Our family (2 adults and kids aged 6 and 8) truly enjoyed our stay at the condo. We really liked the location - from the lanai it is nice to be able to see the ocean, as well as one of the pools. It was a short walk to the beach. It was nice to have two pools in the complex, and we never found that the pools were that busy. Only downside was that the pool rules are not the most kid friendly - "no loud noise, no ball throwing, quiet hours from 6-9pm". We didn't have any issues, but did see one family getting complained to and so we did go out of our way to keep our kids quieter/less splashing than we normally would at a pool. The condo was clean and well stocked with most of what we needed, and it was really nice to have beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards that we could use. The ice machine in the fridge was great! Check-in and out was very easy, and communication with the host was smooth and friendly. Lots of privacy, peace and quiet, and the entire complex is very well cared for and maintained. Our kids loved seeing the birds and chickens, as well as the geckos on our walks down to the beach. We hope to return to Maui in the future and would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Maui and loved the condo. We met 11 others in Maui, we each stayed in different units. I feel ours was the best which included beach gear and well stocked with toiletries and kitchen stuff.
Monika was very good at communicating with us before the stay! We would definitely recommend this condo ❤️

Our family stayed in Monika’s until for 11 nights with our two young daughters and it was perfect for our stay in Maui. The condo was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed; beach towels and folding chairs, buckets and shovels for the kids, a body board, pool noodles and even snorkel gear. The location was a short walk to a beach and very central for driving and exploring many of the other beaches in Wailea and beyond. Highly recommend this unit, it’s the perfect size for a family of 4!

Great location within Kihei and within the Maui Kamaole Complex. Quick walk down to the beach and great pool access from the unit itself.
The place was clean with sufficient kitchen amenities to make meals at home and plenty of outdoor activity amenities (snorkle gear, cooler, chairs, boogie boards, etc) to enjoy.
Outdoor patio furniture could use an upgrade. Existing plastic chairs are uncomfortable and table was wobbly.
Basic amenities (Toilet paper, paper-towels, dish-pods) were provided but in very small quantities. Would personally rather pay extra upfront than have to shop for additional rolls of toilet paper.
No dish soap or laundry detergent were provided. Dish sponges provided had been used previously. While on vacation, having basic cleaning, laundry and dish washing supplies readily available is a small incremental cost but significantly enhances rental experience.

We loved this condo. You can’t beat the location - easy walking access to beaches, restaurants, shopping. Pools are nice - some adult only hours would be great. This unit was super quiet and comfortable. The complex is beautiful and well-maintained.

We had a great stay here with our 3 kids, we enjoyed being close to the beach, Wailea, and Kihei. There is everything you need, from beach toys to deck chairs, bogies boards, and towels. Would stay here again!

This property had everything we needed for our 10 month old including a pack n play, high chair and all cooking essentials for making her meals. It was comfortable for two couples and all the essentials were provided for the beach too. Would definitely stay again.

A great condo with easy access to all the essentials (beach a 5 min walk downhill, food trucks / foodland maybe a 10 min drive). We enjoyed our stay very much. I definitely would never stay in this unit again unless there were some serious updates to the place. First I don't understand why a beachfront condo has carpet everywhere! The carpet was stained badly and the first floor bedroom smelled like mildew which made me uneasy because that is where my 3yr old was sleeping. There was also mildew in the washing machine and the dishwasher stunk so bad I don't think it had ever had cleaner ran through it. The first night we were there the fridge wasn't holding the cold temperature and when we reached out to the property manager she must have known it had issues because she said it had to be on recommended to keep the temperature which did fix the issue however we still lost food and had to replace it and the owner didn't reimburse us at all. She also provided a sponge but no dish soap to wash the dishes with we had to buy our own.
We also had an issue with the microwave half way through the week and had to unplug it to reset it just to get it to work. The garbage disposal didn't work at all and there were small bugs all over the counter and wall in the kitchen constantly and we couldn't get them to go away. (We had friends staying in the C building and they didn't see the little bugs at all in the condo). My husband had to replace two light bulbs in the lamps when we got there and they were so corroded that when he took them out they broke in his hands. Also the coffee table was almost broken when we got there if we tried to move it at all the legs would go sideways. This unit needs some serious updates!! New appliances and hardwood or laminate floors would make this a good unit to stay in. The one great thing was the view from the front lanai that was really nice.

Pulling into the complex was a great experience, landscaping was well maintained and beautiful! The condo was great - everything you need for the time in Maui. Nicole was great in responding to my emails right away, she even stopped by on our first day to drop off a few things and welcome us to the island. The location to downtown was great as well as access to all the beaches was well within 20 min drive. Airport is 25 mins away as well!

We enjoyed our stay to Kihei in this condo. Here are our pros and cons.
Pros - Fairly updated kitchen and bathrooms
View of the ocean
Walkable to the beach
Short drive anywhere else
Very communicative host and on-island contact
Cons - Clean, but in need of some repairs (ie - unstable coffee table and dining chairs, broken beach umbrella (there was an extra), beach chairs were okay but had some wear and tear on the pockets/straps)
Furniture wasn't super comfortable (living room, loft bed)
Ants in kitchen (although I understand that's common in Maui and they offered to bring traps over)
High chair for baby was small and not clean (so we didn't end up using it)
Window A/C units are old and work best in the downstairs bedroom - upstairs and living room has the vaulted ceiling and such so not great (to be fair, we were there during one of the hottest weeks, so may not be an issue for most guests)
Overall, we got a good value here compared to other condos and hotels but don't expect anything super high end.

We loved our stay here. It was comfortable, spacious, in a lovely complex and well kitted ouy for children. I'd definitely recommend it for famiIies or evem 2 couples. We loved the nearby Makena and Muluaka beaches.
BYO blackout curtains if you have kids who nap during the day or like to sleep past sunrise.

My husband and I, and our 3 boys, ages 5 -10, had a great stay at this property. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the two pools and I appreciated the close proximity to restaurants and Wailea. The property was cozy and well appointed. My only suggestion would be black out curtains for the bedrooms and living rooms. It got bright quite early and black out shades would help with energy efficiency, too. This is just a minor suggestion and would not deter me from booking this property again. It was also very quiet and the grounds were well kept!

We have stayed at this particular property multiple times in the past and it is a great location and has beautiful grounds. This particular owner was not pleasant to work with and failed to let us know that her property was under construction during our stay. For a week, we had work being done on the roof. Each morning, we were awoken by banging and shaking around 7 AM which continued throughout the day. When I informed the property owner each day of the continued work, she claimed to be unaware of any work going on at her property even though there was a posted sign of the planned construction the week of our stay. In this notice, it stated to take down everything on the wall and be prepared for shaking throughout the building. I even sent her photos and videos of what was going on at which point she offered a restaurant voucher for the inconvenience. Just to be clear, we had to walk under metal bars with signs stating workers above just to enter the condo and we had multiple tall ladders outside the condo with workers climbing all over them. We had shaking throughout the unit and could not use the lanais due to flying debris. When we requested to be moved to a different condo, the owner stated she could not do that. So at this point my husband, children and I are in a condo where we are unable to sleep and unable to go outside and dealing with an unempathetic owner. After going back and forth, she agreed to a very small refund after we requested a full refund due to this unsafe and extremely unpleasant experience at her condo. To put it simply, I DO NOT recommend staying here unless you want to deal with someone who is obviously not in the loop on the condition of her condo or is just trying to make money and could less about your satisfaction and safety while staying there. I rarely do bad reviews but this experience was so poor that I want to help anyone considering staying here to just choose another unit. I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt that she was unaware that this would be going on, but wouldn’t the right thing to do be to issue a full refund and apologize and let me know that she will make sure that a situation like this does not happen again in the future? Well, after multiple conversations, Monika has refused. Again, Maui Kamaole is a great property, it’s just this particular condo/owner that I do not recommend.

The property is one of our favourite spots in Maui. It is a short walk to the beach and food and a quick turn onto the main highway for exploring other parts of the island. The condo is large for 4 adults and has all the amenities you need to be able to enjoy the beach and cook at the condo. We enjoyed the pool and tennis courts and the large patio for meals. The beds were comfortable and AC worked great. Overall love the spot and the owners were great to deal with

Lovely condo with beautiful ocean views. Safe and quiet complex. Well stocked kitchen and beach accessories (chairs, umbrella, towels, kiddo toys) were perfect. My husband loved the master bed and said he slept so well he didn’t want to leave. Love this location and easy walk to shops, restaurants and morning coffee. So close to the beach you can walk right across the street and be on the beach in 2 minutes! Love the fact you can walk so many places, if you choose. Can’t say enough great things! Definitely on our “stay-again” list:

Ours was a 3 week visit. The upstairs loft bedroom is comfortable, though difficult to cool. The air conditioning wall unit is not up to the task. Not a huge problem but worth noting. Shower water pressure is acceptable. The "no shower door" design of the upstairs shower does result in the soaking of the bath mat. Not terrible. Just not ideal. Beds were comfortable. Abundant closet space and drawers for clothing. Washing machine and dryer were appreciated. Washer needs to be cleaned as it smells of mildew.

First let me say that if you pass on this condo, you’ll be making a big mistake. From the moment we drove in (11pm after 5 hr flight) I knew we were going to like it here. Even in the dark. Although grounds are well lit. Much attention was paid in decor and comfort. Kitchen well stocked as well as bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. All sorts of beach stuff available with 4!! beach chairs along with a number of coolers. Perfect for the four of us. Unit was exceptionally clean. Can’t wait to return to Maui Kamaole specifically unit205

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at this Vrbo in Maui. The location was very good since it’s in the center of the island and close to the airport. We liked the beach gear that we had to access here and that the tv was all set up with Netflix and Amazon prime. Our favorite part was that we could see the sunset each night from the outdoor patio lanai as well as the view of the ocean. The living room furniture could’ve been a bit more comfortable and the downstairs bed as well. But we are still happy we stayed here and would come again.

We have stayed at 10 different condos at Maui Kamaole. It is across from Kamaole 3 Beach, however, it is quite the hike up hill back to your condo. This condo has a wonderful ocean view from the lanai. It also has a roll down awning to take the heat off in the afternoon. The complex is well cared for; there were landscapers working every day. Two nice pool areas and two tennis courts. It was odd that they closed the hot tubs at 6pm. The condo is up a long flight of stairs so be aware for elderly visitors. Inside the condo it needs a paint refresh. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of pans and utensils. The furniture was very uncomfortable; the couch and chairs were like sitting on benches. The beds were ok; the king upstairs had a thick foam topper so it was quite soft. The carpet has stains; it would be nicer if it was replaced with tile. The condo comes with washer and dryer so you can pack less. It also came with a small beach cooler, sand chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and beach toys.
We had a fire alarm battery go bad and Monika was there in 30 mins to replace the battery. We gave Monika a list of things that could improve the condo. It some of the items mentioned were updated we would consider renting again.

My fiancée and I stayed at this condo while being on Maui for our wedding. It was very nice and centrally located. The contact person, Mindy, was very helpful and quickly responded to questions. The bottle of Prosecco and box of chocolates was very thoughtful. The beaches close by are very good and the pools are nice.
My only suggestion would be to update the living room seating cushions on the furniture. I would recommend renting this unit or another in the Maui Kamaole complex.

We had a great time in Kihei and a great portion of that can be attributed to this condo. Very nice decor and very comfortable beds. The availability of beach things came in very handy especially the beach chairs. In addition, the view from the balcony was fantastic while drinking our coffee and planning our day in the morning hours. The only that could be improved would be the comfort of the chairs in the living area. I have never reviewed a previous stay prior to this, but felt this condo warranted a review.

Great property! Fully stocked with all the items you could need for your maui vacation. They were very accommodating on check out day as our flight wasn't until 10pm and responded to my emails very quick! Would highly recommend staying here!
