This is the fist time we have stayed at this property and I have to say it wouldn’t be the last time as the accommodations were amazing.We did have issues with there being no hot water in part of our unit and the management team went above and beyond to assist us to resolve the situation and make it right.I would recommend this condo for sure and the management of the property is excellent!!

We spend three days in Honolulu and this location was perfectly located for access to shopping and beaches. The building is showing its age but the unit itself was very clean with a nice balcony and well appointed kitchen. This is best for a couple or couple with small children as the sofa bed was not that comfortable for an adult but the sofa itself was suitable for a single sleeper

This little condo was wonderful. It was clean and centrally located. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. It was quiet and had lots of extra amenities such as a rice cooker and beach chairs. Communication was quick and friendly. Maja in the office one building over was super nice and helpful. The only downside was that the sofa bed was not comfortable enough to sleep on. Otherwise, the place was perfect.

We just home from a 9 night stay at Waikiki Sunset. The unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The little amenities like dish soap, new sponge, little shampoos and body wash were great additions. The primary bed was very comfortable and the owners were quick to respond. A two block walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. When we go back to Waikiki we will definitely stay at Waikiki Sunset!

This is our 2nd time to stay in the Sunset building (not this particular room but the building). Everything is as described in the post. Kitchen is adequately stocked (although I didn’t cook any). The king size bed is comfortable and you can set on the lanai and enjoy the trade winds. It’s centrally located and we walked to Dennys on two separate occasions for breakfast. Parking is excluded with the room cost. Communication with the host is prompt. I highly recommend this place if you’re heading to Honolulu.

Apartment had everything we needed. Location is fantastic and free parking is a bonus! We loved having beach towels, chairs and a cooler to bring to the beach. Nice touch! Shower was great, very good pressure. The management company is very responsive. I was impressed.
The only down side is that this building is showing its age. The elevators broke down 3x in the week we were there, necessitated long waits.

Aloha, The unit, 812, was exactly as described online. It had a lovely view of the mountains to the left and you could see a piece of the ocean. The kitchen was fully equipped, beach chairs and towels are provided, and the customer service was excellent. The proximity of the building is only a short walk, 10 minutes, until your toes are in the sand. If I had to complain about anything, I would say to be patient during mid mornings and late afternoons waiting for the elevator, but I understand that this is not a reflection about the unit or the property management company. I would stay here again! Aloha!

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at this apartment, about 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach. We had a view of Diamond Head from our balcony; beach chairs, cooler, and beach towels were included. The king size bed was very comfortable. The property managers were very quick to answer any questions we had. There was an ABC store 1 block away for anything we forgot, and lots of restaurants in the area and along Waikiki Beach. Secure parking garage was appreciated. Would stay here again.

Really liked this property, located super conveniently close to the beach and park. I had my infant son and toddler daughter with me, we lii oh ced waking up in the morning and being in the beach within minutes. Apartment is super clean and has everything you need. The only thing is pull out couch is quite uncomfortable to sleep on. My parents came with me and slept rhere and said they had sore back in the morning. Bed in bedroom was comfy.

We stayed her for 3 mos so we know every detail. The advertised pictures represent the apartment very well. The only issue I had with our stay was the hallways are dated. You are relieved your room is much more modern and refreshing. The staff with Midway were responsive If I had a question and very good to work with. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.
Note; something worth mentioning, the security team are some of the finest people we met there. Sometimes in there line of work they aren’t very friendly. These men and ladies do their job well and make you feelwelcome during your stay.

We stayed here twice. Once in January and again in February. Ask them about a discount if you are a repeat renter. The apartment was ready upon arrival. Clean. It had all the items needed for a stay. It was stocked with towels, beach accessories, floor fans, all items needed to cook and wash dishes. Spacious enough for my husband and myself. It would be cramped with 4 adults. The sleeper sofa would work for young kids however I wouldn't sleep on it as an adult. I love the key code entry to the apartment. It is so much easier than carrying a key/card. It is in walking distance to Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Waikiki Beach, Blue Note Hawaii, mall, restaurants, etc. We took Uber to/from the airport and it was around $30.00 each way. We rented a car while there in February through Enterprise which is located in the Marriott Hotel diagonal from Aston Waikiki Sunset. Note: We had issues with the internet and thought it was the modem sitting on the tv stand. It is not. It is on the kitchen counter next to the wall. (The paperwork in the ring binder needs to be updated.) We also lost power to the entire building while there. When it came on, the a/c had to be reset. We called the management company and it took a few phone calls for a maintenance person in the building to come to the apartment. It was reset quickly. We shared with management how it was resolved so next time maybe they can pass it along to the renter. There is a small grocery store on the 5th floor but it is expensive. We used Instacart and ordered groceries from the local Safeway. The trash chute for the floor is right next to the bedroom wall however we did not have issues hearing anything at night. We did during the day. If we were to stay in Waikiki again, we would definitely rent this apartment.

This property is in an amazing location! It is 2 blocks off of Queens beach in Waikiki. Secure building with parking included is very much appreciated. This suite is also 1/2 block walk from a biki bike station which is also very convenient for getting around Waikiki. Most of downtown is also within a 15 min walk. Apartment is very well equipped with all the amenities needed to cook for yourself. Would definitely recommend or come back to this VRBO!
