Tamara’s place was amazing! The community is very clean and safe. It’s walking distance to everything Turtle Bay has to offer. We walked to get coffee and sit at the beach every morning! It’s also within a close drive to everything on the North Shore. The place itself was fantastic. There are AC units in the bedroom, loft, and living room so you are always comfortable! There’s plenty of kitchenware for cooking at home, lots of beach gear, the beds are comfy, and Tamara made check in very easy. No complaints here!

This condo is in a great location. Was an easy walk with stroller down to the beach and to multiple restaurants. We loved having access to the pools for our infant as well.
The condo itself could use some updates and a deep cleaning but it was a great stay!

Stay was great. Place we got did the trick. Comfy, AC worked great and plenty of room for my family of 4. Only thing missing was an umbrella for the beach but all else was really good. Tamara was our host and she was amazing communicator really helping the trip run smoothly so Mahalos to her! See ya again soon!

We stayed for 17 nights at this property, and had a great time. It came fully stocked with hand soap, body soap, shampoo, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent, which was so helpful. I think the description said something like 'washer and dryer on site' which was a little ambiguous because we weren't sure if it was actually in the unit, or a separate unit in the complex. When we got there, we found a washer and dryer in the unit YAY!! Lots of room for the average family. All was positive except for a couple of things--the unit wasn't quite as clean as I had maybe expected. The top of the range had burned-on, caked-on food with loose crumbs on it. It looked like the cleaning people completely missed it. Second area was the bathtub. It too looked like it was completely forgotten about by the cleaning crew. The thing that made me sad and disappointed was that the owner made a claim against us and had a plumber come out and deal with a slow-running bathroom sink after we had left. It was like that when we got there, and we didn't think much of it because sometimes pipes are old, and drain slow. The condo is several decades old, and assumed it was an ongoing problem. I cleaned all towels, swept all floors, and followed all directions prior to our departure. It just didn't sit well with me about the plumbing issue. It made me think that the cleaning and maintenance people were not keeping the owner updated on issues for her unit, and we got stuck with the bill

Grandma did extra cleaning under furniture and was a little warm sleeping upstairs. Otherwise we greatly enjoyed our stay! It was a great location! We had seasonings for food and beach amenities to use which was a nice perk! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here on the North Shore!

We loved our stay here. Walking distance to the resort at Turtle Bay and beaches. Great pool, pickle ball and golf options at the property. Clean unit - furniture could be updated but ok for a beach house feel. It was great having laundry in the unit and a/c!

Lots to do in the area. So many things so little time. We went to my cousins celebration of life and needed a place that could accomodate 4 adults. The loft upstairs has two twin and a Queen plus 1/2 bath. The downstairs bedroom is very spacious it also has a Queen with a sliding door. Next to the room is a full bath. There is also an enclosed balcony with lots of things to take to the beach either to get in the h20 or just sunbathe. Check in was very easy! Tamara emails them along with info on things to do in the area once you confirm your dates. The security staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Thanks Tamara

Wonderful location for exploring the area. Lots of yummy food trucks nearby. Wonderful beaches to explore. The condo had a nice screened in patio on the golf course that perfect for coffee in the morning. There were chairs, towels and snorkels there to use.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tamara’s vacation home rental on the Turtle Bay Resort property (not the hotel) in Hawaii and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The host, Tamara, was incredibly helpful and responsive to all of our questions before and during our stay. She provided us with detailed information about the rental and the surrounding area, which made our trip much smoother. The rental was a spacious condo with plenty of room for my group of friends and me. The property was well-maintained and equipped with all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable.
One of the highlights of our stay was the location of the condo. It was situated right on the Turtle Bay Resort, which gave us access to all the amazing amenities that the resort had to offer. We enjoyed lounging on the beach, taking long walks on the property, and watching the sunrise/ sunset. It was a great way to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the island.
The rental itself was beautifully decorated and had a welcoming atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals.
One of the things that stood out to us was how quiet and peaceful the VRBO was.
The rental also had access to 3 pools, tennis courts, and charcoal bbq, and some of the amenities on the Turtle Bay Resort. Be sure to see what you have access to and what you don’t, such as the hotel pools.
Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation home rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay in Hawaii. The location, amenities, and overall atmosphere made for an unforgettable vacation experience. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future!

Condo was a great location on the north shore. We enjoyed the quiet location and complex and being away from the south side. Great location to get to everything on the island and we preferred travelling the east side to get down to the south end of the island as it was more scenic and less traffic issues.
Condo was good. Nothing fancy, but comfortable, which suited us. The screened in patio was great as it kept out the wind and rain (which was everyday, with a mix of sun) and we enjoy all our meals out there at any time of the day.

My daughter, partner and I wanted to go to enjoy the snow in Colorado and were able to find great accommodations at the last minute.
The condo was beautiful, well furnished and had a full kitchen.
We had a good time at the pool and hot tubs.
The front desk was very helpful and held our luggage safely the last day.

The condo needs a deep clean and updated paint, furniture and lighting. Lanai furniture wasn’t conducive to lounging and highway is on the other side of the golf course so traffic noise was usually present.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tamara's condo in Kuilima Estates West! The property was clean and well maintained. Plenty of space for our family of 5 including 3 teenaged sons There was an additional air conditioning unit installed in the loft just prior to our stay and it made the nights very comfortable for my boys. The pool is very close, equipped with a bbq for those nights you don't want to go out to eat. The security guards were always around and very friendly. Tamara was responsive when we had questions and able to accommodate our check in / check out requests without issues. We would highly recommend this property.

The other reviews for this property are pretty spot on. What most impressed us was the value of this condo when you really look at the nightly rate vs the space and location provided. My husband and two children (both young adults) had plenty of space to spread out. The location and proximity to Turtle Bay is amazing, the resort was easy to walk to and access. We took advantage of its beaches, trails, and dining. The kitchen, while not chock full of amenities, had everything we needed to cook both breakfast and dinner every day. There were even some basic spices and pantry items in the cabinet. The condo is stocked with ample pool/beach towels, as well as some water sport items (snorkel gear, water shoes, etc). The 2nd floor loft was warm, the AC didn't reach it but there were several fans up there to try and combat the heat. The initial communication we received and directions about the property were helpful and easily understandable. We had no issues with the condo and would definitely return.

The property is located in a fantastic beautiful resort located on the North Shore of Oahu. This resort has everything you need...beaches, pool, spa walking paths, horseback riding, surfing lessons, SUP, yoga, bars, restaurants, etc. The condo is cute, well stocked and well appointed. However, there is no air conditioning in the upstairs loft and it is extremely hot and uncomfortable. The two existing window units were old and loud and did not really cool the property very well during the summer. Overall....nice property and a good value for the location.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu/Waikiki. This townhome fit all the needs of my Ohana. It was clean, convenient and provided a safe environment to enjoy our time during our stay. This rental definitely has a beach house living style to it. Like a cabin in the woods by a lake in northern Canada but in a Hawaiian style. This rental was very well stocked with absolutely everything we needed for our stay. I have to note that it was stocked with quality toilet paper and paper towels, unlike other rentals where they use cheap commercial use materials. We would definitely rebook this rental if available during our next visit to Hawaii!

If you are looking for a quiet get away this is where you want to stay. This condo complex is fairly remote so plan to drive to all services (grocery, beach, food trucks, shops, and excursions). Turtle Bay Resort is very nice but you do not have access to all of their amenities. The condo is as pictured and has everything you need. However, the pictures don’t depict the age. The furniture was fairly uncomfortable.
We experienced a couple of issues with our stay but the property manager responded quickly to our calls and text and refunded one night stay for our inconvenience which was nice and unexpected.

Family of 6 just finished our stay here and it was fantastic. The location is amazing. Steps away from a pool and so many beaches around the property. I have 4 kids and they all slept comfortably upstairs with 2 twins and a queen for my 2 smallest kids. The mattresses were comfortable. A queen bed in a bedroom downstairs for my husband and me. The washer and dryer were awesome so we didn't have to pack a lot of clothes. She had 2 boogie boards, 6 towels, and sand toys stocked at the property. Overall the location was the best part.

The location is amazing and the unit is very nice. We do a lot of cooking in the unit. This was our only struggle as the pots and pans aren’t the best. There are no sharp knives, cookie sheet or Tupperware. Several items had to be Recleaned because they were put away dirty which is a reflection of previous guests not the owner. Please be kind to your VRB owners. They are trusting us with their property!

Loved staying on turtle bay property, we used the public trails and beaches every day. We did drive to the beach as it was a 10-15 min walk for the kids. The Unit was dated but clean. Kids loved the loft, and boogie boards and beach toys to play with.

The property was very nice with easy walking access to the beach area to go snorkeling. Great location on the North Shore on the island. The condo was the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 kids with the basic amenities for a week stay. The loft area had its own bathroom and beds which was nice for our 2 small kids. The condo was a bit dirty upon check in with lots of sand on the floors especially up in the loft area. There was dirt and dust under the master bed that had not been cleaned in a while it appeared. The ceiling fan in the main room was really dusty. We found spider webs that were on the chair and around the phone area. Overall, it met our needs for our lodging needs. The place needs a good detail cleaning.

Breaker was popped when we got there so not lights or air. If you use the air too much they take your deposit. Should be included in rental cost. Bath tub was plugged and we had to clean it out. Didn’t have a key fob for the gate when we first arrived. No instruction book for expectations for check out. Found some cockroaches even though we know it’s Hawaii and they are there we found dead ones in the bathroom drawer upstairs and a couple on the main floor.

We used to live on the north shore and we’re surprised at how few bugs we saw and how nice everything was. We fit our family of 5 just fine with space to spare. Proximity is close and central to everything on the north shore. Next time we come we will definitely be searching for this place.

A fantastic place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Perfect location next to Turtle Bay resort, Laie on the east side of North Shore, and Pupukea on the west. The condo was clean on arrival. There was a small misunderstanding about the parking pass. I thought there would be one on arrival but we needed to go to security. The guard we talked to was super nice and helpful. Tamara was also very kind and helpful with any issues we had. There is a note that said they spray for bugs but that only goes so far. There were tenney-tiny bugs in the condo but not an issue, and we found two cockroaches dying from the effects of the pesticide; however, you are on a tropical island so it sort of comes with the vacation. Our group didn't sleep very well on the beds so I would recommend upgrading those whenever possible. We used the boogie boards provided to do some body surfing and had a blast. (Lost my watch in the process without knowing it and then found it later in the surf. Lol) Overall it was amazing!

The rental unit was a disappointment. The furniture was old, outdated and uncomfortable, and some pieces were broken. The TV in the master bedroom was inoperable. The bedding and furniture covers in the loft smelled of sweat and stale cigarettes, and the loft itself was hot and stuffy because there was no air-conditioner up there. The shower broke during our visit and we had to wait 24hrs for a repair. I do not reccomend this unit for anyone and will not rent it again.

Condo works for 3-5 people. Definitely for the elderly or someone wheelchair bound.The whole place had a really bad smell to it. So much that we went out as much as possible. It was the worst up in the loft area. (Very strong) It made it very hard to sleep. Definitely would recommend something with a little , more air conditioning. Although there was an air conditioner in the bedroom, it could not be run unless the door was shut which couldn't help circulate the air for any other rooms for fear of over heating. Overall, if for just a short stay and not much lounge time was needed, this would probably suit your needs. Host was good to work with.

I'm sorry but I would not recommend this property to friends or family. The property has an odor that we presumed was chemical from insect treatment, but it never went away and we kept finding bugs. The property was hot, our son had to sleep on the lanai, can't imagine him sleeping in the loft. You will have to keep the fans running the whole time. There is one air conditioner in the bedroom, it had a hard enough time keeping that room cool. You could say it's tropical here and I should have expected bugs and heat, but it put a damper on our trip and will be what we remember.

It does get a bit hot but ac in master bedroom works well. Bathroom upstairs smells of mildew so we all shared downstairs bathroom. Wifi works great & kitchen is well stocked. Five of us came and stayed at the condo for almost a week. It was the perfect size and had everything we could have asked for. We got in late and there were towels ready for us when we got in. The kitchen is stocked with every cooking utensil you need to make a meal. The lanai was excellent for the hot lazy days and in the evenings when we needed to cool off. It is located in a prime area for getting to many amazing beaches and sampling the best shrimp I've ever had. I highly recommend this and will definitely be returning again in the future.
