First off the property itself and location is great. AC is a rarity in Hawaii and this unit has aircon everywhere except the second bedroom. Very well stocked with kitchen essentials. toiletries and towels were well stocked. Very clean and well decorated. Barely 5 mins from princeville center and foodland. 10-15 mins from hanalei.
There seems to be no garage remote and its annoying for someone to have to close the garage from inside everytime. The code for lockbox with physical key didn't work either.
But there is NO local property manager you can talk to directly. Everything goes to a toll free outside the US who of course have no direct personal idea or knowledge of the property. They will take min 3 days to respond to any email request. I asked about the garage remote and never got a response. I mailed regarding early checkin and beach essentials 2 days in advance and they responded on day 3 of our vacation. It's a joke. And even then they provided the wrong info saying the property has no beach umbrellas and chairs whereas in reality it has 6 chairs and 3 umbrellas! Vacasa has a crazy 10am checkout compared to even hotels who will allow you till noon and they have zero flexibility and refused even a 2 hour extension unless we pay (and we know the property was free that day as we were asked if we want to extend). Good forbid if something happens and you need quick response from a local property manager.

I love how close it is to beautiful hikes, beaches, and restaurants!
The master bed was very comfortable, and the whole condo was very spacious!
We did not use the facilities, but only because we were out hiking and exploring most of the day, and by night we loved relaxing in the condo!

Spring vacation in Kauai, Princeville this place was ideally located to beaches in the north shores of Hanalei Bay. First floor condo with a garage. Kitchen has all the things you need for home cooked meals.Very clean 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a lovely Lanai to have coffee in the morning and watch the birds and chickens.

Loved the location. The home was very clean and communication with management was good.other than you were corresponding with multiple people and getting different answers. My only complaint was that the sofas were very uncomfortable we stayed up to watch movies at night and had a had time sitting. Or overall stay was fabulous and would highly recommend this place.

Locations is great in Princeville. The home had everything needed to get your cooking and laundry done. Bathrooms were stocked just fine. AC was also a plus being it was very humid out during the day. The biggest issue which depends how you feel was when we showed up we were never told about construction being done on all the roofs there. We had workers laying down outside our patio using it for shade and leaving their clothes etc there on the porch. Plus the noise throughout the day. We had to keep our window blinds closed for privacy and we were unable to use the patio during the day as we felt it wasn’t a pleasant time to do so. A heads up would of been nice rather than a surprise. Also the couches in the living room belong in the dumpster. Please replace that as I felt those to be almost useless during the entire stay. Especially for anyone with back issues or amongst the older aged crowd. The bedrooms were just fine. Garage just fine and beach gear provided which was great. Overall a solid deal but a few things that really made the stay meh at times.

The Island of Kauai is really beautiful. Our stay at the condo was really nice. The surrounding were amazing. Even though our air conditioning went out for 1 day, our agent Noelani was a Rockstar. She was able to get out condo squared away which we know is very difficult. That's because construction technicians are typically on island time. I would recommend this vacation rental to future guest. The place was clean, the surroundings were beautiful and the restaurants in Hanalei bay were only 15 min. away. This is a fun place

Overall the facility location and unit floor plan were excellent. The unit photographs well however the living room furniture is old and extremely uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced. Would’ve given four stars if the living room furniture had been usable. The beds and the other furnishings were just fine. Cooking utensils were lacking and there were no barbecue tools. Additional beach towels would have been appreciated. A detailed maintenance inspection by the management company is warranted. If the aforementioned is addressed, we would consider renting this unit again.

This main floor condo with door opening from kitchen into the parking garage was perfect because our 17 year old daughter has limited mobility. She was able to get around this beautiful condo without concern of falling down stairs.
The condo itself had a fully stocked kitchen with enough variety of pots, pans, utensils and plastic food containers to make cooking nice meals a breeze and allow you to pack lunches the next day.
We also really appreciated the provided beach chairs, umbrella and cooler in the garage (which we ended up paying a small fortune to rent the following week in Maui). The A/C was nice for the hot & humid days and the small but efficient electric barbecue on the lanai made dinner prep convenient (as we didn't have to walk to the pool where the community barbecues were located). Each bedroom had a TV and the living room had a larger TV with comfortable furniture. The lanai was located on the NW corner so was shaded in the morning and evening which was lovely for sitting outside for morning coffee and evening cocktails.
The beds were actually comfortable and the pillows just right. The provided VACASA shampoo and rinse were much appreciated as well all loved the coconut tropical scents.
There is a grocery store 5 min away, a nice walking trail along the golf course and of course, Hanalei Bay is only 20 minutes from the condo with great restaurants and shops.
We would definitely recommend this condo and would return.

The only minor critique I had was that they did not initially supply us with enough shampoo and conditioner for our stay. But that was pretty minor detail considering what a great place it was!

Nothing beats the views from Princeville! 30 minute walk to multiple beaches and 20 minutes from a wonderful view of the sunset. The condo was nice and clean and every room has a private bathroom (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms). Great pool as well. Owners were very thoughtful and left towels and beach chairs as well as all of the kitchen utensils we’d require.

The condo is so beautiful, spacious with sliding doors looking out to a garden. Sitting on the lanai with coffee in the morning watching the sun rise was a daily pleasure. The birds (no roosters for us) sang and the weather of course, perfect! Nightly we’d take the short walk to the spot we liked to watch the sunset. We ate mostly meals prepared from home as the island was busy. We brought homemade lunches (grocery store in Princeville Center blocks away)to all our beach spots and borrowed the house cooler and boggy boards. We came home to an air conditioned house (it cools down quick) and did some swimming at the community pool and hot tub (waterfall included) and used the pool BBQ to cook meat for dinner. Truly a great vacation. We didn’t want to leave…ever.

We enjoyed a 10 day stay in this condo with days spent on the beach in Hanalei (one day watching outrigger canoe races), sipping Mai Tais at Happy Talk Lounge, golfing the Makai course and topped it off with an amazing dinner cruise at Capt. Andys out of Port Allen. The condo is in a prime location for activities on the north side of the island where we preferred to spend most of our time. It is well equipped with nice furnishings, TV and Bluetooth speakers to play your own selection of music. We highly recommend this condo.

It is right across the drive from the exercise room and pool which was nice.
The dining area needs an overhead light, which it looks like there was one at one time, although there is some lighting from the living room & kitchen, just more difficult to read at night at the table.
The summer cost is high but
we would very possibly stay here again.

We had a really good time! The condo was excellent & fully equipped! The only issues we had were the people staying above us! We could hear most of their conversations & could hear their children RUNNING AROUND WEE HRS OF THE MORNING!!!! I think they need to add insulation in the ceilings!!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. We didn't go to the pool, deciding the beaches and touring some of the nearby sites was more interesting, given that we were only there for two nights. The master bath is very spacious & the beds are very comfortable. It was super nice to have boogie boards and beach chairs in the garage for our use. Groceries and restaurants within easy driving distance. Check out the mini golf course about 10 min away (towards Lihue).

Spacious and comfortable two bedroom condo on the north part of the island. Close to some restaurants and some shopping. About 1-hour drive from the airport and Costco. About 10-minute drive to the beach. Cleaning fee too high for the cleaning quality.

Super nice unit. The pictures are not representative. It is bigger than it look on picture, we were very happy when we got on spot. Everything is there, full equip unit. There is a nice lanai, the pool is near the unit. Very nice location... near of foodmarket, beachs, restaurant, ... I will defenitly go back to Kawai soon, and i will rent the same unit! No need to pay the big price for a oceanview!

The rental was clean, and very nice. The flower that greeted us were beautiful and appreciated. We did have some suggestions for the owner or rental company. When renting mention of no walk in shower would be appreciated. The tub in the master bedroom is very high and deep and there were no grab bars or non slip mat in the tub. My husband did take a spill but he was not seriously hurt. We all felt this an accident waiting to happen. The sheets for the king bed were in poor condition. The bottom one on the bed was pilled and felt like you wee sleeping on sand and when I went to to find a change only one bottom could be found for the king bed. I was able to put it on but it had a hole on the one end so it had to be placed at the bottom of the bed. It was however of better material. The pillows were old, soiled and cheap and had no protectors. No extra King pillow slips were found. Replacement would be a good idea and protectors that can be washed between would help. We all felt it would be a good idea to include in the notebook a map of the complex showing where the office, pool and other areas were located. While we were there they closed off our street for repaving and we had to park and leave by a different route. A map might have made that easier. Over all we found everything we needed for our stay and enjoyed our time there. Thank You

There was a beautiful vase of fresh flowers upon our arrival and the a/c had the unit cool. Everything was as pictured, excellent furnishings, accessories, etc., which we find is unusual in rentals. The property really has no view, but we knew that when we rented it. The community was quiet and felt safe. We really enjoyed our time there!

This was a nice property in a great quiet location close to walking paths. The unit was large and in good condition. The carpet in the main area was a bit worn and a little soiled. Christine advised that they had cleaned it a number of times but certain stains continue to surface. The condo had all the amenities you would ever require and the few minor issues we had were addressed immediately by Christine from Bali Hai rentals who was excellent.
