Good location in relation to amenities, large condo with great bbq, comfy beds and in unit laundry. Downside was gardeners coming onto lanai and blowing things around and up against the sliders while trying to enjoy a morning coffee. Mongoose use the lanais for a super highway, so watch that they are closed. Stairs down to unit/back up to parking could be troublesome if you have knee issues, but was fine for us. Would stay again, super easy to deal with Knutson and condo was clean, convenient with lots of room. Pool area large and easy access.

The property is nicely decorated, with updated appliances and nice tropical touches. it has adequate supplies to get you started, the usual shampoo and soap, utensils, cups, plates, saucers, etc. There was no salt or pepper in the shakers but ok. There's a lot of ceiling fans and 2 portable fans. That said there were a few issues too that were mostly resolved, a burned out bulb, blinds that didn't work but were fixed mostly, and the big one is no AC. It gets hot in there if you have to leave and close the windows, especially summer. Overall good experience, nice place but be aware it's hot and no real view.

We expected an ocean & golf course view as listing indicated but high hedge obstructed any view. We had to purchase TP, paper towels, laundry & dishwashing soap as there was only enough for 5 days, not 16. Would suggest keypad entry as metal key was sticky.

A very nice appartment, clean, comfortable and well maintained We enjoyed having breakfast outside and the swimming pool for the children was a real bonus. The fact that it is so close from Keauhou bay is great : just 2mn by car to go to see the manta rays. No air-con but the fans are very effective and silencious, which is very appreciated during the night. That was a good choice

I loved staying at this place it was the right size for us had everything we needed. Only thing I do wish it had was an AC it does get very hot in the room with the 2 twin beds. Other than that everything was great. The beach stuff provided in one the closets was amazing.

We had a great experience, no problems at all until the 2nd to last day. We chose to use the pool, but could not find the key. The two smaller keys on the keychain weren't working. When we called, we where told that they didn't know, and they would get back at us when they could. They didn't call the rest of the day and we missed out on the pool. Similar situation happened when we accidentally locked the keys inside of the complex. We where told they had no spare key and we would have to wait and pay for a locksmith to open the door. We luckily hadn't closed the doors all the way and where able to get inside. Other than those two instances, when we had problems and had to communicate with the people in charge, the rest of the vacation was great.

Condo was very clean, quiet and comfortable.Kitchen had everything needed for cooking.Pleased to find beach chairs, beach towels and boogie boards for the beach. Really enjoyed our stay.Excellent location. Kahaluu Beach for excellent snorkeling is about 5 minutes away. Condo got a little warm but you open all the doors and turn on all the fans after a long day at the beach and it really helped. Rental agency was excellent with communication. Would not hesitate to rent from them again. We love Punahele. Have stayed at these condos 4 times now - first time this unit.

From booking to check in, our vacation experience exceeded expectations. K&A provided timely booking, payment and arrival instructions. They were very professional and accommodating, on all fronts; including extended check out and the extra night stay request, due to Covid challenges. The pictures and description of the unit are exactly as described, no surprises. Location provides quick and easy access to tourist areas and main highway. The property came well-equipped with kitchen/cooking utensils, towels, beach chairs and boards and owner's guide. It was clean and welcoming. Just like home away from home. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an R&R holiday on the BI. Thank you! :)

This condo was perfect for our family of four. Plenty of room to move around, and a nice sized kitchen. We loved that it was close enough to the attractions of Ali'i Drive, but not smack dab in the middle of all of the people. We would definitely stay here again as we have family that lives nearby. Thanks again!

While I liked the condo in general, there were a few things that were not mentioned on the rental signup. Since I have had surgery, I needed a knee scooter to get around. This unit was not only hard to get to, us thinking we needed one on the first floor for access, we had to walk a ways from our parking spot, then hike down a set of stairs to get to it. Neighbors above made a lot of noise with clomping and moving stuff around.There are no Handicapped parking spots - another bummer.There is also no mention of A/C. It’s super hot and humid at night. These units really need it for comfort. The fans do a little to help but limited.Everything is a long way around. Pool is nice but closes at 6 pm.The unit is nice with updated amenities. Rooms are comfy. The fit and finish of the condo seems to have a lot of things that should be working we’re not. TV didn’t work in master with the audio cords fed from the living area. No hot water for 3 days until I called. Kitchen and Washer dryer worked well. I guess the stay was ok but this unit should have been gone over and explained better to the short term renter.

The property was very quiet, clean and comfortable. As mentioned there is no air conditioning only fans so keep that in mind. Loved the lanai in the morning and when in town we eat at Kenichi Pacific in the Keauhou Shopping Center. Golfers in my family and the Kona Country Club which is just down the road was in immaculate condition with stunning ocean views.

We loved our time at this VRBO! It was a spacious condo for the four of us and the large kitchen was particularly lovely for families who don't want to eat out for their meals. Very clean and decorated with style. It felt like being in someone's home that they care very much about. ❤
Yes, no AC as other comments mentioned, but very common in Hawaii so just know before you go. After a day or so, our bodies all adapted to the temp and the floor and ceiling fans kept us cool overnight.
(Two downsides if you are traveling with little ones: it is a very quiet complex that is mostly owner-occupied, so it was always on my mind to hush my kids (ages 6 and 8). Also, the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom were too hard for my kids to sleep on and so the adults migrated to that room.)
Overall, we would definitely consider staying here again when our kids are a bit older. THANK YOU for letting us stay in your beautiful Hawaiian home!
