We were delighted with our stay. The kitchen is well-provisioned; the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the patio. The location is ideal, with two outstanding beaches within walking distance. We used the washer-dryer. The pool and jacuzzi are popular, but we only used them once - we kept going back to the beaches for snorkeling, beach walks, playing in the surf, and watching the seals and turtles. The apartment is well-provisioned with beach towels, snorkeling and beach gear. The owner responded quickly to questions.
If you are coming in after dark, the keypad to get access does not light up until you touch one of the numbers. Parking is limited to a single space.

Most favorite about this venue is location and ease of use. A 5minute walk to two different beaches for kids to boogie board or wade/snorkel and play at the playground. Equipped with all beach items a family may need. Less than 5 minute driving distance to shopping area and restaurants and grocery needs. Quite condo complex, clean, landscaped and maintained. Pool, hot tub, and BBQ option conviently located next to this unit. Ground floor, equipped excellent with washer/dryer, towels, beach towels, cooking utensils, blender/coffee/toaster ammenities. Would hands down visit again!!

We had a wonderful vacation! 5 minutes walk to the beach where you can swim, snorkel, surf, watch turtles every morning and evening. Lots of good restaurants close by, lots to see within 1 hour of driving, 10 mins walk to the beautiful hike along the coast. Condo is very spacious, clean, has air conditioning in all areas, washer and dryer in the unit. Best vacation ever!

Property is spacious, comfortable and well-stocked. For the wedding, we needed an iron and board which the owner had in the closet. We loved the three zone air conditioning!!In our family some run hot others cold. Big beach towels came in handy for Napali boat ride. Joel kindly let us check in a little early from our Calif. flight.

I love being able to say "I watched a gecko drink rainwater from a heliconia while I sipped coffee on the lanai." Love the condo, very clean, spacious and comfortable, love the pool and hot tub, but if I had to pick a favorite thing it's how close it is to so many beaches and dining options. Take a 5 minute walk to the Koloa fruit stand, I got to taste longan and sapodilla for the first time! Truly made for a magical trip. Absolutely will stay here again if I am ever lucky enough to come back to the garden island.

Pictures actually don’t do this condo justice. The space is even nicer and seems larger in person. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beach gear was perfect for the family. So many boogie boards, sand toys, chairs and a wagon to make the quick walk to the beach very easy.
The host communicated timely and was quick to respond to us on our day of arrival when we asked if we could check in a little early. We would definitely stay here again.

The layout was nice for 5 adults and the location to the beach, restaraunts and pool was perfect. Kitchen was extremely equipped with all you need. The only downfall for us was there wasn’t any beach chairs which we are used to. Highly recommend this unit.

The owner is so easy to work with. We have stayed here twice now and intend on returning. The location to the ocean is an easy walk, even for kids and seniors and there is a wagon to move your beach gear. Everything needed for the beach from chairs to towels is here. Don’t want sand today? The pool is about twenty feet away. It is super clean and has a hot hot tub, not the wimpy bath tub kind. Hardy anyone was in the pool during the day so it was also wonderfully peaceful. The property has multiple pools so everyone isn’t crammed into one. The walk to the beach is paved and gorgeous. The grounds are immaculate and the other condos just beautiful so it will be the best 10-15 mins ever. The condo itself is lovely and spacious. Both bathrooms have ample room for 2. There are two private lanais, two tvs you will probably never use along with AC that will most likely not be needed. The kitchen has everything you would need. The winds here are aromatic and just breezy enough. Also this side of the island gets enough rain for things to be lush but only at night or maybe for 5-10 minutes during the day. Joel is such a great host I’m sure he arranged that! If you get a chance to visit this property do so! You won’t be sorry. About us: 4 midwesterners, adult family.

We had a wonderful time. Short walk to the beach to snorkel and see turtles/seals on the beach. Everything is such a quick drive away. The condo had everything we needed. Best part of vacation got engaged overlooking a waterfall. Thanks for letting us stay.

We loved our stay at this condo. Both Joel and his brother Alan were very responsive and helpful when needed. The condo itself was one of the larger two bedroom rentals we’ve ever had and the 3 AC units kept it very cool, which was important to us being there in hot August. The condo was clean and fully stocked w all that we needed for our stay. Keyless entry great for adults and teens coming and going. If you want an AC unit in Poipu for a reasonable price, this is a great one.
A few things to consider:
1) the beaches are a bit of a walk. Not bad, just further than I envisioned. They’re also the most crowded beaches we encountered in our 10 days on Kauai so we didn’t spend more than one afternoon there. We did walk down most mornings and evenings to see the turtles beached and there was many and they are BIG! Really cool!
2) the wifi wasn’t great during our stay. Had trouble logging on for daily hour of work and movie streaming. Still worked but we got kicked off or it was “buffering” often. No big deal but I wouldn’t want to work remotely in this condo, if that’s a consideration.
3) there is a photo online of a larger pool with the beach in view. Note that is not a pool you can use while in this rental. The pools are locked to get in and OUT, so you can’t easily get into or out of bigger pools. The one right outside the rental is fine - just very small so when a couple families are already in the pool, it wasn’t the best. As a result we only used it 3-4 times. We walked to the second small Regency pool but it had same issue. Maybe just caught it at a busy season but use of a non-Regency pool would be nice. Alan kindly explained there is a fob to another large pool (my kids peaked in and said it’s nicer) but you have to request him to come open that. So my only suggestion might be to take second pool photo off the listing or change instructions for using the fob-accessible pool that are in the condo, since it’s no longer provided to guests.
Overall great stay! AC in each bedroom was a must for us this trip and we were surprised at how large this condo was! An added bonus was this was our first stay in Kauai where the chickens didn’t wake us! I think bc of how the condo is maybe situated in the resort but that was fine by us :)

Nicely secluded from road noise and passers-by. One of the lanais faces a pool, but the other is sheltered. Unit was shielded from hot afternoon sun. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, internet worked fine, ac worked well, parking and beach access are easy, Very close to many restaurants, beaches, etc. 10-minute walk to the swimmable beaches of Poipu. Check out the tortioses after dark--up to 60 at a time on Poipu Beach.

Our experience was exceeded with Joel’s condo. The pictures don’t truly show the overall size - the corner unit was plenty of room for our family of 4. We loved the quick access to the pool and the walking paths to multiple beaches. The grounds are so lush and the staff that takes care of them were friendly and professional.
Joel thought of everything you could possible need - from boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers … to a hiking pack for a small child, toiletries in the bathroom and a fully stocked kitchen. We also loved the electronic lock and the reserved parking space. It made it feel like ‘home’ especially after full days of exploring the island.
This was my third trip to Kauai and the first time staying at Joel’s — hands down I would stay here again (and will!) Mahalo!

The property was clean and well kept. All of the things one could need was included; there's an outside closet with snorkel gear, body boards, sand toys, etc. The unit is right next to the pool which is convenient, but a couple of the nights did get a little bit louder than we would've liked. It's also a quick 3 minute drive to the beach or 10 minute walk, which ever you prefer. It was nice to have our own place to spread out and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here the next time we're on the island. We picked this property due to it's location, A/C, and it didn't disappoint. Joel is a great communicator and this being the first time we used VRBO, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The unit was great, would definitely stay there again! All was perfect except blinds in master bedroom were very thin so if you need a dark room for sleeping it could be an issue as you could see all lights outside through them. Host was very responsive and unit was very quiet and well equipped!

This condo was a beautiful and comfortable oasis for us during our trip to Kauai. The main lanai was a peaceful setting for conversation, a cup of coffee, or a good book. The kids appreciated the board games and the puzzles (we finished one of the puzzles during our stay!). Joel thought of all the conveniences including a wagon to tote items to and from the car, as well as beach and day trip necessities (i.e. beach towels, boogie boards, coolers, beach chairs). We took a short 10 minute walk each morning and each evening from the condo to Poipu Beach to observe the honu leaving the beach for the day and coming back ashore for the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the condo, and would definitely stay again on our next trip back to Kauai!

Came over as a family of 4 from Oahu for a medical conference at the Grand Hyatt for my husband. Decided to stay at the condos instead, and so glad that we did. We loved having two rooms and two bathrooms, as well as the kitchen, dining area, and living space. The resort was a nice walk over, which was ideal. The condo is right next to the pool, which my girls liked.
Overall, a great stay. We will definitely stay here again if we can on our next inner-island trip.

This ground floor condo was perfect for two couples. Spacious, very clean, well equipped, great location, easy communication with owner, comfy beds. The condo was quiet - never heard the family upstairs. Joel was always prompt in answering our questions before arrival, and very responsive to a few minor issues we had the second day. Alan, his maintenance man, was over in record time to replace burned out light bulbs and replace a missing key fob. Joel even called the day we arrived to let us know the condo had been cleaned and we could check in before 4.
We had an incredible fun and relaxing two week stay in Joel's condo. Loved the location, close to the pool, hot tub and bbq, and an easy stroll to Brenneke's & Poipu Beach and the Hyatt. The condo comes with a wagon that we used to bring in groceries, and when we went to the beach. Plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, fins, a small cooler etc in the closet off the master bedroom.
The grounds are beautiful, and the tropical plants surrounding the lanai provide privacy and a lush tropical atmosphere. It was pouring rain, and very muggy when we arrived. We were SO glad to have air conditioning.
The kitchen has all the basic necessities, and is roomy. We stocked up at Costco and Safeway in Lihue on our second day. There are stores nearby but they're a lot more expensive, and limited. Grilled locally caught fish, and steaks on the BBQ by the pool after we'd watched the sunset. Discovered the best spot was on nearby Poipu Beach.
Early morning walks revealed the Hawaiian green sea turtles, resting on Brenneke's beach, coming in after sunset. Several mornings there were monk seals on the beach.
The pool and hot tub were always clean and inviting. Plenty of lounge chairs for relaxing.
Staffing in the hospitality industry is a challenge on Kauai, just as it is on the mainland, Highly recommend making reservations for popular activities and restaurants well in advance.
All four of us recommend this condo. We look forward to returning.

My husband and our kids (ages 7-11) loved staying here. This was our 5th time vacationing on Kauai and our favorite condo rental to date. The location in Poipu is ideal and the walking paths to 3 of the best beaches on the island sealed it for us. The condo was cozy and comfortable. This condo was clean, well organized and the property manager Joel was amazing. The pool is just steps outside the front door. Breneckies Beach (our favorite) was just a short walk away, down this pretty path. Did I mention all the beach must have supplied with condo. Joel has thought of everything. The location was centrally located, to travel the west side of the island as well as the east side. Don't forget the JoJo's Shave Ice and treat yourself to an amazing dinner at Gaylord's. Beautiful island, we will be returning.

Joel and his contact on the island were very responsive; I had a few mishaps of my own doing (losing the email with the instructions of how to check in, locking myself out of one of the rooms) and they responded quickly. The unit is spacious, clean and comfortable and everything you would need is provided. They were very gracious in allowing a baby rental company to drop off items for me. A fantastic location - I didn't rent a car and my toddler and I walked everywhere; we did have friends travelling with us who brought us groceries and took us to a luau. Would definitely stay again!

The condo was great. I especially appreciated how well it was supplied with the basics. And beyond the basics we made good use of the beach toys. We liked the close access to pool, grill. The facility as a whole was quiet and relaxing. Having never been to Kauai before, we did not anticipate the distances getting to beaches so spent more time in the car than anticipated.
