Very comfortable accommodations with a “second to none” view if Hanalei Bay and the mountains. Grounds were immaculate, quiet and restful. Will definitely request this suite again. A few small suggestions: Stock small bowls for cereal or ice cream. An extra blanket for each bedroom would also be welcomed as our first week was cool (used a beach towel for extra warmth). Patio cushions need a wash. Thanks so much for sharing your space.

The view is wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked. The rooms are comfortable. The resort is so amazing! This is my favorite place in all of Kauai!

We enjoyed our stay. Property has nice pool area (pool was not heated however). Restaurant on site was nice to stay in one night. Short walk to beach and tennis on property allowed for a day of tennis. Overall a nice property and area with breathtaking views. Although fare warning; the roosters will wake you up at 5:30 am but once you get used to it, it is fine. Kauai loves their noisy roosters. The unit however while it had all amenities was a bit dated. Would rate a 7.5 out of 10. Enjoy your stay in Kauai!

The property has awesome views! It is adequately furnished, but in serious need of updating. When we arrived we found it to be a bit disappointing. The rugs, floor and furniture cushions were dirty. On a positive note all the appliances were in working order. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is very helpful. For the price I'd look elsewhere.

The resort is beautiful, and spacious. The rental was comfortable and clean. Decor is slightly dated. The family loved the pool! The walk to the beach is far and steep, and there is construction going on there. The only complaint we have is that the dryer was not working properly - there was no heat. It was not convenient to get in touch with the property manager as we needed it fixed right away before we packed up, and we only got an answering machine. The resort management was not allowed to fix the issue. I don't think the resort is back to full capacity yet, and now with rising Covid rates, would expect it to stay that way for a while. But more reason to cook at the unit and enjoy the beautiful sunset from your outdoor porch. We enjoyed our stay otherwise!

First of all, Hanalei Bay Resort is arguably the best place to stay in Princeville. The views of the mountains, bay and Bali Hai are spectacular. In addition to world class views from your lanai, there is a amazing beach at the bottom of the hill. It's good for swimming, snorkeling, and it's also a great entry point for surfing. On top of that, there is golf cart service if needed all the way down to the beach (last return cart is at sunset). The main pool has a newly reopened swim up bar and the restaurants at the resort are about to reopen if not reopened now. The lanai has an amazing view of the mountains, Hanalei Bay, and Bali Hai that is just slightly obscured by the roofline of another building. Since it's ground floor, you're bound to get visits from chickens and nene. Once you get off the lanai, it goes downhill. The screen doors are loud and rough. Trying to open them semi quietly is near impossible. We stayed in both 6101 and 6102 which join together. 6102 has the kitchen and living room. The living room has that damp mildewy smell when you first arrive which is typical with older places. It seemed to mostly go away with the shutters open or we just got used to it. The furniture is a bit mismatched and the rugs were stained and probably need to go. The bed frames in both rooms were wobbly and not the right size for the smaller mattresses and the dresser drawers were very rickety. A bedroom curtain bracket was barely in the wall when we arrived. Also, several pillows, linens and towels had stains. I'm not going into ALL the little negative things because we were still comfortable there. However, after talking to some others guests and employees and seeing some other units, it seemed clear that the units managed by the actual resort (not Arrived) were in much better condition. 6101/02 have just been neglected.

We loved staying in this unit for our Kauai vacation. We enjoyed waking each morning and having a cup of coffee on the patio, looking at the incredible view of Hanalei. The condo is well appointed and we were very comfortable. We enjoyed using the sand toys and chairs provided and the pack n play was a nice addition! This unit is perfect if you have small children so that you don’t have to worry about them falling off of a balcony but you still have the views to enjoy. The Hanalei Bay Resort is stunning, and worth the money but be aware of the additional resort fee and parking fee. The pool is not heated but that didn’t bother our kids too much. Overall we had an amazing time and wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

The setting is a 5 star! Sitting out on the lanai and taking in the magnificence of the Hanalei Bay was worth every penny. It is such a peaceful spot. The resort is large enough to enjoy privacy but small enough to get around easily. The pool area is lovely and the staff is very nice! The condo is very elegant and comfortable. I gave it a 4 star for cleanliness because the windows were smudged, and for me, it impeded the stunning view. A little Windex and I was happy. The AC works really well and is very quiet. There is no AC in the 2nd bedroom, however there is a ceiling fan and a room fan and a large sliding glass door for evening breezes. The kitchen is well equipped. There are plenty of towels and supplies throughout the condo. The bed was comfy too. Warning--do not feed the geese or they will beg non stop. The roosters also crow all night so ear plugs work nicely or use the fan from bedroom 2 to dull the noise. The bird life simply adds to the Kauai atmosphere! There is a daily resort fee and parking fee that is not disclosed in the VRBO invoice so be sure and add that to the final cost of the room.
