Find yourself just steps from the beach at this incredible, ground-floor condo with an ocean view right from your lanai. Kauai Kailani is located in the heart of the Kapa'a/Wailua area, which means you can walk to many restaurants, shops, and even a spa. With an updated interior, full kitchen, and a location near the outdoor pool, there is no doubt that this is an ideal place to stay on the east side of the Garden Isle. Equipped with a brand new microwave and washer/dryer, this rental's amenities ensure your trip will be a breeze.

Besides the beach, ocean, and pool, you can stroll across the street for your morning coffee at Starbucks and lunch at locally-owned eateries. Head north a mile and spend the day in Kapa'a, where you can park once and enjoy the beach, park, open-air dining, and shops. If you'd like to venture further, head north about 25 miles to the resort area of Princeville for golf and upscale spas.

Forty years ago we came to Kauai Kalani A for our honeymoon. Forty years later and many times in between we returned to Kauai Kalani A to celebrate our 40th. We did this because it is where our life together began. We hadn’t been here in fifteen years and what we found was amazing! The condo had been completely updated. They added in unit washer/dryer, Smart TV, plenty of towels , pool towels, toiletries, cleaning products etc. to make our two week stay the best possible. The most important part of this location is you are literally 25 steps to beach and 10 steps to the pool. The city of Kapaa and neighboring locations have lots of great places to eat or you can just eat in and enjoy your own oceanfront view. Purchase your own groceries at Safeway that is within a block from this location or head into Lihue for Walmart or Costco. If you have any issues Vacassa steps right up to help. Wonderful place to stay.

Family of 4 enjoyed a great time for daughters high school graduation. Loved the location of the property and condo (ground floor). When we arrived the portable fan wasn't working and there were only 3 patio chairs. I emailed the property manager and they sent the local manager over first thing in the morning to remedy the situation. He gave me his business card and phone number to either text or call with any questions or concerns. So helpful!! We had no issues the rest of our stay. There is no AC or laundry machines in the unit, but the evening winds were very refreshing. And laundry mat is just across the street. Costco and Walmart are about 15-30 min away depending on traffic and Safeway is just across the street. We all had an amazing time! Our favorite excursion hands down was the Napali Coast boat tour through Makana Charters!!

The condo we rented was clean and the management company was responsive. The VRBO listing was not explicit in that the property does not have air conditioning. Other units in the complex do have air conditioning but this unit didn't. In a tropical climate the listing should be quite clear that it doesn't have air conditioning.

Location location location. Close to airport and shops and some great restaurants you could literally walk to from your beach to Next-door. About the same time 40 to 60 minutes to go north or south. Accommodations were fine my only misgivings was there was no washer and dryer in the unit. But the pool was great the view of the ocean was great and the unit was extremely clean and inviting when we came in.

We have been to Kauai numerous times, but those past trips have involved larger groups with split stays in both Princeville & Poipu. This time, it was just my wife and I, and our main goal for this trip was TONS of hiking. Kauai Kailani 103 was the perfect location to accomplish this! Easy access to both the Kalalau and the Canyon hikes, then come back to enjoy the perfect pool with a great view. It was also great to have numerous Dining options that were walkable from the condo so as to not have the fight the Kapaa traffic. The condo was nicely outfitted with everything that we needed and was VERY clean when we arrived. We would not hesitate to stay here again, and plan on doing so in the future!!

We felt this was an absolutely perfect location and rental for our young family. It was our first vacation rental ever and we cannot wait to do it again. The condo had everything we needed to keep snacks and fresh fruit on hand for our kiddos and to cook a few meals on lazy beach days. We even made a fresh pineapple upsidedown cake to celebrate a birthday while we were there from fruit we picked up at the near by farmers market. The location was so convenient and it was easy to go either North or South to enjoy all parts of the island during our stay. Perfect location if you want to kayak and hike to the water fall. Proximity to local and major stores for groceries, and souvenirs was fantastic!! We loved sitting out on the patio and enjoying the view morning and night while visiting with neighbors in the condos next door.

The best thing about this condo is the view. Spectacular sunrises. Sound of the waves. Smell the sea salt. The condo itself is rundown and not well maintained. It is a bare bones condo: no washer/dryer, no A/C, one small towel bar in the bathroom so nowhere to hang wet bath towels, beach towels, bathing suits. The kitchen had some pots and pans, four forks, four spoons, four knives, three drinking glasses, one wine glass. The sleeper sofa is extremely uncomfortable, some of the pillows are old, lumpy and smelly. The outside doormat was ripped in half. There is no beach in front of the condo complex. The shoreline is being held up with massive sandbags. There is a public beach within walking distance. There is one rusty beach chair and a few beach mats, no other beach gear. I would not recommend a long stay in this condo.

Nice location, could see the ocean, king bed and kitchen. Could hear every step of the group above our room. Ice maker and one floor fan didn’t work. Poor air flow to the bedroom, hot at night. Rooms are small. Overall nothing bad but nothing great. Wouldn’t rent again.

Very easy getting into with communication, but very disappointed at household items. Great views & location if you want a place to sleep hearing waves. If your planning to have anyone join you, very limited kitchen items. 1 wine glass, no bowls for salad, bare minimum items. No washer & dryer which there is an area for but not included. Compared to other furnished units in the complex, it rates very poor in every area. The location was the reason for getting it which served a purpose.

If you went to Hawaii to hear the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach or to see gorgeous sunrises from your private patio, then you will love this place. It was just as we expected. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to the beach and town. Honestly for the money, you probably won't find a better place. It is centrally and conveniently located in Kappa'a which gives you a great location to visit the many different places on the island. We wish we stayed there the whole vacation, but we did move to explore another side of the island. Though in hindsight, this place would have been perfect to sightsee the whole island.

This place was the perfect location and was very well kept. It was so great to wake up everyday to the ocean at our window. We were so happy when we arrived. The stay exceeded expectations. We were very happy and grateful. Would highly recommend. Mahalo

Not as glamorous as the ad made it look. Older building with lots of wear and tear in the unit. Could use a coat of paint. Kids upstairs started running around at five am. Thin walls you can hear everything. No a/c! Fans in every room. Ceiling fan in bedroom did not work. Called maintenance and they never came to fix it. After multiple calls to property manager they offered $120 refund for our inconvenience. Still have not seen refund, checked out yesterday.King mattress was old and lumpy. No were to put luggage except in closet but no suitcase stand. Had to call to get pool code. Pool was slimy and not maintained properly. Lanai could use scrubbing! (bird poop) Musty moldy smell. Can tell it is a damp environment. Over priced! Won’t stay there again.
