Great location. We walked into #219 proceeded to the deck and were greeted by a half dozen turtles resting on the rocks. This was our third stay in #219 and we hope to return. We found some nice updates since our previous visit.

Perfect location for a relaxing time in Maui, so close to the turtles and amazing snorkeling. The walls are thin, so if anyone is talking loudly or having music on everyone can hear it;) very small community though. No problems with anything really! Easy checking in process with code box, easy going staff. I’d come again!

We stayed at the Cove mostly for snorkeling. In the 7 days we were there we snorkeled 12 times. The cove was a great place to very easily snorkel and there are other great snorkeling places close by. A good shop for getting fresh fish was close by also. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay great.

One of the best locations I have stayed in on the islands. We watched the turtles swim in every morning, and then sleep right below our lanai. Highly recommend. Condo is need of updating, but everything is functional and ok. Grounds are beautiful! Napili is a magical place!

You truly can’t beat the view you get from this unit! I will truly miss my mornings sitting on the lanai! Would definitely stay again. The only thing that would make this a 10/10 would be an a/c unit. However, the weather and humidity were not unbearable and the afternoon winds cooled off the unit nicely. Out of 7 nights we only had 2 that were uncomfortable. The staff was amazing as well. The snorkeling!! The best and I felt so safe having my kids swim out in the cove. This is a place that I already miss! Thank you for such a wonderful visit!

It was a great start except not long enough. The turtles were wonderful and the condo was spotless. It's always great to see Su!!! We've been coming there for years and our only problem is being able to find enough available vacancy. Hope to be back soon!!

If you like to have an exceptional view and easy access into ideal snorkeling this is a great location. Very well maintained and managed. The kitchen has everything you will need for your and the deck is fantastic. Easy access to parking and secure property walking distance to other beaches and restaurants. Amazing rainbows as well!

The Cove is the most beautiful place in the world! The water is pristine and gorgeous. The grounds are lovely and well-kept. It is a superb and peaceful place to enjoy extraordinary beauty and fantastic swimming! People are encouraged to respect the water and it's creatures. Su is so wonderfully welcoming, and always remembers my birthday and anniversary.; she creates such a friendly environment! She and Betty are both _very_ helpful!The apt was lacking many things it had formerly had--e.g. a rug, a couch, an additional chair, a c.d. player, additional silverware and glasses. Fortunately, Su and Betty helped greatly with these lacks.I do suggest the following in order to maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the cove: 1) Movie Night should be eliminated (the blasting noise from a large screen is not conducive to a peaceful ambience)2) Cell phone talking should be banned from the pool area3) Children shouldn't be allowed to scream Marco Polo in the pool--especially at night. This (and a rule against cell phone talking) should be enforced.It also might be a good idea--for safety's sake--to put a railing on the walkway to the Cove entrance.

We loved so much about our Maui stay but the best was staying here. This condo complex is a hidden gem for many reasons. The gorgeous & named landscaping, best snorkeling on the island with the most turtles, it's so upscale you expect a waiter to take your drink order at any moment when by the pool. We'd stay in this unit again and again. Loved!!

Sadly, Covid kept us from going when planned over a year ago. And more sadly, while we were gone from our beloved Oregon home to go to this privileged paradise, our state had unprecedented heat waves due to climate change and killed over 50 people. Having to put that out of our minds, this place allowed relaxation, laughter, peace, and time. The snorkeling is great. And on a positive note, the fish are BACK since mother earth put us in a year+ time out. I hope we can learn to respect her more in order to keep the Humuhumunukanuka apua'a back and thriving.

This was our 4th stay at Honokeana Cove. It is wonderful: beautiful, relaxing, and quiet. The grounds are immaculately maintained. The views are ideal, and the residents and guests are friendly and respectful. That said, Unit 219 was not up to the standard of the other units in which we have stayed previously. The housekeepers keep it clean, but cosmetically it is in need of attention.

I loved all of it. Our place was a little older but very clean and has everything you need. Sitting on the lanai was so peaceful and wonderful. Can’t beat the view. The cove for snorkeling is as wonderful as my friend told me. Leaving is the worst part about this trip.

Over the years we have stayed at this condo many times. The location over the cove can’t be beat. However, last time we were there, almost two years ago, the place needed a serious remodel. Fast forward to today and you will find wallpaper peeling off the walls in the old bathrooms, uncomfortable beds (The king in the master is so soft that it is hard to get comfortable), and the furniture is old and worn. I hope that the homeowner will update this unit. If you don’t mind roughing it a bit, the views of the cove are awesome.

219 is old and needs a lot of work. Carpeting is old. Wall paper in the bath is peeling and ugly. No smart TV to watch Netflix. Tile in kitchen is ugly and many chips. Would not stay in this unit again. Would not recommend to others either. Have stayed or seen four better units.

I love this comples. Friendly guests and wonderful staff, great setting and so private! I would recommend a different unit only because the beds are not so good and the unit is rundown and no AC, the unit gets all the afternoon sun and is very hot which makes it hard to sleep. Too much furniture in the livingroom (and there is an old beat up chair and ottoman taking up space) and the furniture on lanai is a little big for the space. Wallpaper is peeling off the bathroom walls, fans missing pull cords....Not terrible but there are nicer units there.

A wonderful and memorable experience. That condo could use new a little updating but it was perfectly located and we enjoyed every minute. Could use new flooring inside and on the balcony. Also the downstairs bathroom had a little peeling on the walls.

Although this unit has not been kept up to the standards of most of the other units in the complex, because of its ideal location we returned for a second visit. The view of the bay, the sunsets and the napping turtles can hardly be matched. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The grounds are lovely, the staff is welcoming and accommodating, and the pool was nice.

Amazing location directly overlooking the ocean and the beautiful turtle filled cove. Great for whale watching and observing sea turtles who came up to sun right below our balcony. The unit itself was very well equipped but looking its age. Definitely in need of updating but quite comfortable non the less.

The unit next to mine was undergoing renovation for the entire 8 days I was there, with high pitched grinding or sawing (I felt like I was in a dentist's office), and the smell of paint and/or solvent). I was not ever informed that this would be the situation. I do not feel I got the relaxing accommodations I paid for. My unit also was dated, with peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. I was cool enough with the breeze and fan, but the loft guest got pretty hot.

Our favorite place on Maui is Honokeana Cove. The best spot for snorkeling with green sea turtles and breathtaking views of Molokai. One of the main reasons why we keep coming back is the staff at the Cove make you feel like Ohana. Su, the rental manager, is the best! And we are so happy that Betty is back where she belongs. Scott and his cleaning staff are awesome and work hard to keep the units sparkling clean! And Ray has made positive changes to the property and it looks great! No better place than Honokeana Cove!

We had a great time at Honokeana Cove!! Management was helpful and made us feel welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our unit had a great view and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in!! Grounds were kept immaculate and appreciated the heated pool. Especially liked the stairs leading into the bay, allowing easier access to truly amazing snorkeling right outside our door. Honokeana Cove embodies the aloha spirit. Only request would be updated kitchen...but not a biggie...Greatest asset of Honokeana Cove is Ray, the property manager- he is an excellent host!!!! And of course, the amazing views can't be beat!!!!
