Effective October 28th, 2025, through November 25th, 2025, Papakea Resort will undertake an extensive plumbing project. Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, unless authorized for weekend work. Contractors may be present on the property to commence preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM. Non-working holidays are already included in the schedule. To minimize disruption, any excessively loud work will not commence before 10:00 AM. Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.
Papakea Resort has something for everyone, with two ocean front salt water swimming pools (one heated pool right outside your lanai and we provide beach/pool towels), three tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, 12 new stainless steel Weber BBQs, two saunas and putting greens. Unlike most condo resorts on Maui, Papakea is low rise and low density. The resort offers 13 beautifully landscaped acres with multiple koi ponds and is located right on famous Kaanapali Beach.
Please note: Papakea charges a $17/day facility fee for your first 10 consecutive days in a 30 day period. The fee includes a parking permit, Wi-Fi throughout the resort, cable and local calls during your stay. Additional vehicles are $5 a day. This is collected by the Front Desk upon arrival.
Extreme remodel with ocean views! This spacious and beautifully remodeled Papakea condo is sure to please. Enjoy morning coffee and sunsets on your private lanai with brand new furniture, which overlooks Papakea Resort's lush tropical gardens and koi ponds.
Papakea J303 has a split A/C system installed in the living area, is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo situated on the 3rd floor, and can accommodate up to six guests. There is an elevator for easy access to the unit. The fully equipped and newly remodeled kitchen features new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, tiled back splash, new counter tops, and custom lighting. Enjoy dining either on the outdoor lanai or inside with dining for four plus the bar area. There are ceiling fans throughout the condo and bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a comfortable King size bed and offers a flat a screen TV. In the en-suite bathroom, you will find a beautifully remodeled and tiled oversize walk-in shower with seats for added convenience. In the guest bedroom you will find a Queen size and Twin-size beds as well as a flat screen TV. The second bathroom is beautifully remodeled and offers another walk-in shower. In the living room you will find a comfortable Queen size sleeper sofa and flat screen TV. The condo also includes a washer and dryer, free WiFi, DVD player and cable.
Papakea Resort is located at North Ka'anapali Beach and features 11 acres of lush landscaped grounds, fresh water koi ponds, 2 salt water swimming pools, 2 large jacuzzi's, 12 gas BBQ's, 2 putting greens, 2 shuffleboard courts and 3 lit tennis courts, complimentary concierge services and a 24 hour front desk with plenty of open parking. The condo is located within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, farmer's market, snorkel gear rental shop, gift shops and an ocean side park. Each evening, tiki torches light up the property for an exquisite Hawaiian tropical ambiance. There is a sandy beach just steps from the condo. Beach sand levels vary depending on the conditions. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, turtle spotting, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, and whale watching (during whale season) from this ultimate Maui property.
There's a shopping center right across the street, offering a convenient location to get groceries or a quick meal. Whaler's Village, with a variety of shops and ocean front restaurants, is a short five minute drive. There is a wonderful sandy beach walking distance from the condo. Beach sand levels can vary based on the conditions.
Our team of professionals are located on Maui to provide our guests with exceptional service. In addition, we have a after-hours emergency dispatchers to assistance when needed. We provide: Dish soap, laundry soap and dryer sheets, in addition to a complimentary starter set of Papaya Noni shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body soap. One beach chair and beach towel is provided for each guest, plus a cooler for your stay. Complimentary concierge service is available to our guests.

The location is perfect. My only complaint was we found the cleaning to be lacking. there were HUGE toenail clippings left on the seat of chair in master bedroom and elsewhere in the condo. seems like they just sprayed cleaning smell but didn't wipe anything down. Thick layer of dust on pictures and shelving and cabinets in kitchen. We went and bought Clorox wipes and windex wipes. I reported to the front office my findings and they apologized but nothing came of it. The Condo itself was in fair condition, the bed was comfortable, the grounds were great.

The place was clean and well appointed. No issue with the unit. However, we left a pair of AirPods in the bed and a bracelet on the dresser by accident upon check-out. When they checked with the cleaners they reported them not found. When we asked the management company to return to the unit to check they refused to disturb the next customer. We found that policy unreasonable and not customer oriented. We have lost some valuable items and believe that a timely search of laundry and room might have turned them up.

The main issue we had was with the Air Conditioning. There is technically AC in the place, but it is only in the living area. It wasn't powerful enough to cool the bedrooms. While there were fans in the bedrooms, it wasn't enough to keep us cool at night in September. However, the rest of the condo was really nice. Clean condo, awesome landscaping, great pools, and plenty of places to eat and shop that are within walking distance.

Maui was beautiful however the 4 hour drive on the road to Hanna was a waste of time because wrong information was given from the front desk staff at the resort. When I went to say something about it to them they excused me like I wasn't anything at all very rude. The condo was clean and the view nice.

Everything from booking to check out was easily handled. Upon arrival we had issues with toilets draining, but contacted the property manager who ensured both were fixed and ensured our stay was comfortable. The unit was very well equipped. Great variety of kitchen utensils, comfortable beds with extra linens, TVs in each room equipped with streaming services, great ac unit to keep the unit comfortable, awesome view. The description of the grounds speak for themself: plenty of activities, great view, beautifully maintained, and a stellar location. Can’t wait to stay again.
