolute joke. The owner also needs to fix a few things like the number of trash cans in the place, the gate to the patio, bathroom mats, hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper. We were constantly running to the store for stuff that should be standard for what we paid. Location is also not the best.

Unit is clean and the kitchen is well appointed. The pots/pans/knives could be nicer but everything you need is there and they have all the minor cooking accesories you could want. The slatted windows give zero sound protection but the complex is generally quiet. Sometimes you might hear other guests leaving early in the morning. The unit has some low end beach beach chairs and umbrellas which is helpful. It has good pool towels but could use some larger beach towels. The washer and drier are standouts, really solid laundry setup.

Central to all things happening in Princeville, it was a great unit to be in. First floor unit, it had tons of fans - both ceiling and floor - and they were needed in the warm Kauai weather. The windows provided nice breezes and helped keep the air circulating. Lots of clean towels, both bath and beach, with starter kit of shampoo, conditioner, soaps. Kitchen was equipped with plenty of knives, pots/pans, silverware, glassware, etc. Washer/Dryer were large capacity and worked well. The bed was comfy and tv worked well - although was aged. Internet was solid. Overall, a good place to vacation and a great place to be in Princeville.
