This property is excellently situated on S. Kihei Rd close to great food, shopping and beaches. Walking was safe and a very enjoyable part of our stay and daily routines. The unit is well appointed and comfortable. We made good use of the full kitchen facilities (fridge, stove and spacious counters) and appreciated the small touches like the blender and tupperware as we like to cook and eat well. Was great to have a washer/dryer too.
The complex is peaceful and well maintained, with incredible gardens. Our kind hosts were *amazing* and helped ease our travel stress home (we were visiting during the fires.) Mahalo to our hosts and thank you again.

We have never been to Maui and needed to book a last minute trip (like 12 hours before flights!). We were very happy we found this listing! The property itself (on the outside) was a bit dated, but the unit was very modern and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. Grocery store and restaurants are right down the road and the beach is across the street. It’s fairly windy in Kihei most of the time and particularly at the beach so we only went once to that one (Charlie Young). We also never used the pool—-usually full of families with a lot of kids and it’s pretty small…but no biggie.
Geographically speaking we found Kihei to be very convenient. 25 ish minutes from airport and Pai’a, 40-45 minutes from Lahaina and Kaanapali (we drove there multiple times on our trip.
Do’s- Rent a car! It’s worth it to be able to explore the whole island and all it has to offer! Have a breakfast or two and Kihei Cafe—great food, fast service and reasonably priced. Stock up on snacks and some essentials at Foodland right up the road (we also stopped at Costco when our flight got in). Go to Whaler’s Village for shopping and have a beach day there at Kaanapali Beach—it’s absolutely gorgeous! Shop around in Lahaina and take in some of the historical sights. Drive The Road to Hana! We downloaded the Shaka Guided tour app on our phone for $20 and it takes you to all the sights along the way and provides a rich history of the island.

We enjoyed the location of condo in Kehei with its access to multitude of beautiful and child friendly beaches (Keawakapu Beach) and food trucks. Kehei is a good location for Mountain Haleakala and Road to Hana. Condo had some items like beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear for guest use…very nice. We had great stay overall.

This vacation home in Maui Vista is perfect!
We felt very comfortable in the tastefully furnished and very clean apartment.
It all looked just like the photos here and the plaid in the bedroom was even prettier.
The complex is very well maintained and safe and well equipped with three pools (very relaxing!) and various tennis courts. BBQ places are also available, but we did not use them.
The apartment is equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen has a large stove with oven, a microwave and a dishwasher.
Coffee, tea, salt and pepper were conveniently already available.
And the washing machine and dryer in the apartment we have also appreciated very much.
The sofa bed in the living room-kitchen area is big enough for 2 people and it's a good place to sleep. Likewise on the bed in the bedroom.
There are even beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel and body board for a beach day. We were so happy to be able to use all of this.
We highly recommend this vacation rental!

I stayed at Sean & Theresa's property with two friends while snorkelling and hiking our way around Maui. Their property was a restful retreat after full days of adventuring and has a truly fantastic location — just a short walk to excellent snorkelling, surfing, and eats. It was me and my two teenage boys. Location is wonderful - just across the street from Charley Young beach, walking distance to tons of restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, etc. Totally quiet while we were there, no trouble with other condos at all. Owner was communicative and helpful. Small ant issue in kitchen but we made sure to keep food cleaned up and put away and it was a minor problem to trade for tropical climate! The beach gear is pretty rough, boogie boards and a chair are all broken and the towel rack in the bathroom is broken. Kitchen equipment is minimal but did the job honestly all that stuff was really minor compared to just being in a great location. Bed was super comfy and it was amazing to have laundry on site. Definitely would recommend & would stay again.

This condo is nice and the pictures are as exactly as shown, very clean and modern. Our check in process didn't go as smoothly as expected but after the situation was resolved everything was great. Beach is just across the main street and the condo grounds are well kept. More beaches and restaurants are just a short drive away. Having a washer/dryer in the condo was a plus. Kitchen could use a few more cooking pans and some towels, the bathroom could use a hand held shower instead of a fixed shower head but everything else was perfect. Would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed our stay. My father is handicapped, he can get around with a cane and walker, and the property wasn’t too much of a hassle for him. There was an elevator and the unit was not too far from the parking lot. We did not walk to any food but there is a beach across the street. There is also plenty of food and beautiful beaches just a short drive away.

This property had all the Amenities we needed. Nice and clean we were walking distance from the beach. If you are planning to take a trip to Haleakala, this is a nice location as it only takes an hour to get the front gates. Fast reply from the proper manager was great! Would recommend this place

It was a pleasure to stay at Maui Vista. The condo has everything what you need for your vacation. The location is also very good, across from Charley Young beach, which is very good for sun bath and swimming. The condo complex is also close to stores and places to eat. Other than some trouble checking in (code did not work) and a bit of trouble getting ahold of our hosts for a new code, we were ultimately happy with the rental. It is quite clean and there is an abundance of beach equipment to use. Bedroom faces the BBQ area so it was a bit loud when we went to bed early to hike Haleakala but it's usually quiet after 10 pm. The kitchen is nicely renovated compared to other condos and quite clean.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this perfectly sized condo in Kihei. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed - even had a blender to make smoothies with all the fresh fruit we got at the farmer's market. The location was ideal too - right across the street from the beach and in close to many great restaurants and shops. Also a short drive to Wailea and not far from the airport as well as getting to Paia to start the Road to Hana. Had a great stay and would definitely stay here again in the future! Stayed here for a short weekend interisland trip. Everything was as described. Clean and simple... great neighborhood and friendly atmosphere. As noted in another review, the bed is a little creaky so if you're a light sleeper you might want to take note of that.

Great place! Very clean and well kept. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and dine. The property is equipped with a beautiful area to bbq and picnic, a pool, tennis courts, & more. Nice and quiet at night time, no issues with loud or unruly neighbors.
We did have an issue with an out-if-service elevator. It's on the 2nd floor so not to bad if you're not having to carry all of your luggage up the stairs, or groceries, chairs and cooler to take to the beach. The elevator was up and working by the time we left. Hopefully that isn't an issue often.
The bathroom is small but worked out fine for just the two of us. We were a bit disappointed that there was no hot tub by the pool, but we were there in Oct. & Nov. During summer months I'm sure nobody wants to get in a hot tub lol.
We would stay there again for sure!

The property was perfectly situated less than a five minute walk from a great beach (Charley Young Beach/Kamaole Beach Park I). Picturesque Hawaiian beach with lots of room to spread out and perfect sunset viewing. We went back to this beach multiple times even after we had left the condo to stay elsewhere. The condo is also within walking distance of shops, restaurants and some amazing food trucks. The condo had everything we needed for our days at the beach including chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc. It was clean and very comfortable. The balcony is well situated to offer privacy and nice views of the garden. Even though it was part of a grouping of condos, the area was quiet and felt safe. It was great that the unit came with parking. The owner responded promptly when I had any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Unable to check-in until 6pm
WiFi/Tv don’t work well or at all? Tried but gave up
Overall, our stay was satisfactory but next time we will be looking for a more clean place to stay with a view of the ocean.

Our family enjoyed one week at this VRBO. The location is great for exploring Maui. The host was very responsive to our needs and we made use of the beach supplies at the VRBO. Only minor complaint is that the bathroom could be a bit cleaner. But overall great stay, highly recommend!

Sean's place is perfect for us. His unit is in building 2, which is perfectly placed just far enough away from the busy South Kihei road, yet close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants.
Modern one bedroom, one bathroom with all the essentials, though we were hoping for 2 bodyboards (as per the listing). Rented them from Snorkel Bob's down the street.
Would stay in Sean's unit again without hesitation!!

Ownership had great communication and replied super fast. This unit was perfect for my family of 4 and had everything ready when we got there, plus they had two beach chairs and 4 beach towels. Checking in was super easy since it was keyless entry. The only downside is the size of the pool area but hey the beach is a 2min walk which was perfect. We would stay here again.

Great stay. Nice upgrading done by the owners, very clean and looked like the photos. Very quiet building, didn’t hear any noise from neighbours. Owners were very pleasant. Any questions we posted on VRBO site were responded to within the hour. Liked the short walk across the road to a great beach (Charley Young beach) and found many of the amenities within walking distance . We came in Feb and whale watching from the beach was a plus. Spacious living room accommodated a visit from our grand kids no problem. First time staying in Kihei, normally go to Kaanapali but found Kihei great, less expensive, less windy and warmer. Beach chairs and towels are provided at this great location just across the street from the beach. There's plenty of parking and you're super close to shops and restaurants in Kihei.
The unit is spacious, clean, and exactly as pictured. Keyless entry went smoothly until the last day when the code stopped working by 8:30 am. Easy communication with the property managers plus Theresa and Sean resolved everything quickly.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Maui Vista Condo. The owners made the booking painless and efficient (usually responded within days). The location was close to shopping, grocery shopping, and south and central Maui golf courses. The unit was quiet, well stocked with the necessary kitchen appliances, etc, had worry free keyless entry, A/C in the living/dining/kitchen area only (ceiling fans in bedroom and living room), and a washer and dryer in the unit which was really nice. I needed something during our stay, Sean or Theresa responded quickly (greatly appreciated) and took care of my request by the next morning.

We had an incredible stay at this Kihei condo that was clean, wonderfully renovated, and in an ideal location across the street from one of our favorite beaches and walking distance to restaurants. There is easy parking on site and the condo had everything you could need from cooking utensils to beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and a boogie board. Can’t wait to come back again in the future!
