Country Club Villas #117! The interior features art from the Big Island and a modern dining area in an open floor plan. When you walk into the space, the lanai beckons you immediately. The covered lanai and private garden offers outdoor dining and living with panoramic views overlooking the golf course and the sea. Condo is located on the ground floor but not entry level.
The primary bedroom with en-suite bathroom has a Cal King Size bed with views of the lanai, garden and ocean. The guest bedroom has a Queen size bed is adjacent to a full bathroom which also contains a washer & dryer. Both bedrooms are equipped with TV's.
Country Club Villas is a beautifully maintained complex located in the quiet area above Keauhou Bay. Take a 15-minute walk down to the Bay where you can go snorkeling or canoeing on an outrigger. Onsite amenities include a choice of 3 swimming pools and 2 tennis courts. The Keauhou Shopping Center is nearby with grocery, shops, dining and a movie theatre.

Contemporary furnishings with lovely lanai right on the golf course. We could see the ocean from the kitchen and the lanai. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. Great location with small harbor walkable as is the local shopping center. Management company was outstanding and immediately responsive to small issues. We stayed two months and booked again for next year.

We thought location and amenities were great with the view we had. Pool location view was amazing for sunsets.
The actual unit was slightly more dated than it looked in photos, but it didn’t bother us personally. We did have doors open and screens closed most of the time. The unit only had fans- no AC which we didn’t realize.
Mold on grout In main bedroom shower. I swept nightly and when sweeping under edge of fridge swept out a lizard- and we found a cockeroach in the kitchen.
(lots out but the dumpster during nighttime -one dead one on lanai). They did spray during our visit and seems like they do regularly. From what Ive read this is normal on all islands.
Other than that everything was pleasant.
We loved the view and lanai!!! Price for what we had felt like a good deal!

The view from the condo to the ocean is wonderful and the lanai is very comfortable. You can enjoy a cocktail just sitting and looking out on the view. There are some attendant noises with being on a golf course, but this is not every day. The pool was terrific and we used it most every afternoon.

The condo is nicely furnished and kitchen has ample cookware and serving dishes! The view off of the veranda is great - overlooking hole#18 on the golf course and with ocean in the distance. Vertical shades need a bit of work.

Our stay here wasn’t great.
I will start with the positive tho - easy to communicate with the property managers, pretty good location Kona wise, had loads of things we could use for beach days which was awesome.
Now the not so good.
This property has bug issues - it needs a proper extermination. This is our 3rd time in a similar property and those didn’t have nearly the bugs (always having doors open with the screen usually means a few bugs here and there).
It is also very very noisy - every night at 1130pm the loud sprinklers for the golf course kicked on right outside the bedroom. We could also hear everything from the floor above us and they constantly slammed their doors. At 5am every day the birds that live on top of the patio sqwaked for at least an hour. At 6am every day but the weekend the incredibly loud mowers cruised the golf course.
It wouldn’t have been so bad if we could have blocked out some of the sounds by closing the doors (and getting very hot fast) but there is zero soundproofing so it didn’t help.
Lastly - this place needs updating. The blinds are in horrible shape and every single time we opened or closed a door pieces of the blinds fell. We didn’t have an issue with it being an older property but it just isn’t maintained well. You can’t even close the door to the toilet in the ‘master’ bathroom. The wood is so old and warped it doesn’t close. The table and chairs outside are covered in bird poop so we couldn’t even enjoy the morning coolness drinking out coffee outside (this has been one of my favorite things during our last 2 visits to the big island).
We came home after our holiday completely sleep deprived. We never got more than 5 hours of sleep.

I like the condo. A little tired but wasn’t an issue for me. Well equipped Great views of golf course and ocean. If only Kona had more beaches!

The unit was on a beautiful site. There were thoughtul beach items included for both adults and children. I would not have carpeted a rental and I would have installed hand held showers for ease of cleaning both the shower and person. Needed AC in the bedrooms for just the night.

This condo was truly well kept. It’s location on a hill ensured ocean view from the lanai despite unit being on the first floor. Amenities were excellent and we have no complaints! I was able to work remotely for 4 days (out of 10 days) but you have to do meetings indoors instead of lanai because of over abundance of chirping birds. Great place, highly recommend and would come back again!
