My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and Maria’s condo was a perfect place to stay! It had everything we needed including beach chairs and an umbrella. The king sized bed was so comfortable and we loved sitting on the comfy lanai chairs in the morning and evening. Maria’s communication with us was excellent before and during our stay and we’re looking forward to staying here on our next visit!

My husband & I spent 8 days at Maria's condo and would definitely stay there again! It was SO comfortable - we had everything we needed except fresh food! Maria's communications were exceptional! You need her good directions to find the condo in the DARK!! We ate nearly every meal sitting on the very comfy lanai! Loved the nice shower!! Thank you Maria!!

After a bumpy start to our vacation, we were in paradise. This is our second time staying with Maria. Her place has all the comforts of home and then some. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen, relaxing chairs. We would wake up to the singing birds with some fresh coffee and fruit. We look forward to returning soon. Thanks again.

Great rental location for peace and quit. The Lani in the AM watching the sun come up is priceless. Well outfitted with just about everything you need. Just bring some clothes and food and you are set. Would definitely stay again. Truly appreciate the support for veterans!

Maria's place is as advertised and very nice. The checkin was easy and communication prior to and during the stay was very good. This is the second time we have chosen Maria's property and wouldn't hesitate to rent again.

Very clean, orderly, well-equipped. Awesome deck recliners, lots of beach equipment. Seemed to have been renovated with nice marble counters and new appliances. Comfy king, good air conditioning. Hostess was super-responsive and provides above average additions in the home. Highly recommend.

My friend and I planned a last minute trip to Waikoloa Beach Resort for an upcoming renovation and found that Maria's unit was in the same complex. She was absolutely wonderful to deal with from start to finish. In the morning and at the end of a busy day it was fabulous to be able to sit outside on the lanai in her incredibly comfortable chairs and watch the sun rise and set. Everything we could possibly need for our week's stay was at our fingertips. The shower with its multiple heads and jets - we both agreed was the best we have ever used! Both the master bed and the murphy bed are extremely comfortable. Our only regret was having to come home!

The experience was great. There were many small amenities that made it special. There are a few really good snorkeling places nearby. The lanai was really nice as well as the interior furnishings. Overall the unit and surrounding area were very enjoyable

This is a nice and large condo. We liked the lanai the most. We didn’t spend much time inside because there is so much to do on the island but it was great sleeping in that large bed after day full of activities. Nice big shower is also a plus!

Stayed here for ~7 weeks. Very comfortable beds, nicely remodelled bathrooms. Nice large lanai with comfortable reclining chairs. Well equipped kitchen. Just minutes to shops or the ocean. Only real negative was the internet speed which hopefully will be improved.

We had a wonderful week in Kona at Maria’s condo. Everything was exactly as described. The condo is like home; has all amenities, clean and convenient to the hotel, beaches. The bathroom/shower is really nice. There are beach chairs, snorkeling gear, umbrellas and wake boards. Although this is the oldest condo complex in Waikoloa, there is tremendous pride among the owners. Parking is ample. Communication with Maria was terrific. I left an important item and Maria had the cleaners locate and ship it back to me!

Maria's Touch is a wonderful condo. The condo itself is nicely updated and wonderfully apportioned with everything that we needed. The grounds at the Shores are great. We used the pool, hot tub, exercise room and the outdoor grills. Location is wonderful. All in all n great experience. Thank you Maria

We loved staying at Maria's beautiful condo in Waikoloa. The condo was spacious, immaculate, beautifully decorated, and simply very comfortable. Two previous times we visited the Big Island, we stayed at Hilton at Waikoloa Village. However, we recently discovered VRBO and chose Maria's Touch to stay. We were very happy with our decision. The condo is located two blocks from the Hilton Waikoloa and Marriotts' Waikoloa, 0.5 miles from the King's Shops and Queen's Markets, and within easy driving distance from the Hapuna Beach, Waimea and Kailua-Kona. We toured all over the island and experienced several climates but it was always great to return to the sunny Waikoloa and a comfy condo to relax and recharge for the next day. Maria was a great host and extended our departure to a later time when I informed her of our later than expected flight. The condo has 1.5 bathrooms and a great shower. We loved sitting on the balcony drinking coffee in the mornings and the quietness of the neighborhood. We We highly recommend this condo and would love to stay here on our next visit.

We had an amazing stay at this condo! Maria was so helpful and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the trip. There is nothing this condo doesn’t have—everything is well stocked and includes an boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, reusable food containers, hair dryer, iron, etc. The location is great and close to all the good sandy beaches. The property is quite and relaxing. Restaurants and shops nearby and it’s a great area for morning walks. Highly recommend—we did not walk to leave! Thank you Maria!

The property location was ideal for our two week golf vacation. However, having experienced stays in two other units in that area on previous occassions we were somewhat disappointed by the amount of carpeting which over the years becomes tired. The rug on top of the carpet in the living room was a tripping hazard. The lack of a tv in the bedroom, the presence of stuff stored under the bed and on the lanai was an annoyance. We even had to go to Costco to purchase two new pillows as the bedding was substandard. The shower head requires replacing as it has detiorated over the years. The welcoming package was a nice touch. The most comfortable place to sit was on the lanai whereas the living room seating was uncomfortable. The Spectrum television box requires updating. The elevator worked from the ground floor up but when we required to use it to go down we had to use the staircase which was difficult with our luggage.

Loved the location for exploring most areas of the island, though a little far from Volcanoes Park, and not quite walking distance to the beach if you're carrying gear. But easy drive to many great beaches, to Mauna Kea and spots North and East. The condo is fully stocked, felt like home with all the things available, and all the necessary beach gear. Great place for a small family! Maria is a great host.

My teenage son and I had a lovely stay at Maria and Allen’s home on our back to school getaway to Hawaii. The location is great and Maria’s communication was quick and super helpful. They have everything you could need, including beach chairs and towels and snorkeling equipment, and the unit is quiet with easy parking. We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners on the terrace before and after days at the beach and on excursions - it was like staying at a friend’s home. Thank you for making our time in Hawaii so nice—we’d definitely stay again!

Having stayed at many short-term rentals I had prepared in my mind what I thought was excellent as far as the actual place you walk into (vs. the listing description).
I just want to attest that Maria and Allen's place created a new high standard for me to rate all other future experiences.
You will not be left without the essential items you need and some items you didn't think you needed!
There was no need to pick up many of the supply items to stock the kitchen or use for outdoor recreation. I recommend showing up and assessing before you make unneeded purchases. Like me, I know you will thank Maria and Allen for being so thoughtful to provide supplies. But, if you do bring items like we did, there's lots of cabinet and counter space to donate those things for future guests.
All amenities were great with the exception of no Internet during our stay due to a outside connection issue. Maria immediately called the Internet service provider after I reported this problem to her and called with me an update. Unfortunately, I was there for the holiday weekend so it was not likely a technician would show up. We made do without WiFi but good news is Maria confirmed the connection was fixed the day we left so future guests will be able to use it.
Also, the elevator was out of service. Maria spoke to the building maintenance staff who explained the delay in certifying the elevator for use and assured her it would be back in operation by the end of this month. The stairs are right next to the Maria's front door.
No other issues with any of the appliances, furniture, parking, pool/hot tub, etc. You will not regret staying here!
I will definitely return to this condo again. I never felt more at home while being away from home!

We enjoyed our stay at The Shores. Everything was clean and well kept. It was convenient to have the extra bathroom and spacious lanai too.
We were able to make our own breakfast and coffee in the morning before setting out which saved us a lot of time. The proximity of Maria’s place to A-Bay was great too. We were able to walk down and watch the sunset there in about 15 minutes walk from our place. It was also just a 20 minute drive from some of the most gorgeous beaches for swimming, Hapuna and Kanau’ua.
The shower was fabulous. And the bed was comfortable too. If we come back to the Big Island, we hope to stay here again. Thanks Maria!

Maria was so helpful and accessible before our trip. The unit was immaculate and equipped with everything we needed. Truly a home away from home. It’s close to the beach, shoreline hiking, and shopping.
