We were hoping for a memorable stay for our trip back to Kauai, and this place was exactly what we were looking for! Sweeping views of the ocean from each room, with well-stocked amenities including extras like beach gear, in a quiet safe walkable area. Chantal was a pleasure to communicate with - kind, understanding and quick to respond. She went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. It really felt like staying at a friend's place. I can't really add much to what has already been written - this is the ideal place to truly enjoy your stay in Kauai. One minor issue is that minimal soundproofing can mean that noise from people in the above unit can be intrusive.

It was absolutely amazing. There are two bedrooms that both overlook the ocean. So magnificent to wake up to seeing the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean! Two spacious bathrooms. The master bath has a big shower and relaxing soaking tub. Close to restaurants, shops, and beaches. Loved it.

Wonderful view of the sunrise. Well equipped, including beach stuff. It's at the end of the road, so there are lots of turns through the subdivision to get there. Once you get back to the main road, it is close to shopping and restaurants. Perfect size for our group of two couples.

We had an incredible stay in Kauai and spent a lot of time in this beautiful condo. It was very comfortable for our family of three. We all slept so soundly - with the waves crashing below and the comfy beds! We ended up cooking quite a bit in the condo because there aren't a ton of food options close. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. We appreciated the beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels and cooler for those days we went to the beach. While it did get warm (and there is no air conditioning in the unit), there were plenty of fans to cool off and you don't get the afternoon/evening sun on the lanai side of the condo, so it was perfect every evening to sit out there with a glass of wine. There were a few minor things we pointed out to the owner when we returned home, but overall, we had a great experience with the condo and wouldn't hesitate to return. As it was our first time to Kauai, we weren't really aware, but note to first-timers - make reservations for dinner and excursions EARLY. Some things we wanted to do were booked up 4-6 weeks before we arrived. Another tip, download the Shaka Kauai app. Great driving tour app! Mahalo, Chantal for your hospitality. We loved this property. The views are incredible and we very much loved the hike down to the turtle cove. The kitchen had everything you could possibly want and the host was incredibly fast to respond when we had questions. The location was convenient to Hanalei and many hikes. We'd definitely return!

Kauai is absolutely one of the most beautiful places in the world. This condo allows you to experience amazing sunrise and a quiet and safe place to unwind. We stayed here 10 years ago and enjoyed it just as much this time. The only issue we had during our stay was the TV didn’t work most of the time in the main living room but truly never was a big deal. We weren’t there to watch TV. The owner Chantal was always responsive and we highly recommend the property.

This place was beautiful and comfortable. We had an amazing view and could hear the ocean all night and loved it so much. I am 79 years old and did not have problems with the few stairs.

The unit sits on a bluff overlooking the ocean and it sounds as though the ocean is at your doorstep. What a soothing way to fall asleep or take a late afternoon nap. Both bedrooms had ocean views and their own bathrooms. My cousin is male and I am female so this was perfect for us. It would be the same for two couples. The location was accessible to all beaches, Hanalei town, and grocery shopping in Princeville. I loved walking on the path following the Golf Course every morning. The unit's kitchen was well-equipped, all you needed for the beach, and a library of Birds and Fauna resource books. Also a library of books for your reading pleasure left by other guests.
It was difficult using the lock box; but, don't panic. Once you "get it", it opens! The owner is very receptive. We had no reason to call Chantal during our stay but I shared a few things with her upon our departure. She was aware of them and already had the repairs in motion. I highly recommend staying here. BTW, we saw a whale blow from the lanai!

Very nice condo, clean and well maintained. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony. Water views from every room. The amenities of Princeville and access to North Shore of Kauai made the location ideal. Beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel gear all provided made the beach trips easier and better. We hope to return next year.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful condo. It is so clean and comfortable. Our group consisted of two sets of couples, we all appreciated having King size beds in each of the rooms, as well as 2 large bathrooms. We were lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean every evening. The views from the bedrooms and Lanai were so wonderful. We often saw whales in the ocean and the morning sunrises were breathtaking. The kitchen is well equiped with dinnerware, utensils, coffee pots, rice cooker, pots, pans, blendercutting knives and so much more. Beach chairs, boogie boards and other water toys are availble to use. One of the beach chairs broke whike we were using it. We sent a message to the owner, Chantel so that she was aware. She was very quick to respond. She bought a new chair and brought it to us the very next morning. We had mentioned that some of the cutting knives were dull. She sharpened them immediately and they now cut meat like butter. There is no air conditioning, but do not let that stop you from staying in this condo. The ocean breezes combined with mulitple ceiling fans as well as additional smaller fans in each bedroom kept the air moving and very comfortable. Thank you Chantel for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We hope to back again.

We can’t say enough good things about this property! We had an amazing stay! The property was very clean, inviting, had fantastic views, and all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay to the fullest! Never mind not having AC, the fans and ocean breeze kept the unit very comfortable!
Chantal was great with communication and made us feel very relaxed during our stay, which was our home away from home for Christmas. The sound of the waves lulling you to sleep and morning coffee watching the whales was priceless! All the information provided by Chantal was super helpful and allowed us to make the most of our stay with her recommendations. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Amazing views from every room, I couldn't take my eyes off the waves! It was awesome watching the frigate birds and nenes fly right past the deck. One of the best units that you can get in the Ali'i Kai Resort since it is right on the ocean. It's on the second floor so you do hear the people above you but since we were out and about most of the time it didn't bother us. The sound of the ocean put us to sleep every night and it was beautiful.

This was the most incredible place we’ve ever stayed on Kauai (have visited about a dozen times). The views (from the living room, kitchen and both bedrooms) did not disappoint. Everything in the description was accurate.
We fully enjoyed our weeklong stay in Chantal’s condo. Felt homey and comfortable. Plenty of room and stocked with everything you need for a great beach vacation.
It is true that most homes and condos on Kauai do not have a/c, but it’s actually ok. Chantal had really good fans where they were needed and the windows have jalloussies. We’d just close the window shades before leaving for the day and the place would be cool when we returned.
Also, my husband and I play tennis, and staying at Ali’i Kai includes a pass to play at the Makai Club (only 3/4-mile away).
We’d happily return to Chantal’s place.

Wow, the views from every room in this condo seriously took our breath away when we walked in and woke up each morning. Perched above the ocean cliffs, all you see is a vast expanse of blue ocean - so incredibly relaxing :)

Definitely not a walkable location as far as morning coffee, restaurants, etc are concerned, but it didn't bother us too much as I think that's typical for Princeville.

Wow we loved the pictures on the website, they cannot compare with the actual view from and both bedrooms. tge kitchen was fully stocked with an array of dishes and pans and other utensils. The Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom had a view of the ocean. Chantal was super easy to communicate with and addressed any needs that we had immediately. The best is walking to the end of the cliff and watching the sunset and having the sunrise as we watched from our bedroom window. We don’t want to stay anywhere else!

You can't beat the view from this condo! Overall everything was good. It was a very well equipped kitchen, and towels galore for the baths. The guest bedroom was very small so we were glad our friends couldn't come at the last minute but the master was more than roomy enough. The master bath was a ittle tired and I could never get much pressure or any hot water there but luckily the guest bathroom was better. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it is very centrally located in Princeville.

We loved the view at this property. We could see the ocean from the living room and balcony, plus each bedroom. It was great having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so we didn’t have to share. Our host provided laundry detergent and beach supplies, which was very helpful. The kitchen was fully appointed with everything we needed for our stay.
There had been a storm the day before we arrived which caused a problem with the water supply. Our host kept us informed and offered us a refund if we wanted to go somewhere else, which I appreciated. We decided to stay and picked up bottled water. Thankfully the reservoir water tanks for this area lasted until they were able to fix the problem early the next morning.
I didn’t realize that so many homes on the island didn’t have air conditioning. The breezes were sufficient in cooling the rental, plus the owner provided several fans, but future renters might want to keep that in mind. I didn’t even think to look for AC in the amenities listing.
Finally, the location on the north side of the island is something to keep in mind. I picked this rental for the view, not realizing that a lot of the sightseeing we would want to do would be on the south side. We were able to see a lot of the island, though, and there are plenty of beaches on the north side.

We absolutely enjoyed staying at Chantelle's property! A big place with ocean views, clean and complete amenities were 3 of our requirements. Chantelle's place offered all 3 - and much more! The ocean views and sounds were spectacular from both bedrooms, the bathrooms were exceptionally nice (3 shower heads!), all amenities you can dream of in the kitchen, laundry and cleaning supplies. It was 10 minutes from the grocery store and shops. We ate 50% of the time in the condo so it was important that the kitchen was well stocked - and it was! This is one of the best rental we have ever stayed in. One more thing, Chantelle's guide/instructions were so helpful during our stay. We used it several times as we navigated our way around Kauai, 10/10 ... highly recommended!

We loved the upscale Princeville location, the secluded and unobstructed ocean view of the second floor condo, and the quiet and peaceful surroundings. The two-bedroom condo offered more space than we needed for two people, was well appointed with all the creature comforts and the kitchen had everything one would need to cook a complete meal (appliances, pots and pans, utensils). It was very clean and the bed for super comfortable. There is no air conditioning, but we didn’t miss it. With the windows kept open, there was ample cross ventilation. And the added bonus is being able to hear birdsong and the gurgling of the ocean! As this was our first time in Kauai, we had a packed itinerary. Would love to return for a more laid back vacation at this place.

The VIEW is outstanding. Listening to the ocean every morning, every evening was so good. Very comfortable beds and linens. The entire unit including the kitchen was well equipped.
One suggestion - higher chairs/table on deck so people can see over the railing would be nice. We spent a lot of time out on the deck just listening and watching for whales.

The lead picture is completely accurate. This very nice condo is located right above the ocean. Whales, Albatross, Nene Geese, Tropic Birds all right out front from the balcony. Quiet. Except for the sound of the surf. Convenient. We prefer to eat in, and the fully equipped kitchen made that easy. The ice maker easily kept up with the daily cooler needs. Very nice beach gear---chairs, towels, snorkel, boogie boards. Roomy. 2 BRs with king beds, very comfortable, 2 very nice baths, w.d. It would be comfortable to live here. Generous spaces, and all around very comfortable. And that magnificent ocean right out front, with no one between you and it. A nice grocery and shopping center

My teens and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful condo. We felt like we had everything we needed to live life here for a week. The information provided by the host regarding the area, beaches, restaurants, where to go, etc. was extremely helpful. We especially loved the quality and smell of the shampoo, conditioner, and soap ... simple pleasures of being taken care of :) I was torn so much of the time ... to just stay at the condo and enjoy the simple and natural beauty, or travel to go to somewhere else on the island. A fabulous choice to make each day!
Chantal was extremely responsive to our requests and concerns. A new and complete set of pans were there, so the host resolved the problem she said she would take care of from a review that was left a week before we checked in. Additionally, Chantal went out of her way to make our stay work better for us!

The main attraction of this Condo is its oceanfront location! The Ocean views and music of the waves from every room are just fantastic! Enjoy the sunrise colors over the waters of the Pacific while lying in your bed! The Condo itself is cozy, well decorated, and well-equipped. Chantal (the owner) is extremely responsive and replied to texts and emails within minutes! The owner instructions provided are very well-written with lots of great information - worth a read! Princeville is a beautiful town. Condo complex itself is a bit older, but still nicely maintained and landscaped! There is amply parking. Hanalei Bay is not far and there are lots of activities (golf course is at walking distance!) and other great locations nearby! I will highly recommend a 30-minute walk to the sunset point in the evening to watch the spectacular sunset! There are a few hit and misses in the apartment, which can be improved. Front door lock can be replaced.
Kitchen can use some more pots and pans. Condiments in the cabinet, such as Tea and Coffee, can be better stuffed! But overall this is a great place to relax and unwind!

The location of this condo is delightful—right on the ocean on a bluff. We had a couple problems with 2 lamps shorting out, but the owners were very responsive and replaced and repaired the lamps. The bathrooms were nice. We were disappointed with the kitchen appointments. There was only one fry pan and the microwave was very difficult to operate. We wanted to cook lots of meals because of COVID, so the lack of cook wear was challenging. If you don’t want to cook much, this condo will probably work well for you. It did have beach gear to use. We really appreciated how responsive Chantal was to our queries.

This condo is in a great location; on top of a bluff that looks out over the beautiful ocean. We heard the peaceful ocean sounds 24/7. The condo complex is quiet and has easy ample parking and is located close to the town of Hanalei. The condo itself is a little dated; i.e. needs some upgrades and a few repairs but we would certainly recommend it and would stay there again! Aloha!

The unit is even better than advertised. The views and particularly sunrises were highlights of the trip. The unit has everything we needed from beach toys to extra supplies. Washer and dryer were a huge help allowing us to pack minimal and get everything clean again before packing.
Strong WiFi connection allowed us to keep connected.

Chantel's place was amazing. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves and waking up to see the sunrise over the water. The place was very well stocked with everything that we needed - even down to laundry detergent and cooking spices. Everything was immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo! We would love to stay again the next time we are in Kauai.

This place is awesome! Great location being close to Hanalei, Princeville and Kilauea. Everything we needed but didn't bring was available in the condo! Chantal was super responsive and accomodating prior to check in. And the views from the condo are unbelievable along with falling asleep to the sound of the ocean... Just can't be beat!

This property was great for our stay in Princeville. It was just my husband and I, but there would be plenty of space for 4 people. The views from the bedrooms are incredible, we only wish we were there in the winter to see the whales! The beach chairs and snorkel gear were also a really great addition to the condo and we really enjoyed having them to use.

The balcony with the unobstructed views of the ocean is absolutely incredible. We did not want to leave the condo! There’s a gentle sea breeze that is constantly blowing through the whole place, makes everything feel clean and calming.
