Always loved Kihei Kai Nani with close beach access to great beaches. Lots of shopping places and we love 808 Deli and Cafe Olei. Condo had most of what we needed and loved to not have to buy paper products, dishwasher soap etc. loved having beach chairs. Needs a better umbrella is only complaint. Thanks for great stay.

I loved the property, the ground floor is great to at least try to drop the sand outside. Perfect for three or four. It's central to everything, the restaurant next door "Fred's" is excellent. Our host Tracy was more than accommodating letting us stay later as our plane didn't leave till 11:00 pm. Nice accommodations and a wonderful visit to Hawaii.

Had everything anyone could want or needed. On island contact was very friendly even had a treat in the fridge for us upon arrival.Just a walk across the street to see the best sunset on the island. Everything is with walking distance for restaurants and stores. Great snorkelling right across the street.

Location was amazing, and the apartment had everything we needed - the kitchen was fully stocked, had beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. The only downside is the windows are older so you can hear people and cars outside very clearly.

Bed was super comfy, kitchen was quite adequate., and the location was perfect- loved the quick access to the beach!

Traveling with kids aged 5, 9, the Murphy bed here was a big step up from a pull out couch. It's a real mattress. Very close to laundry, pool, and walk to beach. Condo kitchen needs a salad spinner and a better frying pan (the pots & pans were once good quality Circulon but have aged and don't perform well on coil burner stove. The condo floor needs a good SCRUB, and window ledges are grimy/have evidence of geckos.
Ac works well, very comfy beds, easy to spend 2 weeks. Lanai disappointed: no breeze from that direction, many wild chickens to poop out there too. Enough beach equipment for us: small tubes, flippers, chairs, boogie boards. Bathroom shower is great, vanity showing its age, rickety.
Bedroom furniture drawers don't pull out - corroded drawer pulls and swollen wood.
It's a good condo, but showing its age. Must get a lot of renters. Bedroom windows from 2 directions not best crosswind as one side faces noisy hot exhaust of laundry room - does quit by 9pm. We are very familiar with Kai Nani, and will opt for a different unit next time mostly for a better breeze & lanai position.

I was able to book this property last minute, Tracy responded really fast. The property was very clean, bed comfortable, liked having a TV in both rooms, location was just across the street from Ocean, walking distance to bars & restaurant's, pool was nice too.

As always the unit was impeccably clean and had everything you need in a home away from home. There were welcoming gifts in the fridge and plenty of towels. I also love that there are boogie boards, snorkels, beach umbrellas and beach chairs for use. Plenty of ice in the freezer, laundry facilities and a gorgeous pool. Everything is clean and the landscaping team is always on the go and so friendly. I appreciate every person here who makes KKN so special to me every time

Don't expect a new place, the complex is older. But this unit was very clean, comfortable and had so much going for it. We were very happy staying here for 8 days. Great communication from the owner and manager. Pool and laundry is close by. This place was very private. Honestly had everything we would need. Thanks so much VRBO and the owner for making our time in Maui one to remember.

A great place to stay, near the beach, shopping and restaurants. Unit was clean, bed was comfortable and condo complex was well maintained and quiet. Coin operated washer and dryer was near unit. Pool was well maintained. We would definitely stay there again.

All in all, this met our needs and was a great home base for our stay on Maui. The location is perfect. Walking distance to great beaches and restaurants. Easy access to the rest of the island. The Lanai and patio set was a nice quiet place to wind down and cool off in the shade.
The complex was beautifully maintained and very clean. Laundry, pool, BBQ, and parking are a very short walk from the condo. The older residents were very accommodating with our young children in the pool.
The only minor knock on our stay was the lack of bedding for the murphy bed (sheets and pillowcases were available, but no spare blanket or pillows). I messaged the host about this on check-in day but never heard back. I didn't think it necessitated a phone call to the on-island support staff, so we made do. The towels were good and the main bed is very comfortable. The ice maker in the fridge was very quick and appreciated for day trips (along with the two coolers supplied).
Overall I'd give it a 4.5 if possible and would certainly return.

On our first visit to Maui, we didn't know what to expect and were very pleased with our stay here. The place is well appointed with super comfortable beds, options for fans or a/c or neither, and a great shower. We didn't cook, but the kitchen seemed to be well equipped for meal preparations. The condo is in a great location across from a nice beach and just steps away from restaurants and stores. Parking, laundry, and pool are all close by, as well. A very pleasant and easy stay.
