This condo was perfect for 2 people & 3 nights was the perfect amount of time to stay. The only downsides we experienced, mostly personal problems for me not my hubby, was I barely fit my 3 nights of stuff into the empty drawers we found in the bedroom. We did feel like if we were staying for longer that we would have had to live out of our suitcases. However, I do believe if you pack lightly there is plenty of room for personal items. Lastly, I was pregnant for this trip and felt like the water pressure in the shower was a bit uncomfortable for my liking. Not the end of the world and would definitely not prevent me from staying here in the future. Overall, this condo & the owners were lovely! We felt for the location and price it is really an unbeatable place to stay. Thanks again Robb & Linda for being great hosts! We appreciate you allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo <3

Lack of personal space. Lanai was cluttered with eclectic collection of pants and ornamentals. Closet and sheets had musky odor. In general it was busy with owners personal belongings.

Great location but lack of on site parking at this Condominium is a deal breaker for us returning.
We were not comfortable having to park our rental car, that we’re responsible for, on a public street.

My first time in VRBO . I found it difficult to find the information that the owner was uploading. We rented in ARB&B and it was much easier to navigate the app.

we really wanted to love this place with the awesome ocean views and barbecue but the decor was so personalized and full of clutter there was no where to set your suitcase to open it and get comfortable. once you remove all the pillows and comforters from the bed and set them down, you are sleeping in red flannel sheets which was strange. owners were great trying to fix cable box issues but we ultimately left three days early as it was just too hard to feel like a home away from home for the five days minimum. If they add comfortable rugs, remove excess furniture/chairs and tons and tons of clutter it could be a lot better for someone looking to unwind and feel at home with that amazing ocean sound/view/breeze

We were surprised that Vrbo is allowing this property to be rented out. The owner lives there full-time, the unit is cluttered and overpacked with her personal items and food, and the bedroom is locked for her personal use (While the unit is advertised as one bedroom, you are given a bed in the main room like a studio apartment).
There was a lack of transparency on Vrbo site. Only after we arrived, owner revealed that
1) The unit piles dust from the sugar plantation nearby.
2) Tile floors are hard to keep clean so wear slippers.
3) The owner lives there full-time. The owner uses the assigned parking spot, so the guest must park on the street.
4) There is personal food stored in the refrigerator and freezer, and personal items in the closets and desk and other drawers.
5) The slider shade is broken so not to move it.
There were other issues:
- The dust in the unit was so severe that two of us had respiratory and allergic reactions.
- The apartment was cluttered and overpacked with the owner’s personal things, with hardly any room for us to unpack.
- They get their personal mail at the unit even during the guest stay. Owner had one of their friends enter the premises to retrieve their mail while we were there. Since our code was shared with the friend, we felt unsecured during the rest of the stay.
- The unit needed some upkeep for it to be Vrbo rental property. The Slider screen was broken.
- We had to chase them down and call multiple people to get check-in information.

This condo is well lived in the nice art, several plants, and many personal collectibles. Listening to the ocean waves at night is soothing. Location is great for excursions all over the island. There are opportunities for improvement in cleaning, and maintaining/replacing the moist/musty wooden towel bars and all cabinet wood handles. This is the most amount of personal belongings we’ve ever had in a rental. It felt like we couldn’t spread out and unpack. We stayed 5 nights.

On top of all that, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in!

We enjoyed staying in Robb and Linda’s unit. The views are unbeatable. Lots of extras in the unit which made cooking easier. The art work is very enjoyable to have around. Made it very honey. As people have said before it could really use a deep cleaning. Having said that though I’d stay here again. Hope to come back some day.

This was the perfect stay for our vacation! The location was right in the middle of every part of Maui, so it is extremely convenient for any part of Maui you want to explore! The owners and property manager are very responsive as well which helped per immensely with any questions we may have had.

Really loved this place. Beautiful view of both the water and island and in a good location just outside of Kihei. The decor made the place feel lively and homey making it wonderful and relaxing to stay in whenever you were indoors. It was clean and comfortable. As advertised, there is no air conditioning however we were never uncomfortable. There was always a strong cool breeze with plenty of windows and a large sliding door. Highly recommend and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The scenery is as nice as advertised. The unit had everything we needed and we were quite pleased with the place. The lack of A/C was manageable with fans, but was certainly noticeable. Also, the property owner was very nice, but didn't provide us with check-in details until the day of our stay. We enjoyed the proximity to Coast Guard Beach and the Harbour.

Best part of this unit was the breathtaking view and watching the sunrise every single morning, that alone is worth the stay! The unit could have bene a little cleaner, but most frustrating was the "checkin/info booklet" was not available to us when we arrived. We reached out to property manager (not the best communication) and then finally reached out to the owner a couple days later and we found out the book was stored in a nondescript cabinet, completely out of view which was disappointing. We did not have wifi or tv for a couple days (we visited over christmas and tried to be respectful and not try to call on christmas day). As an avid traveller, the instructions booklet with checkin/check out details is the most basic thing to make sure is available to guest, or email before the stay.
Would recommend a visit during the cooler months since there is no AC. The breeze was amazing and sleeping to the sounds of the beach was perfect!

We are so happy we choose this VRBO for our 40th anniversary. I wanted both a view of the ocean and to hear the ocean waves at night. This place was perfect. We also enjoyed walking the beach each morning. So relaxed and not many other people around. The VRBO is full of wonderful artwork by the owners. Very colorful and cheerful. We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was amazing, we spent little time in it during the day due to being on the beach or excursions, but while we were at the condo we enjoyed every minute of sitting on the balcony. The sunrises are beautiful and so are the evenings when the torches are lit. The condo is stocked with everything you could think of, they thought of it all. I would recommend people to stay at this condo and would stay here again!

This little piece of heaven is perfect if you are looking for a central location near the airport, and like to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean! Because it is central, it is about a half hour drive out to the major hot spots, like Lahaina, Makena, Wailea. Wailuku is a smaller, quieter, harbor town, and the major draws are that you can hear the ocean while you sleep every night, you can watch the sun rise over Haleakala each morning, and it is about fifteen minutes from the airport and about a half hour to an hour from most major attractions. Loved the location for a low key relaxing trip with my elderly mom.

My husband and I came to Maui to celebrate our 5th Anniversary. Robb and Linda's condo was perfect! The views were spectacular, the ocean was perfectly relaxing, and the condo had everything we need - with anything else in close driving distance. We spent hours sitting outside watching the sea turtles and surfers and enjoyed going to sleep every night to the sound of the ocean waves. The setup of the condo suited our needs and we found ample room for clothing, food and electrical outlets. The ceiling fans kept us just the right amount of cool. We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Linda’s Maalaea condo. The unit is very clean and has a lot of charm to it. The sound of the waves is very soothing and nice to sleep to. Spent a lot of time on the lanai watching the sunrise over Haleakala and turtles in the ocean below. It is in a great location with Kihei, Lahinia and Kahului within close driving range. We would definitely recommend this condo to others and plan to stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful time in Maui staying at your cozy condo! We enjoyed the artwork. The location is fantastic, right on the water. There was an issue with the main shower not being available. The communication between the on-site person and owners was very good. They kept us updated and it was really appreciated. We recommend this property!

We had been to Maui about 15 years ago and did all the “tourist” things so this trip we just wanted to relax. And relax we did. This is a fantastic condo, peaceful and great ocean views. Close to everything yet quiet. Would highly recommend!

The view was stunning, we saw turtles every day! Beach towels and chairs provided, which was very handy. The central location was very convenient. Maui was in the middle of a heat wave of 95 degree plus temperatures- so the lack of air conditioning was very noticeable - we had the front door and slider open most of the time, so it was bearable but very windy. The kitchen really needs updating. But other than that we really liked the size and loved sitting on the patio watching the ocean every morning and evening.
