My fiancé and I absolutely loved this place. It was a perfect place for a couple. We have been to the big Island 3 other times and this was our favorite so far. Clean. Quiet. Across the street from magic sands beach. Fully loaded kitchen with anything you need. Lanai had water view, could hear waves, yet hidden with the surrounding garden so was private. Robert was awesome…helpful and accommodating to our flight times. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Directly across from Magic sands beach you could hear the waves at night. Very nice. The beach became swimmable for us amatuers when the sand came back Mid March. I swam with the turtles, Locals always swam. Truely great location not just due to the Magic Sands beach but the great snorkeling and surfing at Kahalu'u just a mile south and the Kona Trolley runs from North Kona (Target) down to the Keauhou Shopping center - even to the airport by jumping bus lines. We mostly went without a car. Very walkable area. Just a very fun and comfortable place to be.

This place is a 1 minute walk to the beach, we loved hanging out there whenever we could. The place has everything you need for the beach (towels, boogie board, floaties, chairs, umbrella, cooler). Great view of the sunset from the lanai. The kitchen is great for cooking, we will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic White Sands Beach Location!
We really enjoyed our stay here in Kona, our first time to the big island! With easy access to the beach, this condo has a great kitchen, and almost everything we needed, except beach towels.
For Owner's Eyes: There are also a few deferred maintenance items that should be addressed, as well.
1- patio door handle needs tightening
2- bathroom sink draining very slowly
3- fan/light controllers may need new batteries (work intermittently)
4- beach umbrella spine hinge found broken
5- snorkel to mask strap holder found missing on the large mask
All of the above did not deminish THE GREAT TIME WE Had!!!

Excellent location, across from the Beach. Lots of traffic of course, very popular area! Condo was nice, never used the kitchen at all! Hard to cook at the condo when on vacation. Liked having private parking.

The condo was exactly what I needed to live pretty simply in Kona for a couple weeks. The kitchen had all of the appliances I needed to cook a lot for myself and the airflow from the ocean kept the place nice and cool all day. There was an awesome beach and restaurant right across the street for when I wanted to get out too. The ocean was like a real life sound machine the nights I slept with the doors open which was pretty cool. Robert was extremely responsive and even checked in via text part way through the stay.

The property was not as clean as I would have liked, the floor had clearly not been mopped and there were a lot of dead bugs on the floor. There is also no AC in the unit so it is very warm. However, the owner is very responsive and the location is great, we really just used the place to sleep so 4/5 stars for sure.

Excellent property right next to the beach. The beach is right across the road. Safeway/farmers market/Kailua downtown are all within a 10-minute drive. Property is well-equipped, with a toaster oven, coffeemaker, all sorts of cooking utensils and lots of beach gear. There's a hose outside so you can rinse your feet off the sand before going in.
It does get hot in the middle of the day, as there's no AC, but you have multiple fans at your disposal to help cool down. We were mostly on sightseeing trips during the day so it wasn't a big deal. In the evening you can open the windows and let the breeze cool everything down.
Also note that the beach location has some negatives to it as well. Close to sunset you'll have people that park across the road and blast loud music from their cars. It's not too annoying when doors are closed, and they leave soon after it gets dark. Birds also get very loud at nearby trees in the morning (4-5am) so if you're a light sleeper you should bring some earplugs.
Additionally, Robert sent us a wonderful guide book about Big Island. Called "Hawaii Big Island Revealed" it showed us some points of interest which we added to our day trips, which allowed us to see some hidden gems of the island. Overall we were very happy with the stay on the Big Island.

We have stayed in this condo complex before and the visit is always wonderful. The location, across from the park/beach can't get any better! Having a parking spot, laundry facilities, lanai, and beach accessories makes for a great time. The updated inside is great! especially the kitchen!! The floors might need an upgrade but overall are fine. The activities at the beach are loud sometimes but pretty much over by 10-11PM. We hope to stay here again!

Wonderful condo/apt for two. Exceptionally clean, neat and ready with everything we needed and more. The furnishings and decor was outstanding. Walk across the street to Magic Sands Beach and short drive to Kailua/Kona downtown and nearby Keauhou Plaza for food, fun, and shops. Easy access to Ali'i Drive to motor any direction for daily adventure on the wonderful Big Island. We have traveled to the Big Island almost every two years and sometimes more than once a year and this is the best condo ever. Robert C, the owner is so gracious sharing this with others. The kitchen appliances are outstanding. In fact, I would like them in my home. And, he sent us our favorite book "Big Island Revealed" which is our go to every time we visit the Island.

Had a small issue getting checked in but it was resolved. The condo is small but remodeled very nicely & met our needs.. Shared washing machines on property are not the greatest but are functional.
Location is very convenient to most everything. No AC wasn't optimal asit can be a bit noisy.
Overall we were very happy with our stay and Robert, the owner.

Quite a smooth stay. Robert was always quick to respond to any questions I had. Apartment was small but very functional. Warm with no AC but lots of fans to keep air moving and feel cool.
Location was excellent. Ali’i Drive is busy but if we didn’t feel like going and exploring other beaches we just had to walk across the street which we did a few days.

After traveling over much of the "Big Island," I don't think you could find a better location than this. It's centrally located on the Kona Coast and everything we needed was only a short drive away.
