Overall it was clean, accurate listing, a little too warm for my family to stay during the day with the temps above 85 when with the fans going, we bought another stand fan for the bedroom so they could sleep a little more comfortable. Perfect place though to cook a quick breakfast and then get home around 10pm after spending the day out.

Convenient and centrally located condo, less than a block to a nice sandy and clean beach with 3 popular local restaurants right on the corner. It was a great stay and the price was right.

Fantastic location, walking distance to beach and shops, restaurants etc. Looked better in person than in photos. Well stocked kitchen, lots of towels etc and super clean. Sofa bed was one of most comfortable we have ever used, son loved it. We were aware that there was no AC, there were two ceiling fans (one had a bad rattle, other didn't work) and one on a stand. Nights were plenty cool with great breezes but keeping the windows open allowed the roosters crowing in the overnight/early morning to wake us up. Roosters are common on the islands so we expected it. If both ceiling fans worked properly it would have been a better night sleep and is an easy fix. The tub was painted and paint was peeling off. We didn't care and for the price we paid it was a non issue for us. All in all it was great and we would stay there again. If you show up in the dark the unit is located in the last building on the left #8 at the end.

Even though we had a few hiccups with the stay it was overall a great experience, just no AC and semi- old built, but super close to the beach! Host was super responsive and great! Had a great time!

We had a great time at the condo! Its the first time we go to Maui and didn’t get ocean view but I enjoyed the lush greenery view from the lanai. The place is really decent and good value for the $$. The living room is spacious and the condo has everything one need. The king bed was comfortable, the place has ceiling fans and extra fans too so it was pleasant to sleep at night. I particularly don’t like AC so if you want to have it in Hawai’i then go to the fancy resorts. I live in Seattle and it’s cold in here 9 months of the year so I really like the warm air from the tropics. Check in was a breeze. The place is quiet at night and we had a symphony of birds in the morning that was quite enjoyable. We had a little issue and management was quick to fix the problem. Overall a great stay! I recommend this place and would love to stay here again. Mahalo!

The property is in an excellent location, and the grounds are very clean.
The unit itself had some issues… There is no actual air conditioning, just 2 fans to use. The bathroom doesn’t have a fan, and the curtains in the bedroom don’t open or close. We found a cockroach in the bedroom, and one in the kitchen, as well as a gecko/lizard in the kitchen. There are itty bitty little bugs crawling around the kitchen and bathroom sinks, that didn’t seem to go away even if we wiped them up.
Other than that, the place was clean and we really loved the location being so close to the beach, and lots of Kihei activities.

For booking last minute, the place was OK. They cleaned everything before we got here but it is an older place with some issues. Not terrible but it could use some maintenance. But it has new carpet and it was clean.

Great location! Everything necessary for life is there, not new but for a fair price. Roosters sing loudly in the morning, I advise you to have earplugs. Thank you very much, would come back again.

We have stayed at this complex in different units a few other times. This unit did not disappoint. Was very clean, quiet and had all the thoughtful little items that make this Vrbo condo at the beach a great option. We really appreciated how clean the unit was when we checked in. Would highly recommend.

If you want AC, go somewhere else; otherwise, this place has all you need and at great value. Comfortable, relaxed, friendly (but not overbearing), and a great location. Kihei is the chill side. Lovely!

I really wanted to have a good experience...I did but there were just too many things
1) contacting the property manager was difficult. Several times I reached out regarding a late check out and I either received no answer or (finally) an answer but only a vague answer so I was never quite sure if I actually could stay later or if my luggage would be on the front lawn when I returned the last day
2) I was given an address but it didn't include the building number so I spent quite a bit of time wandering around in the dark when I arrived, looking for the right place
3) the blankets on the bed they were dirty (the top blanket had blood stains on it)!
4) no air conditioning - although there were fans in the apartment - it just wasn't enough to keep it cool
5) I had to wash the floors because they were so sticky - my feet stuck when I walked.
With a little TLC this place would have been ok, the location is great, but these issues were just too much for me.

Pro's are it is close to beaches, restaurants, and lots of things to do. The bed is very comfortable and there is a nice patio with a table and chairs outside. Also, on the patio you will see 4 beach chairs ready to borrow. (Also appliances like a blender, rice cooker, etc). Great water pressure. Parking is easy with no fees and enough spots.
Cons are no air conditioning. It is in the second floor so it is always a few degrees warmer in the house. So fans need to be aimed at you while sleeping or it's going to be hot.
Bathroom a very dated. Someone tried to do a paint job on the bath tub.
Overall, it was the least expensive VRBO we could find, and for that reason it is a good deal.

Perfect old school Kihei condo! Walking distance to many amazing beaches, stores and restaurants, yet far enough off the road that it feels quiet and secluded. The condo honestly looked nicer in real life than the listing photos. It was clean, spacious and stocked w/ basic beach accessories (chairs, flippers, cooler, ice packs etc). Responsive hosts and easy check in/out. Such a great spot for visitors who are on more of a modest budget. Looking forward to staying here again!

Nice stay in a great location. We had everything we needed. Only thing I would note is that the building number is not marked, but it’s easy to figure out because other buildings around are marked. I would definitely consider staying here again if I return. Host was responsive. Apartment was very clean. Had almost everything we needed - I would make the suggestion for some tupperware. Would love to make it back and stay again.

This complex is great- and this unit is the furthest back so a nice quiet spot! Unit is roomy but tired and the furniture a little dingy. Kitchen oddly arranged but had everything we needed. The complex is close to great beaches and amenities. And a lovely pool area.

Quiet location at end of condo property. Comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen, new furniture and flooring, freshly painted interior and well maintained grounds and pool area. No AC, but lots of fans and limited direct sun...there was no issue. Owners are very responsive to issues. Direct assess to Kam2 beach across the street and bus stop for Maui Bus. And the "Moose" bar next door for happy hour 4-7pm and fun with the locals. The deli 808 has great sandwiches for the beach. Enjoy!

Property is clean, quiet and well equipped. It is a second floor unit in the back of the complex so you can walk out the door and see the sun or moon rise over Haleakala and take a 5 minute stroll to the beach.

My daughter and I came to visit the national park and have some downtime after a yoga retreat. The location and apt were ideally located for us. Close to shops restaurants and the beach and easy access to the road to cross the island. The only recommendation is that the check in instructions could have been more descriptive. We arrived late and there wasn’t much lighting so it was difficult to find the building. So instead of saying go to building x maybe the instructions could be building x is the last on the left or something like that to make it easier. That’s a small thing but could be very helpful!

It is in serious need of an update, including a/c, bathroom exhaust fan, better mattress, better easy chair, better furnishings. On other hand, had all the supplies you'd need and couch was okay so I slept on it. Loved sound of birds (except roosters) and the fragrance of plumeria wafting into unit. The complex itself has a great pool where I met many very nice visitors and residents. Will come back but not to this unit.

We were so happy with our stay. The Unit had everything we needed . On days we didn’t want to go explore the Island ,we could walk to the beach and eat our meals right next door to the condo. We had turtles swim right up next to us while at the beach across the street. We highly recommend this unit and will be staying there again .

The property was very well organized, the appointments were as good as a major resort. The "miracle" part was the price was so much better than most of the major resorts in the area. All in all, the condo was very comfortaable.

Spent one week in this condo. Great location, nice pool area. The beach is steps away, several good restaurants very close. Grocery store within walking distance. Owner easy to reach and easy to communicate with, although we never got to meet him. Easy check in with lock box. Condo was clean, plenty of towels, etc. Kitchen was well equipped. The condo could use some updating and there is no air conditioning, but both of these issues were manageable. Nice stay.

My partner and I stayed 5 nights this summer and absolutely loved the room. The location cannot be beat! The room is quiet but located in the middle of the 3 major Kamaole beach parks, and right in the middle of lots of great food options. I had a bum ankle, and was in a brace, so this really mattered to us. The room itself is clean and gets a nice cross breeze if you open the door and leave just the guard door closed. There is no AC, but there are 2 ceiling fans and a powerful standing fan that did the job. Overall, we loved the place and would recommend to anyone.

Room was updated with new carpeting, new refrigerator, new sofa bed, new coffee machine; so it's much nicer than looks on the pictures. There is no cockroaches in the room which I've read and other reviews. The room could be cleaned better on arrival though.
