We had a wonderful stay here. We loved starting our day sitting on the balcony, and it was the perfect spot to watch the sunset. It was so fun whale watching from the beach, and there were plenty of places that we could walk to for lunch or dinner. There was easy parking right out front, and we were close to lots of other beaches and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!

I stayed for one week with my husband and we didnt want to leave! Wow, what a great experience we had! The views from the lanai were breathtaking! The ocean looks closer than even the pictures show. Anita was amazing at answering all of our questions. Fantastic communication! She is so personable and helpful. We loved her. The guest guide she put together is amazing. It has everything you'd ever want to know about or do in Maui. The condo had everything we needed and more than we ever expected. Some starter coffee & filters. Butter, oil, spices for cooking, suntan lotion, etc. Even laundry detergent & dryer sheets! We were very impressed. Lots of stuff had labels so it made it easy to find and put back. Anita is very organized & it was appreciated! We loved how close by shopping, restaurants & the grocery store were. The condo was clean and cozy and the AC worked great. Very quiet. The sunsets from the lanai were gorgeous. Saw a sea turtle on the beach right out front while sun bathing. The beach was perfect and not crowded the whole week. This was our favorite vacation we've ever had. Our second stay in Maui. We will be back to stay at this wonderful condo. If I could I'd give it 10 stars. Fabulous! Thank you to the wonderful hosts!

We have stayed more than a dozen times at Hale Kai. It is a gem in the Kihei area with its waterfront location and incredible sunsets. We we very impressed with how helpful and attentive Anita our host was. The unit was well equipped with a very comfy bed and a quiet AC system in both the living and bedroom. I enjoy cooking on the BBQ and they were meticulously maintained by the building manager. Mahalo

Anita is amazing. Her condo has literally everything you could ask for from snorkeling gear, beach chairs, to the beautiful view of the beach. Perfect location close to everything. She is easy to get a hold of when you have questions and I really appreciate her hospitality. I cannot recommend staying with her enough. If we ever come back to Maui we will be staying with her!

We had a great time in Maui and this condo is perfect. It is located right on the beach and the sunsets are amazing. If you go, you must walk down on the beach about 200 yards to the right at sunset and watch all the sea turtles come up on the beach. The night we were there we saw about 20 and more were coming. We hope to be back someday!

We had been looking for over a month for a VRBO in Kihei for the exact dates we needed and then we lucked out with finding Anita’s place. When I saw the 5 star review I new we had hit the jackpot and had to book fast! We arrived from Oahu after a HORRIBLE travel day as it was the same day a lot of flights were cancelled or delayed due to a system outage across Hawaii. We arrived much later than expected to the condo but check-in was nice and easy and once we stepped inside it felt like we could relax after such a hectic day. Anita has thought of all the essentials you might need during your stay and everything is clean and labeled. We used the beach chairs every day and having access to an ice maker in the fridge and some small coolers made our beach days ever more enjoyable. The beach out front the property is nice and quiet and you can see turtles from time-to-time in the water and along the shore. Our only negative was that during our stay, another condo unit on the same floor was having some renovations done so there was lots of loud construction sounds every morning which wasn’t great but out of our control. My one other suggestion/preference would be to have better blackout blinds in the bedroom area as the bedroom windows face north east so you get lots of sun first thing and it can be tough after a red eye flight/late night to sleep in. My husband and I highly recommend Anita’s place and hope you get to enjoy Kihei/Maui as much as we did!

Very nice condo located mid island, making exploration of the entire island easier to do. Nice small complex with no high rises nearby. Beautiful sunsets, lovely beach right out the door with sea turtles that come out to rest in late afternoon. So cool! Appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels and coolers that are available. Host was very quick to respond to all queries. A little issue with the door lock which host was quick to address. Highly recommend staying here!

This condo was perfect for our stay in Maui. Walking out to the beach from the condo was great! One day we walked and saw several turtles on the beach. Restaurants, grocery stores and shops were within walking distance. Anita was very responsive. We would highly recommend staying at this condo when visiting Maui!!!!

WOW! What a view. Very cozy, clean, and stocked condo. Anita and Jimmy were always available to solve any concerns. Roosters wake you up early to see the beautiful sunrise. Hear the ocean waves crashing against each other. Very enjoyable.

My friend and I had an amazing stay here in Kihei! The accommodations exceeded our expectations and Anita was great with responding if we had any questions. The views from the balcony are unreal! Also, we enjoyed the beach right in front front of the property and saw some breathtaking sunsets and even some sea turtles swimming. Great location and walking distance to some restaurants, coffee shops, and supermarket.

Anita’s condo is perfect. Great location easy 4 minute walk to Nalus and other restaurants and not far from Kihei Food Truck Court. Views from balcony are fantastic. Just the lawn and beach between you and the ocean! The condo is well equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. Short drive to Wailea (fun/touristy beach) and 30 minutes or so to Lahaina. Our favorites were Honolua Bay beach (about 50 minutes, bring beach shoes as the shore is rocky but snorkeling is the best, and the short walk through the beach forest is wonderful) and then we also really liked Kapalua Bay beach.

This property was PERFECT for our first time to Maui! It is completely furnished with absolutely everything you would need for a perfect vacation! It is very centrally located for walking to the grocery store, restaurants, drugstore, and tattoo shops. And it is just steps from the beach! One specific thing I would like to mention is the shower. We have stayed at propertys in the past with low water pressure and lukewarm water. That is NOT the case here! The pressure is fantastic and the temperature can be as hot as you can stand! Anita is a perfect host! We had travel issues due to hurricane Ian, and she was very easy to get a hold of and super helpful! Mahalo!!!

Anita made us feel welcome prior to our stay, it felt like staying with an old friend. The condo checkin was so easy and seamless, the kitchen well furnished, even a salad spinner . We were able to enjoy our fruit and Kona coffee every morning on the balcony listening to the waves and looking at the incredible view. The condo is located in a great location, close to grocery and shops. But most importantly, it was quiet and peaceful.

Our stay here was wonderful! Upon arriving, the place was very clean and well kept. The views at sunset from the lanai were unbeatable, and we enjoyed the oceanfront access. We had the pleasure of spending 7 nights at Hale Kai O’Kihei and it was absolutely wonderful. The condo is right on the beach so the unobstructed view from the lanai is simply beautiful and we were delighted to spot some turtles that crawled up onto the beach for a nap only a few feet down the way. The condo was clean and equipped with everything we needed for enjoying the beach and exploring other areas of Maui. We appreciated having a safe in the room. The bed was comfortable and even though the bedroom was adjacent to the parking lot/street we found it quiet and slept very well. The condo has A/C but we didn’t even need it! With the windows open, we found the ocean breeze kept us cool while allowing us to hear the waves as well. Communication with Anita was terrific. We were particularly impressed with the extensive visitor’s guide that she emailed ahead of time. We followed her suggestion for the West coast drive and loved our stop at the Nakalele blowhole. Many amenities are within walking distance of the condo - Coconuts had delicious fish tacos and Nalu’s had yummy breakfast. I really could go on and on about everything we enjoyed. Our only complaint is that our time there went by too fast! Many thanks Anita and Jim for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. We hope to return again soon!

Could not imagine a more perfect place to stay in Maui! Absolutely beautiful ocean views and the beach is just steps away. We loved having coffee on the lanai every morning and discovering sea turtles sleeping out on the beach at night! My husband and I found this property to be exactly what we wanted! It has an amazing view and the location is very optimal for us being able to walk to many restaurants and stores. The unit was clean, the king bed comfortable and very nice temperature inside due to the two AC units. Anita is very fast to respond to any concern. The condo complex was on the beach with all the amenities necessary to enjoy beach vacation living. Grocery store within easy walking distance. Very comfortable beach side living.
