Fabulous property! Had the best celebration of my 70th birthday with friends and family! The weather was lovely and the food was great! I would definitely recommend this condo to all of my friends. The hosts were in immediate communication and very helpful.

The resort was located right on the beach with lots of great amenities. They had two pools. The Garden pool was beautiful but if you want to relax without children, I would suggest you go to the other pool by the restaurant. We loved the fact that we had a stove, washer and dryer in the room. I would have gave it 5 stars but the downfall is the management. If you need assistance on site they don't have anyone that can assist you on the property. I had an issue with my television not able to get internet. I called the management number (which says it's out of Oregon) on Monday morning. The representative stated that they'll do a ticket for the on site manager to come out and take care of it by the end of the day or definitely by Tuesday. Tuesday night no one called or stopped by. I called again Tuesday night to ask what happened, the representative said they made the request but the on site manager did not show. They stated they would put in another ticket for someone to come out Wednesday. Wednesday came around and no call, no show. I called again, spoke to another representative and expressed my frustration. It was my girlfriends birthday and we planned on spending the night after dinner watching a movie and drinking wine. The resort has movie rental on site but we could not rent because we are in a privately owned room rental so we do not get that amenity. The resort can not help you with anything because it is privately owned unit. The new representative stated he will call the on site manager personally and get back to me. He did call me back stating that the on site manager did not answer their phone. He stated that he will do another ticket and get someone out Thursday. Well, today is Friday and we are leaving. Overall the resort is nice but you are on your own. Don't expect to get any assistance for the resort, the on site manager, and the management company in Oregon can't do much from the phone.

The view was beautiful but the condo itself needs some major updating. The carpet was filthy with stains and ripped up near the kitchen tile. Poor ventilation especially in the bathroom. You do not get access to all the amenities or free breakfast at the resort due to this is a private condo. Did not stock items very well. Less than half roll of paper towels. Little sample of shampoo and conditioner. Most places I’ve stayed stocked these items quite well. As we know Hawaii is very expensive. Overall it did its job but I would not rent this condo again.

Best location in Kaanapali! Whale watching from your room, snorkeling in front of the hotel, great beach trail leads to local shops at Whalers’ Village, and food truck park next door for wide variety of delicious choices. Gorgeous grounds, two pools, and even a gym in the hotel round out the best vacation ever!

Have never stayed north of the Kaanapali strip, enjoyed the area very much. November is a great time to come, lot less crowds everywhere.

The unit was very clean, very spacious, great view, the bed was very comfortable...BUT it needs ALOT of work! A paint job would do alot, chunks out of the kitchen counter, carpet is awful, pulling away from the tile badly, fridge is very wore out, None of those pictures were put on of course. I would definitely stay at the Aston Kaanapali Shores again but not this unit as it is now.

View was awesome, location is great. Walking distance to many restaurants/stores. Short drive to great shopping and awesome beaches. Resort is great, very well kept.
Room is pretty dated but that was expected. Biggest issue is the window in the Master Bed does not close properly, if windy the window whistles from the wind, it also causes room to be warmer than rest of the place. The window also lets in a lot of outside noise, which made for a long night when there was a wedding on the property.

The view from the room was beautiful! We stayed for 5 nights & had a wonderful stay! Aside from the old & torn carpet between the living room and kitchen in addition to other minor details, we agree, this room does need some upgrades. We spent most of our time going to places, beaches, and stayed outside by the beach/pool. Although there are partial benefits, the place itself was a great place to stay at. The staff at Aston Kaanapali Shores were all wonderful and our toddler had a great time. When I called Vacasa regarding some questions that I had, they were very helpful. Love how the room has the coded keyless entry, it’s own washer and dryer, was stocked with supplies, and had supplies for the beach. We would come back and stay here again, but we would definitely try other places as this was our first time in Maui. Working in the hospitality business with Hilton’s for almost 9 years, I understand how it all works. I think it would help to put some personal touches to the stay such as messages or phone call check in’s to ask how everything is going and if there’s anything else that we needed. Overall, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Pool was great, Beach was nice and had a natural rock breakwater to keep the waves reasonable for the kids. Room itself was perfect and had a nice view of the beach and ocean with a lanai that was great for a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine.

The ocean view from this unit is great. The grand-kids loved the pools. Also, the surf and sand at this complex was perfect for their boogie board skill level (ages 6-10)

Place was ready for entry when promised - smooth system for entry. Located across the street from a major food store and other shopping - very convenient! Nice view of the ocean - only partial as advertised, but still very nice from the balcony. Fairly spacious balcony - enough for a small table and two chairs and also a lounge chair. Previous visitors or owner had left 2 boogie boards and a small beach umbrella in the closet for renters' use.
Kitchen stocked with dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, and some spices. Would consider staying there again if returning to Maui.

The view is nice. However the carpet is pulling up, counters are scratched, ants are everywhere. Communication with the host was non existent and the bedding is rough and left imprints on our skin. I would look further afield for something better considering the costs here.

We were pleased with the Aston Kaanapali Shores condos: property was well maintained and laid out for easy accessibility. Our unit had a great view and was very comfortable. It definitely needed new carpet, though.
