OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

Unwind and relax with several of the restaurants within walking distance, take in some great live music or work on your swing at our lush expansive golf courses. NEIGHBORHOOD:
Kona is our favorite place to be! It is not overrun by high rise hotels and tons of traffic!! It definitely has the small town feel which makes it even more relaxing! Everyone is so friendly and always greets you with a smile! Within walking distance to the Village, restaurants and shops, it's the perfect getaway. Grocery stores like Safeway, Sac N' Save and Daylight Mind Bakery and Cafe are just up the hill.
Kona is also home to major renowned golf courses, or if you prefer fishing, there are many tour operators ready to take you.

GETTING AROUND:
You are walking distance to town to enjoy the many shops and restaurants.

The Kona Trolley, also known as the Keauhou Honu Express Shuttle, is an open air trolley that travels round-trip between the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Kailua-Kona, the Kailua Pier, Kona International Marketplace, and Macy's, making numerous stops along Ali'i Drive. This is a nice way to see the town and avoid driving, especially if you are staying in Kailua-Kona. The Kona Trolley runs daily from 9 am to 9 pm. Fare is $2.00/person per transfer.
