We know this building well. This unit is in the ten stack. Offers great views of the marina, ocean and even the mountains. Property management company was, as always, excellent. The most basic of amenities, but they are there.

We were a group of 2 couples who recently stayed in this 19th floor 2BD Ocean View Condo and it was a perfect choice. It was bright and spacious with an open living room and kitchen perfect for sharing but also the privacy of 2 bedrooms and separate bathrooms. Air conditioning in each bedroom and in the Living Room meant everyone was happy to be able to control the temperature. It was a nice central location for exploring.

The rental unit was exactly as described and the photo's provided served as an accurate description. Full 360 Views. Both rooms was of reasonable size and great to accommodate a family of 4. Kitchen and bathrooms are updated and laundry on the same floor (you can use your debit cards). My only suggestion was maybe install a hand held shower in the main bedroom because if your tall - it becomes a bit of a pain. There is no dish washer so you might want to grab some detergent and a sponge if you plan on cooking. AC's work well in cooling down the apartment and everything else - TV, Internet and such worked great. Your don't really interact with the building staff unless your staying at the hotel but everyone was nice. Surrounding cafes, store and places to eat was walking distance, so you had everything at your finger tips. If you plan on exploring the island and rent a car - there are nearby garages that are cheaper which was a plus for us - otherwise $40 a day a to park there. Otherwise, wonderful apartment, close to every such as beaches, restaurants and shopping. Definitely would recommend.

We had a great time in this rental.The twin beds were a little uncomfortable and the air conditioner change filter kept flashing and shutting the unit off, however, the rental company was very prompt to address our concerns. There is also a rocking chair that was very dirty. We did not complain about the chair.

The pictures online depict something way more charming than it was. The furniture was soooooo uncomfortable and limited and it was arranged very differently than what was in the online listing. It was very sterile and rundown and not worth the price. There are so many other options in this building that had functional indoor and outdoor seating areas and lighting. (not outdoor lawn chairs used as dining chairs which we ended up using on the deck because the outdoor chairs were, again, incredibly uncomfortable or a scratchy small futon as the only seating option other than a cheap rocking chair). And there was a bullet hole in one of the windows which is a little alarming when you have windows all the way around you. The complex was nice and location was okay - sat above the marina but pretty dirty and noisy. Would not stay in this unit again. It was not worth the hefty price per night. Disappointed.

The view was magnificent! The beds were very comfortable and "Mike" from maintenance was very professional and replaced the TV within a day. There were a few glitches, however. If I may suggest there should be another towel rack in the bathrooms, along with a shower caddy for soap, shampoo, etc. The furniture was not adequate for 4 people--another chair or loveseat would be nice---the chain on door was broken, the a/c in the master bedroom was way to loud and could not be used at night, and low faucet water pressure in the master bath, and soap dishes would have been appreciated. The kitchen served our needs and the appliances provided were sufficient. Easy access to the pools and to the lagoon---and Cinnamon's restaurant was excellent! And yes, I would recommend this property to my friends if I knew the small nuances were corrected. Truly enjoyed the friendliness of this beautiful state. Mahalo!

The condo is situated facing the Kewalo Basin/Ala Moana side so you can enjoy a beautiful sunset on the balcony or living room every evening. The furnishings are functional and beds were very comfy and all of us slept very well. Kitchen was great for us, although we did not cook any meals and only had coffee and cold-stuffs for breakfast.
I will mention here that I am originally from Honolulu, so very familiar with the area and have family living here. The Ilikai is the perfect location for staying close to Waikiki, but on the fringe so you don’t have to get caught in the gridlock of the main streets. One recommendation for visitors here is to allow for sufficient time when retrieving your car from the valet. It gets very busy and can take up to 15 minutes or more. Once we figured this out and allowed for the extra time, we were less stressed making it on time for dinner reservations. We discovered that the little market in the hotel is fantastic, offering lots of options for snacks, beverages, and even great selection of instant noodle bowls and sushi. They’re open late, so this was great when we needed a very late night snack/meal.
A beach recommendation that’s much quieter than Waikiki is Ala Moana Park. It’s a nicer beach area and protected by a reef, so the water is quieter and much safer for kids.
Overall, I would recommend this condo.

The condo had many cleanliness issues upon arrival including stained dirty chairs, dirty floors, smell of cigarette smoke on and around the living room couch, even a dirty dish from the cupboard. It was not the “professionally sanitized” vacation destination we thought we were paying for. Many other issues, including trying to get things resolved taking many days which means time taken away from what should be a relaxing family trip. The view is beautiful and the toilets were upscale. Those were our favorite parts of the stay. The other furniture was in need up repair and/or upgrading. One odd and a bit unsettling thing that happened. We needed cleaners to come clean the floors as they were filthy upon checkin. The cleaners came into the unit when we weren’t there and without our prior knowledge. We were told they were coming the next day (after they had already been in our unit and taken pictures with our belongings in the background). The additional problem with this was that we had belongs on the floor from Christmas morning (toys, wrapping paper, etc etc) so the floors didn’t get cleaned either. Our family had to wash our feet every night before bed.We would suggest finding another rental location with the same view!

I rented while in the area for business. The building and condo were nice and clean. I liked the large living space. The master was great. The other room was ok. View was beautiful. Furniture was nice but needs some updating. But good location. I do like to have more amenities and access to a gym on trips but it was a busy trip.

Overall, this place was really nice. The views over the harbor are AWESOME, and our family enjoyed this space. Of note though, the sliding doors to the second bedroom do not stop much sound, so anyone in the living room/kitchen, will disturb sleepers in this room. The air conditioners in the window can also interfere with sleep, as they turn on and off through the night.

This lovely condo is perfect if you want walkability into Waikiki as well as to the Ala Moana Shopping Center. There is a bus stop right outside the main entrance if you prefer to take public transportation. Only negative is it is west facing so you get amazing sunsets but it also gets incredibly hot. The A/C works great but is a wee bit noisy. Leaving the lanai door open is fine during the week, but you hear noise from the next door hotel pool on the weekends. Overall, we would stay here again. Great value, excellent location, amazing views, conveniently located.

I loved my stay here…. You get a nice view of the city on one side and the harbor/beach on the other side. There are 2 AC’s which helped keep the place very cool. The master bedroom bathroom sink trickles a little bit of water but needs to be fixed. The couch in the living room has pillows with stains on them. Aside from that loved this spot and would stay there again!

Surprised at the cost for what we got. The pictures definitely look better than in person. Cleaning being taken away was disappointing, coincidently got woke up a couple days from the union cleaners picketing all day, starting at 7am. AC units cut out of the sliders was tacky, should be mini split with air handlers in the rooms. Doors are a major pain to open and close. Outlet in master bath not working. Hotel itself was decent, just a little dated. I won't return to this unit, I give it about a C grade for the value.

We stayed 10 nights the Ilikai vacation rental. The condo was on the 19th floor and the view of the ocean was awesome. We sat on our patio every morning and evening. The two air conditioners cooled the condo down very well. We did rent the condo in October. One thing we missed was not having a place to put our suitcases. There were no dressers in the bedrooms or any luggage racks to set you suitcase on. With the 4 of us being senior citizens the was an issue for us! The furniture in the living room was stained and the dining room chairs were very stained. But, if you want a spectacular view this is the condo for you!

Very comfortable apartment with great views. Only suggestion would be to update air-conditioner's as the through window systems are fairly noisy and had to be switched off at night. Other than that we can't fault the apartment and was a great place to come back to at the end of the day.

We have stayed 3 or 4 times at the Ilikai because of location and quieter atmosphere than the Hilton next door. This unit was SUPER CLEAN and simple decor made life easy. The air conditioners were under-powered for the 2-bedroom unit (same issue in other units) even with the blinds drawn during the heat of the day; they kept up but worked many too many hours to do this.

When we checked in the condo was very clean, well maintained, and my jaw hit the floor when I saw the ocean views. I can't imagine the view getting much better than this in Waikiki. It seems as though the place has just recently been renovated and furnished. The space was comfortable for our family of four, and it was an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. We will be back for sure and we've already recommended the property to several friends. Cheers!
