Spectacular location and view! Sea turtles in the bay below! Quiet!! Some of the most beautiful sunsets we've ever seen.Accommodations were beyond what was expected. Every kitchen utensil you would need, plenty of towels, and comfortable beds. We left the doors open most of the time and only used the AC at bedtime. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Minutes from downtown Kona. If you have any questions the landlords get back to you in a timely manner. Sad to leave, but looking forward to coming again in the future.

This Condo was above and beyond expectations! Updated, very clean, nicely appointed, and well stocked! Truly Oceanfront with turtle viewing from the Lanai!
Lee and Courtney lived up to being Superhosts. They were very prompt with clear communications and very helpful and friendly.
We look forward with staying with them in future!

This condo has all the right elements for a relaxing getaway. Ocean just below your deck with views to forever, well-stocked kitchen and baths, quiet building, covered parking and comfy beds! We have been in this area many times, but this is the first time we preferred to just stay “home” and soak up the ambiance.

We were coming to the big island for the first time and in need of a relaxing get away from work. This was the most amazing condo and just what the doctor ordered! We found ourselves sitting on the amazing patio enjoying the amazing view instead of going out. Waking up to the view of the waves crashing is perfect and this is by far the best VRBO we have stayed in thus far! Plenty of tools in the kitchen for cooking your own meals and BBQ's with the best view in the world. Quite and relaxing, this is definitely where we would stay if we were booking a stay on the big island. It is also close to Kona and easy to get to everything quickly. Thank you for the most relaxing place to stay.

From start to go, the process was a breeze. Lee and Courtney are beyond wonderful landlords. The spot is amazing, the condo had everything we needed and more. We were so delighted to find chairs and a sun umbrella. We were greeted with a bag of coffee and plenty of laundry detergent for our stay.
I would not hesitate to book this property. It’s a prime location centrally located to everything you could ever want. Thank you so much Lee and Courtney!

We truly enjoyed our vacation at this condo. It’s clean, comfortable (AC in all rooms with individual temperature controls), great location (right on the water close to restaurants and beaches), so many thoughtful amenities (kitchen with condiments, utensils, toaster, rice maker, coffee maker; beach towels, beach chairs, beach mats; binoculars, flash lights). They even had hair dryer and straightener, which had I know would have saved me carrying mine (would have rather brought my own shampoo/conditioner/body wash as they provide one tiny set per bathroom only). The owners are awesome and communicate well, their suggestions guide was on point we tried all the restaurants they mentioned and they’re great. The view from the patio is beautiful and we enjoyed sunsets and a couple dinners there as the view was better than at restaurants. We would love to be back!

Although the complex in which the unit is located is old and somewhat worn down, the unit itself has been significantly updated and has a nice kitchen and excellent furniture, including two very nice beds. The surface cleaning of the unit was great, but it is in need of a deep clean. A reserved covered parking spot is made available, which is nice and convenient especially when it is raining. Luxurious quantities of towels are supplied in the unit, along with ample supplies of paper towels, toilet paper, bar soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, and dishwashing pods. The balcony looks west directly out over the ocean, with a beautiful view of the water, as well as the rocky beach area immediately below. The sunsets were delightful and several nights we even had a full moon glittering on the water just before sunrise. Nearby surfers could be watched during the day as entertainment, and an occasional sea turtle showed up to rest in the rocks just below the balcony. The rocky beach area was particularly enjoyable for sunbathing and dipping of toes and body to cool off. It was pleasant to hang out there rather than driving long distances to far-away beaches. Overall this unit was very nice. The only item of shortcoming was the capacity of the hot water heater: It was plenty hot enough, but lasted only about 5 minutes, just enough time for one shower only.

First of all the view is stunning! We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Our hosts provided everything we needed. Bath and beach towels, toiletries, delicious Kona coffee, binoculars, air conditioning and fans in every room. I am on the short side so it was thoughtful to have step stools handy. You did a wonderful job trying to think of everything someone might need. We tried every restaurant suggestion you made in the handy renters manual. Great food at all of them. We would rent this condo again without question. I do have a couple of small suggestions for the owners. I would remind tenants to empty the lint trap in the dryer. We couldn't close the lint trap because it was so full. I tried to fish out as much as possible, but I am sure it needed more lint taken out. Also, a dust broom and pan would be handy. I felt bad leaving sand on the nice floors. Thank you so much! Our stay was amazing!

Property is ideal for staying close to Kona. The amenities are as described and all functioning (not something you find in all rentals). The pictures of the view don't do it justice. It was lovely to sit on porch and watch the turtles , the fish and the surfers. Parking is easy. Provided beach chairs, towels and umbrellas made beach trips extra enjoyable.
I like the Hele-On an hourly free shuttle bus that picks up across the street if you want a cocktail in town and prefer not to drive. Be warned it runs on a rather erratic schedule and it's good to tell the driver where you want to get off.

What a view! We watched surfers daily from balcony. The condo had everything needed in the kitchen. A very nice touch was laundry soap was provided. We would recommend this unit to anyone.

This is a very nice, well stocked, cute condo with a killer view and big deck/patio area. The owners are super nice and helpful! The condo has everything. We made all our meals here and my husband baked cookies three times! I highly recommend. I’m really gonna miss sitting out watching the surfers and whales!

I rarely give 5 star reviews. On this one, I would have given 6 stars if available. The condo was exactly as advertised. Extremely clean and well maintained. The pictures of the unit and the views were exactly as shown. I was worried when we booked that they were 20 year old pictures and the views were from other common areas. Not the case. The location and quality of accommodations made our vacation more special.

We married in April 2022, we are retired, we love traveling. this was our 8th rental in the last year.
This was our BEST rental experience.
Hosts were in contact well ahead of our visit to inquire about our interests and of any previous experience on the Big Island and then responded with many suggestions.
Like many properties in this area, the building shows signs of its age and is in need of some TLC. However, the condo was an oasis, remodeled and well maintained. We spent every breakfast and evening on the lanaii and slept to the sound of the surf with the windows open. (We now have Google play "ocean sounds" every night"). We had our big meal during our daytime ventures around the island so we could dine on Costco shrimp platters and white wine at sunset. The free island transport stops in front of the complex each hour, so it is an easy visit to Kailua without dealing with traffic or parking.
The kitchen was perfect for our use of light meals and can accomodate full meals if desired. There are ceiling fans everywhere so, even in August, the AC was never needed. Furniture was stylish and comfortable and is in the process of being upgraded again.
If you don't rent this property, someone else will be enjoying themselves here!

Great place to stay! Really appreciated that the whole place had air conditioning and not just the bedrooms. The owner had both flashlights and binoculars that came in handy. The seating in the living room was not as comfortable as it looked. Detailed instructions on how to use the remotes for the lights and fans would have been helpful.

This condo is in the perfect location for exploring or just relaxing. Every morning we would see turtles eating in the tide pools. We watched surfers and a huge pod of dolphins pass by from the condo! Had everything we needed and more. This condo was the perfect paradise, the owners are very communicative and friendly. Highly recommend!!!

We arrived from snowy Canada to this gem of a condo! The location is amazing looking right down on the ocean. The place was immaculate and we are fussy about cleanliness! We loved the decor and all of the kitchen wear as with the rest of the condo furnishings is higher end and was perfect for our needs. The bed was super comfy and we loved going to sleep listening to the waves crashing. The location was central to many of our travels and we enjoyed walking to restaurants for dinner. Two thumbs way up!!!

We stayed in late June 2021-2 parents and our 18 year old son. This condo is extremely clean and well appointed. The decor is up to date. The towels, sheets, provided soaps, TP, etc are all very good quality-higher quality than your average VRBO. The kitchen has everything you would need. The view from the balcony is top notch-unobstructed with essentially no other condo structures around in the way (there is a church to the north but you just see the yard). There is a nice grassy area by the water, lava rock and some sand beach. There are 2 beach chairs in the condo as well as some chairs provided near the beach by the condo. We saw interesting fish right outside the condo as well as turtles on 2 different days. Some surfers use the area to the south and are very interesting to watch.
We heard zero noise from adjacent condos.
The condo owners are very well organized and easy to communicate with. They provided us with advice about Hawaii COVID testing and local scuba dive operators.
We were 100% happy and would choose this condo again if we were to return. Kudos to the owners for how they manage this place.

We've been trying to think of an area where this condo needs improvement and couldn't think of one. Does the view from the condo reflect their photos ? Not really. It was even better. We spent most of our time relaxing on the two comfortable lanai lounge chairs ( very few condos include actual lounge chairs) watching turtles and watching the turquoise surf break. The turtles were always there. The waves were always turquoise. The lanai is super private and even has roller shades to keep afternoon sun off your face. The air conditioning was quiet, the king bed was very comfortable and everything was clean, new, and well done. We loved the tasteful blue beach theme decorating, the fully stocked kitchen and extras like the beach chairs, beach towels and beach bag. Serious thought was given to our comfort and enjoyment . We can't think of a better place to be and can't wait to return.

Talk about paradise!! This condo is in the absolute best location. It is on the fourth floor of the building which means the views, especially during sunset, are absolutely amazing. It is right on Ali'i drive which is a convenient location if you enjoy running, biking, or just walking around. It is exactly two miles to the main shops and stores and less than a half a mile away walk from a little market that sells fruit, souvenirs and has an amazing shaved ice stand called Gecko Shaved Ice. Also, practically attached to the condo building is Da Poke Shack which has delicious fresh Ahi and I definitely went more than once. The condo itself is modern, beachy & seems recently updated. All the appliances are nice and the host provides you with everything you would need for a long stay and more. We cooked a couple of meals at the condo and the kitchen is very nice. Some special touches that surprised me included: binoculars on the balcony to help spot sea turtles and watch the boats pass by, a cooler bag which was perfect for bringing produce back from our day trip to the Hilo Saturday Market & extra large beach towels. The host provided a little guest book with restaurant recommendations and we went to Jackie Rey's and it was our favorite meal while on vacation. The master bedroom is my favorite part because even while laying in bed you have an ocean view. The sliding glass doors open from the master bedroom to the condo living room allowing you to have a nice ocean breeze at all hours of the day. We ate breakfast on the balcony everyday at the table and I read my book on the balcony in the lounge chairs. The pool and hot tub are close to the room and never seemed too busy. This condo is great for either a romantic getaway or a family vacation because there is guest bedroom that we didn't use. I will definitely be returning!!
