The unit 112 rental location was perfect. Its location on the beach with access to sand was ideal. We snorkeled in the mornings around the rocks nearby and saw turtles and many tropical fish. The snorkel gear was there in the storage chest. The sunsets were amazing. Even though there was no air conditioning we were very comfortable. The trade winds pick up mid morning and kept us cool. The unit needs some updating in kitchen and baths but everything was super clean. Parking is easily available and there is a grocery store just 10 min away. It's a great location and we would definitely stay there again.

the location has one of the best views and community in the area. plenty of space and comfortable furniture found throughout. as an avid art collector, I appreciated the attention to detail on the artwork and decor in sync with direct lighting. very tastefully done. cant wait to visit again this year and many more after.

Love this part of South Kihei. Overall very friendly and safe condominium development. This unit needs a little refresher in my humble opinion. The tile floor needs some work and the kitchen needs a little update. Other than that we absolutely loved the location and layout.

Yes, the unit appliances and fixtures are a little dated but the view, patio and easy access to the beach make this a fabulous unit!
I spent hours listening to the waves, watching for whales, walking along the beach and eating on the patio. I will definitely return!

GReat location. Flooring need replacing as cracks in tiles, but overall nice.
Wasn't thrilled with the common area in front of lanai with other tenants having a wedding, reception and parties for 3 nights.

This ocean front view and porch were ideal for our stay in Maui. You cannot beat the location. There is some need for renovations and updates but very comfortable and clean. Lots of space for 4 people. Plenty of linens, gadgets, and items that could be used by those of us staying. Overall a great experience.

the property is centrally located and very easy to get anywhere. Super easy access to walk on the beach off the lanai, maybe 20 steps or so and beautiful views. Nice comfortable beds and furnishings. They had brand new beach chairs waiting for us, swim toys and lots of towels. The only negative, is that the two driveways are hard to find in the dark so we suggest the condo put out a flag or land marker to make it easier to enter the driveways. Overall, the 3 of us had an excellent vacation.

The unit was well stocked for kitchen supplies and had boogie boards, flippers for snorkeling, Beach towels, 4 Beach chairs, and 2 umbrellas. We've stayed in other units here that have better views, but being on the north side of the building had shade most of the day on the lanai which was nice. This unit still has great views and is close enough to enjoy the sound of the ocean waves crashing. This unit could use a little updating/maintenance, but was still very nice. Martha was very responsive to communication and very helpful with anything we needed. We would stay here again.

First, we pulled into a secluded parking lot. Walked through the open air building that is shaped like a feather. It has all the old Hawaiian charm, yet updated and very well-maintained. Lush greenery all around. We walked to our unit and was so pleasantly surprised by the view! The unit is perfectly placed on an angle that gives you a spectacular view. Yet private. It is creatively arranged so it feels very spacious.
Right outside the door of our unit, was a common sitting area with cozy chairs and a couch to take in the ocean anytime you like. We were able to meet others in this gathering place.
At first we were concerned about the security of the first floor. And soon realized that we could put a bar down in the sliding doors and sleep to the sounds of the waves. No AC situation was not a problem since there were so many fans and an incredible Crossbreeze through the master bedroom at night.
We really appreciated the comfortable beds and upgraded linens and towels.
We sat out on our private lanai and watched the whales and the stars at night. The grassy area in front of the lanai was such an added bonus with our grandson. What a wonderful unit.
And then it’s right across the street to a walking path that goes right to restaurants and shops or just a quiet stroll through a beautiful tree lined neighborhood. Perfectly located to go anywhere on the island by car.
We also used the laundry, which was very clean and easy to use with the app or quarters. The manager and maintenance crew were always doing something to keep the grounds well-maintained.
This condo is such a gem and we hope to get back in the future.

We loved our stay at Hale Hui Kai! The condo was beautifully appointed and the kitchen well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were great. The view from the unit and proximity to the beach were amazing. The condo has great art and professional lighting which made for a very upscale artful feel to the place. Martha was super attentive and great to work with. I hate to give such a glowing review because I don't want it to be even more booked up than it already it is, but it is a great spot! We hope to be back again some day.

The condo was great- had everything you needed for a relaxing vacation. It was so nice to be able to walk off the patio & have the pool right there, then just steps away from the beach. You could sit on the patio & watch the sunset. Highly recommended - I’d definitely stay there again!

Others complain of the AC . If yo are from the mainland, after a few days your body gets used to it. Fans at night windows open. But we went in late September early October.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The overall location, proximity to the beach, and amenities are excellent. Two major drawbacks are the lack of interior updates and lack of air conditioning. First, the only sliding door that fully opens is the main door leading to the lanai. All others open just slightly and with much difficulty. There is also a hodgepodge of tile, cabinets, faucets, and countertops throughout, which isn’t a dealbreaker, but seems as if the owners do not want to spend the money to appropriately update. An example is the kitchen island countertop is truly pieced together. Finally, and most important for summer visits is the lack of a/c. The heat and humidity make it very difficult to sleep at night, even with the trade winds and fans. I do not recommend reserving this unit for the summer months.
