My family and I booked our vacation to Maui last year. After the fire we debated if we should go. Our original reservations were cancelled so I was grateful to find this beautiful resort. Cynthia was very helpful in answering questions and even traveled there to ensure everything was ready for us. It is a very spacious condo, beautifully decorated and fully stocked. The view of the ocean and sunsets were spectacular. We enjoyed the bar and grill on site, swimming pools, pickleball courts and beach. We were able to travel the island and do everything we had planned. We visited with many locals who were grateful we were there so they could get back to work. The beach rental shack was not open but it is now. There are two body boards, snorkeling gear and sand toys for you to use. We walked to several eating places and a daily trip to
Whalers nearby for treats and found lots of goodies at the ABC Stores. I highly recommend renting from Cynthia, we hope to make it back there again.

We loved this condo. The location is central to everything, not to mention the amazing condo itself. Very clean and modern. One of the few units in the building with AC (we didn’t need it much but was nice to have it). The beach and pool access were perfect for our kids. The turtle watching from the balcony was a hit for adults and kids. You just can’t beat it’s location in the building right on the ocean. The building itself is older and the restaurant wasn’t our favorite, but that wouldn’t keep me from staying here again if we ever make it back. Overall, this unit is everything the listing says it is and was perfect for our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids).

Everything was great in this unit. From the time we walked in and seeing the great view to everything in between. Kitchen had everything we needed, bedrooms worked out great, nice bathrooms, laundry was convenient, and nice living area. The property was beautiful, played some pickleball, great beach area, nice pool, great onsite restaurant and bar. We would definitely let others know and hopefully be able to come back ourselves

Clean, comfortable, spacious unit with BEST views and GREAT location! Couldn't ask for more, had everything we needed for our weeklong stay! AC kept unit cool, and able to turn off and enjoy trade winds and fresh air at night. Close enough to Front Street & Kaanapali, but loved being a little farther north. MOST beautiful sunsets and saw over 100 turtles from our 8th floor vantage point! We intended to use the onsite bbqs, but so many great food options nearby, we never did.

The unit is spacious and worked well for Grandparents in one room and parents with kids in the other.
The view is spectacular. We spotted whales from the balcony. Turtles were close in everyday.

We were so fortunate to have stayed in this lovely condo. Gorgeous ocean views right above the beach. Perfect for whale watching and lovely sunsets. The condo served our needs very well. Beautifully appointed and comfortable. There were five adults and two young children in our family group. All the beds were comfortable including the queen sleeper. This condo has everything you need. We enjoyed preparing most of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. We also used the well maintained grills on the property. The property has lovely landscaping and we enjoyed the pools and the beach. The children’s pool was especially enjoyed by our young grandchildren.. We were lucky to see a Monk Seal lying on the beach right below us. We also saw many turtles when we walked further along the sandy beach to the south near the rocky outcropping.
Also snorkeling was great! It was a wonderful vacation and we would love to stay again. Thank you Cynthia for being such a great hostess!

The view looking out to the ocean was breathtaking. Never got old. We have 4 kids under 7 years old and the unit handled our group perfectly. Location of resort is nicely located. Far enough from crowds but very short drive to Kaanapali or Lahaina. Never once felt overly crowded. Pool and beach access is so easy and close. Great food and staff at the beach house bar downstairs as well. Will be recommending this to anyone going to Maui.

We give the highest praise to this property and if (when) we return, we will most definitely stay here again. It was as spacious as expected, both beds were extremely comfortable, the showers were nice, and it came with everything we needed. The start and end of our day was incredible as we would sit on the balcony that was so close to the ocean (just a few feet from the beach) but 8 stories up. A great view of Kahana Bay as well as Lanai and Molakai. We saw multiple whales every day with incredible whale breaches, sea turtles occasionally, and even a pod of dolphins, cruise ship, and military sub on different days. The sunsets were beautiful and no two were the same. It's hard to believe you could find a better view than from this balcony.

We had a wonderful stay in Maui and fully enjoyed the unit at Sands of Kahana. It was exactly as described in the listing and pictures, the views from the balcony were even more stunning! Even though we were there early in season, we still saw a couple of whales from the balcony and sea turtles swimming just off the beach that we could also see from the balcony. We spent a lot of time enjoying that beautiful balcony! The location was convienient, we appreciated walking across the street to grab dinner at Miso Phat Sushi (incredibly fresh!), Dollie's Pizza and the Brewery on the evenings we wanted to stay close. Having the Whalers General Market close was helpful for picking up last minute needed items. We enjoyed the restaurant on property for happy hour. It was an easy drive to experience Front Street and to get to the harbor for our snorkeling tour. The beds in the unit were really comfortable and it was relaxing to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. We only needed to contact the owner once during our stay and she was incredibly helpful and easy to reach, and all communication prior to our stay was clear, easy, and appreciated. Checking in and out was a breeze! There were only 3 of us staying in the unit and had lots of room, there is plenty of room for larger families as well! I highly recommend staying at this property for your Maui adventures. Thank you Cynthia for your warm hospitality and opening up your beautiful condo for all to enjoy!

This condo was as pictured and views from the windows and balcony were amazing! We could see turtles multiple times from our balcony. We snorkeled from the beach and it wasn’t the best snorkeling we did there but we did see turtles multiple times! The location was great and close to several other beautiful beaches as well! The pool was crowded so we did not use it. It seemed that this condo is probably one of the nicest units in the resort - the property itself seemed a little rundown, but this condo was beautiful and we were happy to have A/C!

We literally could have sat on the deck overlooking the ocean the whole entire trip! It was absolutely stunning!!! The location and view can’t be beat! My kids played on the beach and swimming pool everyday. We used the gas grills and had sunset dinners on the porch. We watched the turtles swim along the shore, a seal came up in the beach one day, we could see the wales and we even saw a huge full rainbow over the ocean that lasted for 30 minutes! The owner even left us such a sweet hand written welcome note. Our experience was just incredible!

First time to Maui and this property did not disappoint! The views were unbelievable...the sunsets, the other islands, the whales, the dolphins, the turtles...so beautiful! If the views weren't enough, the property had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. If you're considering booking this property, just do it.

We have been to Maui 5 times, and this place was the best (by far) of them all! Cynthia, (the owner) is incredible to work with, and she ensures that every detail of your stay is the very best there is. The view from the lanai is amazing, and there are screens on the sliding doors so we could sleep with them open. (all places don't do this!) Everything you could possibly need/want is available in this condo, and it is updated, roomy, and cheery. When we return to Maui, we will definately stay here again!

What a wonderful 2 weeks we spent in Cynthia and John’s condo! It is decorated with and island flair and was cleaned with great care. The a/c was great to have in the afternoon because the Oceanside windows face the sun. We loved this place and definitely will return!

The beauty and the expansiveness of the view from this condo is present wherever you are in the condo. Very well equipped, loads of towels and beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc. lots of drawer space and huge closets. Lovely large kitchen with everything you need. Great bed in Master Bedroom. Did not use second bedroom. We came for the humpback migration and the condo was the perfect spot for hours of whale spotting. We brought our own binoculars, but read in guest book that they also have a pair. Probably saw 200 whales over 5 days. Between whales, turtles and spinner dolphins, these marine life fans were absolutely thrilled. Will recommend to everyone I know and hope to return soon. Great hosts with good communication and helpful information. Loved on site restaurant since we are avoiding indoor dining during COVID. Very good food and service. Many nearby beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Oh and sunrise and sunsets are exquisite! Thank you Cynthia and John!

This condo exceeded our expectations and was the perfect place for our family vacation. The view from the condo was absolutely stunning. We spent many hours watching the whales, surfers, and sunsets from our lanai. The unit was very well equipped and even provided beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear. Our family agreed that this has been our favorite condo that we have stayed in at the Sands of Kahana. We will definitely be returning to this unit in the future.

Beautiful views!! Great property! Awesome location, a quick drive or walk to a lot of activities. Our hosts. Cynthia and John were amazing!! We had one issue and they were very responsive, actually before we even knew about it, they told us about it and corrected it as quickly as possible. They made sure we had all the information we needed about the property prior to arrival. They were really fantastic. We will definitely stay with them again. We are a family of 5 with 3 adult children and stayed in a 2 bedroom. Had plenty of space for all of us. A beautiful condo. The trip was amazing

Cynthia was an incredible host. She made sure that everything was extra clean (given that we were traveling with 2 toddlers during a pandemic). The condo was well equipped with more than enough supplies like beach towels & beach chairs, a first aid kit & extra items in the pantry and fridge (like creamer & ketchup) we didn't expect. The handle on the oven was in a state of disrepair that made it unusable, but she did send a maintenance person to try to fix it during our stay. Overall, this is a fantastic rental! Dining on the patio with that gorgeous view of the ocean is an experience you will remember.

Beautiful oceanfront condo on the 8th floor. The ocean waves are breaking just below your lanai. Spectacular views, every amenity you can think of supplied in the unit. Master bedroom located right off the lanai so you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The property is in a great location with easy access to stores, restaurants, and quick grab-n-go eats. You can’t go wrong with booking your stay here. The owner is very easy to work with and responds promptly to questions.

Perfect layout lovely remodel, comfortable and views were killer! Beach access was so easy just a ride down the elevator, and couple steps to a very private -never crowded beach. If you go out super far to snorkel you’ll see the best spots and swimming with the turtles and a family of spotted eagle rays many times it was magical. easy parking and next time we come we will totally stay here again, now that we’ve gotten to know how to get around to the shopping areas for groceries, açaí bowls, and fine dining. loved exploring Maui and the set up of this condo was 5 star. This unit was air conditioned, clean and spacious. The beds were perfect.
The kitchen was well equipped and the owner provided us with beach chairs, pool/beach towels and a cooler .
They really thought of everything!

The resort where this condo is has a beautiful beach, beautiful grounds and a restaurant on site.

We had an excellent stay in this beachfront condo. The view was phenomenal and there were lots of things nearby to do with our toddler. The place was well-stocked, and had more than enough space for our small family. We watched the sunsets from the balcony (or beachfront) every evening. We have stayed at Sands of Kahana 5 times in the past and this is the finest unit and experience we have encountered. The pictures do not do complete justice to the amazing views and amenities of the resort. Its the perfect location to escape and enjoy relaxation or take a short drive to wonderful restaurants and entertainment options.
During our stay, we encountered a "normal course" maintenance issue and could not have been more pleased with the owner's prompt attention and communication. The care and concern of the owner was evident through the communication to resolve the issue. We saw genuine desire and pride to deliver a perfect vacation experience.
On a "5" star scale, this is a "6" star condo unit and owner. We will be back to this unit on our next trip to Maui!

The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. It was equipped with everything you need for cooking or beach going. The ocean views were incredible.
