Enjoyed our stay at the property and the resort area. The small beach and recreation area were perfect for our two young grandchildren as well as for the adults who enjoyed the snorkeling and the gym.
The property was spacious for our group of eight, and very well stocked, including items for the youngest guest.
Mike was very prompt with dealing with any issues encountered at the property.
Would consider staying again depending on the size and age of our group.

Overall, we were very happy with the home. The unit had great access to the swimming pool and was in walking distance to the ocean and shops, etc. I liked the fact that you were close to the market, coffee shops, and other stores but that they were 1/2 mile away. The home was in good operating shape and was beautiful. The kitchen and indoor and outdoor dining areas perfectly accommodated our party of 11. The swimming pool gate was approximately 100 yards from our front door and there is a nice pavilion for use. Overall, it is a wonderful place and I would use it again when going back to the Big Island. The home could use a deep cleaning, baseboards and entryway to the home as well as the outdoor area near the laundry facilities. It is also time to replace the propane grill. Our families stay at KaMilo 202 was wonderful. Even with 7 adults, two children and a baby, the house felt spacious and was well equipped. This unit is a very short walk to the pools and hot tub. The house was very clean and the provided beach towels and gear along with a nice cooler made our travels much easier. We really enjoyed the lanai and used the nice bbq'r a couple of times during our stay. While the views from the lanai are limited to the well landscaped backyard it was very peaceful and quite. Mike and the owners were very helpful and nice!

The home had lots of room for our family. The Mauna Lani resort was beautiful. The private beach at the property was a hit, fun swimming for the kids and great snorkeling as well. Beach gear is supplied at the home. We appreciated that the swimming pool was right across the street and garbage dumpsters were nearby. We enjoyed our stay!

Mauna Lani is a perfect place to stay with easy access to the beach, tide pools, pools, restaurants, shopping, and Foodland (grocery store). Our host provided a list of local golf cart rental places and cruising around in a golf cart for a week was a blast.

Overall it was a great stay! Property was a little dirty upon arrival but nothing major. We got used to have rentals with at least bare minimum in the kitchen (salt, pepper, oil) but that’s not a big deal as we had to shop for food anyways. Some things could be improved on such as making sure the grill is ready for use and some of the showers pressure/heat come and go. Otherwise the property was great for our large family vacation. Pool and hot tub were right across the road as well, making it easy to walk over and enjoy. Communication was super easy and the location was great as well!

Had a great time visiting the big island. We’ve stayed in Mauna Lani a few times before and in Ka Milo once before and Ka Milo 202 did not disappoint. What a great property! Beautiful layout and decor with comfortable beds. Great proximity to pool. The only issue we had was the sliding sectional pieces haha they could use some pads on the bottoms to keep them in place on the smooth floors! SRP management even accommodated our last minute request for a late checkout!

This home was the perfect stay for our week exploring the Big Island! We had 9-10 adults the whole week and were completely comfortable with the bedrooms, bathrooms and living space. The house was immaculate and beautiful, and so close to so many beautiful beaches and historic sites. The kitchen was well stocked, as we did eat in most nights. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

House is gorgeous and perfect for large groups. Pool/workout room is steps away and very well maintained. The home has boogie boards, beach chairs, an umbrella, plenty of beach towels and is in a nice gated community. Any problems that we had were very quickly remedied and communication was excellent. Very accommodating and loved this home. Clean with nice beds and bedding. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

First off we had a couple of minor maintenance issues that were taken care of quickly and professionally.
Cooktop unnecessarily complicated. Plenty of sheets and towels. Lots of beach gear too and having access to the nice kid friendly beach was a definite plus. Pool was really close which the grandkids appreciated. Also we had three cars so having extra parking so close was a bonus. Exterior was not as clean as it could have been especially the approach to the front door and under the beds.
Overall, a great family location.

Take me back! Our stay here with our family was definitely one for the books. This property was perfect for our size group. Upon arrival we appreciated the ease of check in and access to the home. The box of cookies was a great welcome gift and nice touch. The unit was very spacious for all of us and clean. All the amenities to live in for our 8 days on the big island beach items, fridge, bathroom ammenties, washer/dryer etc. The location was perfect as it was not only near the pool but also close to the nearby shopping center we used for groceries and the Fairmont resort and Hapuna beach. Any questions we had were quickly answered by our property manager. Overall I highly recommend staying here and we have already rebooked for next year that’s how much we loved our stay here at Kamilo.

We were in town for our son’s wedding at the Fairmont. This was a great location, it was exceptional clean and the manager was so helpful. My daughter was with us with her 8 week old twins. Her flight out was at 6 pm. The manager was kind enough to let us stay through the afternoon so the babies could have a cool place to nap and get fed. He was so nice about it, he understood what a difficult afternoon it would have been to have kept them in the heat all day. That kindness isn’t always found these days. I would go back to this property every time I go to Hawaii!

We found this property beautiful and comfortable from the moment we walked in. The air conditioner was on and the house was delightfully cool. The furnishings are elegant and understated, functional and inviting without creating unnecessary clutter. All the little details that add that extra touch were provided, including a printer, beach gear (boogie boards, beach chairs, cooler, even beach umbrellas and sand toys for children), super comfortable beds, higher end barbeque on Lanai. The resort is amazing with some of islands best snorkeling at the beach club. Truly a delight! The property management was very responsive to our questions.

Our family enjoyed staying there. The location is a little far from gas stations but everything we needed was on the property. We almost ran out of the provided toilet papers during our stay there, but the property manager delivered us some more toilet papers in the mid of our stay there. The property manager was very responsive and helpful in answering the questions I had. The private beach access was nice. However, we preferred going to Mauna Kea beach instead. There are two swimming pools, two jacuzzies, and an exercise room with treadmills and some exercise equipment. The location is right next to Petroglyph park and the hike was pretty easy. One small market is very close by and we were able to get most of our groceries there after our initial shopping at the Costco close to the KOA. I would recommend this property to anyone who plans a family gathering or looking for a place away from the busy tourist area.

Check in was easy, the hosts were available if we had a question and provided the most comprehensive guide to the area in their guest book we’ve ever seen - incredibly helpful! We traveled to Hawaii with my parents and our three kids for a week in paradise over Christmas. The layout of the house was perfect as my parents were able to enjoy the master bedroom on the main floor while my wife and kids were able to use the downstairs bedrooms. The added bonus of having beach chairs and bogey boards made it easy to check in and head right down to the Mauna Lani Owners' Beach Club.
As we enjoy cooking, we found the kitchen to be well appointed and the living room and lanai made for a comfortable place to dine and gather.
The KaMilo pools and athletic facilities are located right across the street, which was also extremely convenient.
We look forward to returning hopefully sooner rather than later.

We celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary at KaMilo with our family of eleven people. Our grand children range in age from teenagers to 15 month old twins. We particularly appreciated the baby equipment available to that family. The staff was responsive to any requests we had. There were an abundance of beach towels as well as bath towels and the overall furnishings and appliances were top notch. We would stay at KaMilo again.
